There is no governor living or dead who stole more than tinubu. Name the governor who is richer than him? Adenuga is $4billion but still a small boy to tinubu in terms of wealth. All those se governors do not have half of what he stole in Lagos......... |

Your Ýoruba people opened a thread just to put down the igbos calling them criminal region and those who support criminals isn't that inciting enough? For the avoidance of doubt, the greatest criminals who looted Nigeria dry are the yorubas and the northerners I don't need to start listing them..... |

A senator from the Sw is a drug lord who would soon be extradited. The leader of the sw is a known drug dealer and a criminal who stole lagos state dry. He still has a case to answer for the death of funsho williams. Abiola was a known politician who planned coups in Nigeria and who stole money meant for ITT and the sw has the effrontery to declare june 12 democracy day. Awolowo was a known coupist and was jailed twice for the same offence. These are well documented thieves and criminals who your people worship like slaves in egypt. And you have the guts to tribalise corruption to the igbos? Obasanjo who had less than 10k and now a billionaire in dollars isn't a criminal? Please spare us that nonsense crap |

going by ur logic, one would expect the ND to be like Dubai with d derivation funds and all they get.. Talk of wisdom, once it's not there, it's not there you can't play magic atal Niger delta would be dubai if the leeches allow them to manage their resources. Akwa ibom is a case study. Lagos has the luxury of infrastructure left by the british and the federal govt plus the status as capital territory. Which equals population. Even abuja doesn't have what lagos does. It will always be bullshit if it doesn't go ur way |

Can such be said of some who worship money? All they respect is money regardless of d source. tinubu is a drug dealer,a thief who embezzled the money in lagos state and probably a murderer. What's up with all these accommodating ? Nobody was forced to join Nigeria. If you feel the balance in lagos is threatened, the best thing to do is to declare lagos a state. Or better still, support those who wants to leave the union and you can have your lagos in peace. Lagos owes Nigeria and not the other way around. Why some peeps here feel Lagos is what it is because of the ingenuity of the indigenes is very false. Lagos was commercial yes we agree. But the infrastructure that was built by the FG can not be replicated by the state government because it would take a massive number of years and a very large amount of funds to prosecute. Lagosians should be grateful for the efforts made by the british and the FG in their state. What they have benefited, no other state has received a quarter of it excerpt abuja, and we all know how abuja is today. If we were to practice fiscal federalism, who would even bother to leave his region down to the lagos? Apart from lagos,I cannot live in any other state in the SW. The truth is that what lagos got is as a result of the bias and injustice that Nigeria as an entity encourages. I see no reason why 80% of the infrastructure of Nigeria would be in only one state when we have 36 !! It doesn't encourage development. |

He should have built this in Awka and then built something more modest in umuchukwu. This building is not in sync with the environment of a rural setting like umuchukwu. I don't understand this waste of funds. even if the building was erected in a slum, what it would do is to attract investment to the community and am glad its done in the early stages of anambras developmental growth. No need congesting awka let these areas grow at their own pace. |

jakiedudu: So it is lawful for a muslim to abduct under age christian girls from their families and force them into marriage Now I believe the conspiracy that northern elites are behind this wickedness of kidnapping young christian children for islam. I read an article last year about islam and non muslims. Particularly what isis does to non muslim girls below a particular age. They are free to sell and covert as slaves those who aren't muslims and sold to rich arab individuals for high fees. The chibok incident was a classic example what islam talks about how you relate with non muslims. That is why most of them don't see it as a big deal to forcefully take a non muslims kid and marry them and converting them. Nigeria was never meant to be. You have different people with very conflicting cultures and religions. |

ElsonMorali: If we intend to have a prosperous country then base instincts like that don't deserve a place in Nigeria.
We made that mistake when we voted Jonathan in the first time in 2011, because we wanted to show the Hausa/Fulanis that they didn't own Nigeria. Well, we only succeeded in dragging our beloved country back.
One thing you can be assured of is that the Yoruba people will always vote for progress whoever embodies that.
The rest of you in the south can vote for corruption all in the name of showing Hausa/Fulani their place. it is this holier than thou attitude that irks people from the eastern region. Which president isn't corrupt right from independence? You voted for progress and what we got was recession without a clear cut policy or agenda on how to take us out. My friend you voted out of sentiment. Since when has the SW been patriotic? |

Sweetle: The bold part is exactly why the Super South wanted GEJ to continue. If for nothing, to prove to the hausa/fulani that they don't own this country and cannot stampede us into handing over power to them.
They threatened us that if they didn't get power Nigeria would cease to exist and we should have looked them in the eyeball and call their bluff but we received their javelling from the yoruba flank.
What a pity. exactly my thoughts....... |
