Politics / Re: Saraki Buys New N330million Cars by mecks15(m): 8:10pm On Feb 27, 2016
Its obvious that saraki is out to give this APC government a bad image. Saraki is a NIMB who doesn't care about the dwindling revenue of this country as long as he is ok, he doesn't want to know what the citizens are passing through at this time. This is why he took the senate president against the wish of party leaders, the party leaders didn't want him because they knew the kind of fellow he is. Saraki is a corrupt, greedy and overly ambitious citizen who thinks about himself alone. I just wonder how some people are supporting him to remain on that seat. One thing am Sure of is that his days on that seat are numbered.
Politics / Re: Ifeanyi Ubah calls for Adeosun, Emefiele to resign by mecks15(m): 11:58am On Feb 26, 2016
Am just wondering when ubah became an economic expert to know academic and practical economic policies. Its just funny. I think Ubah should just keep quiet or seek public attention elsewhere. Am beginning to think that the restrictions on dollar is biting him hard and he is looking for a way to twist the CBN to change their minds.

Politics / Re: Buhari Admininistration: A Government Of Failure, Tears And Disappointment by mecks15(m): 4:45pm On Feb 25, 2016
@barcanista, sincerely u lack talk. Its even worse that you are condemning an eight month old government when a mess of sixteen years is littered everywhere for Nigerians to see. The economic problem started during the last administration but we all didn't take notice of it because of the elections. Recall that the last administration resorted to borrowing to pay salaries while workers in the states where suffering over unpaid salaries despite the years of boom. Today the federal government is paying without borrowing even in the phase of dwindling revenue. The Naira is firming up against the dollar, after the saboteurs saw that Buhari won't devalued the Naira, they are gradually selling them up and CBN is mopping the excess dollars up. Tell Nigerians wailing around you to be patient and help to take this country back to the glory days, and that includes you.

Politics / Re: Ekiti Assembly Warns Buhari Against Any Attempt To Remove Fayose by mecks15(m): 8:56am On Jan 22, 2016
Let me say here that, whoever is sympathising with fayose is an Enemy of state. He shouldn't be complaining because he use force and illegality to get to his present position. He has even biten more than he can chew, commited a lot of political atrocities, now the law iS about to catch up with him And some wailers call it witch hunt. He should face his defense and stop disturbing Nigerians.
Politics / Re: FG Orders Fresh Review Of Halliburton Case by mecks15(m): 3:53pm On Jan 14, 2016
@drss. The point is you hate buhari with passion, therefore there is nothing he does that you will speak good ofm so arguing with you is a waste of time and energy. We need to take away prejudice when discussing national issues, else we won't make any head way in this country.
Politics / Re: I Am Not Eyeing Buhari's Job - Atiku by mecks15(m): 2:17pm On Dec 28, 2015
Nigerians have come to know Atiku as a double faced man, and going by OBJ account of your schemes to unsit him when he was president, we won't be surprised if you want to repeat it again. Your eyes iS still on that seat, so we won't be surprised if you pull another stunt to get there at all cost.
Politics / Re: Mark Reveals Why He Has Not Been Talking In The Senate by mecks15(m): 2:02pm On Dec 28, 2015
Am not surprised he keeps silent in the chambers. He is yet to regain consciousness from the fatal loss of his party in the last election which thwarted his third term bid as senate president.
Politics / Re: Mark Reveals Why He Has Not Been Talking In The Senate by mecks15(m): 1:59pm On Dec 28, 2015
Your party chairman cannot say NO because he doesn't have the will power to do so, but deep down he wants you to step aside so that younger generation can take over. Sometimes I wonder the kind of greed and sit tight syndrome with our leaders. After 16 years in the senate, you are still praying to God to tell you to continue ,because you are the only man in idoma land. God help this nation.

Religion / Re: Why I Visited President Buhari – Father Mbaka by mecks15(m): 5:22am On Dec 28, 2015
Sometime I wonder what we want in this country, when we had fools and money bag false propHet occupying the Aso Villa, we neva complained. Now that a sincere man is there and was visited by a prophet of God who most of us knows was called by God, we start making unnecessary noise. Do we prefer the former who are killing this nation with false policy and prayers or the latter with their sound policy direction and a powerful man of God praying for them.

Politics / Re: HOW AGRO-INDUSTRILIZATION CAN BE THE "NEW CRUDE OIL" IN NIGERIA by mecks15(m): 12:19pm On Dec 25, 2015
@obasiken, it is so painful that our leaders are so self centred that they only think about themselves. If there is anything you can do to bring this investors back, now that a new governor is in charge, please do. You will not only be helping yourself but the teeming unemployed youth in this country to get a livelihood. Let us the citizens begin to look for ways to better our lives in this country, because waiting for this set of greedy and selfish leaders will not do us any good.
Politics / Re: Buhari's 2016 Budget Speech: “the Budget Of Change” by mecks15(m): 4:51pm On Dec 22, 2015
When Buhari was debriefing permanent secretaries and heads of agencies and department, people said all manner of things. Today, he has shown Nigerians why he did that. Now that the budget of this MDA's are known and with the setting up of the Efficiency unit, these MDA's cannot be a route to siphoning our resources.
Politics / Re: Buhari's 2016 Budget Speech: “the Budget Of Change” by mecks15(m): 4:46pm On Dec 22, 2015
This is great, for the first time in a long while, oil revenue is pegged at 870 billion while other sectors provides the balance of 6.08 trillion. This will be achieved through an improved tax base and blocking of all leakages in government revenue through the TSA. Who says our economy cannot be diversified. The government is doing a lot of little significant things that when its eventually marched together will make a great impact on all Nigerians. the large chunk of the capital expenditure will be expended on ministries that will provide much infrastructure, then health and education. Mark my word, Nigeria is on the part of a great recovery.

This is a serious government, a buget of 6.08 trillion at $38 per barrel of crude is a big challenge. This shows that this budget will be funded by other sectors of the economy, that's diversification of the economy. Its a wonderful budget that will show the ingenuity of the buhari led government. My fear is the revenue collection and its implementation, but with the efficiency unit, GIFMIS, IPPIS and the calibre of people in this team, I have no fear.
Politics / Re: Kaduna Refinery Restarts Production by mecks15(m): 7:00am On Dec 21, 2015
Its only the nay-sayers who have refused to see that there is a policy direction with this government and that is rooting out corruption, efficient management of both human, natural and financial resources to better the lot of Nigerians. the nay sayers who are sincere in their heart knows that there is a difference between this government and Jonathan's government, but they don't want to admit it so that they won't be laughed at. Let's not be prejudiced about it, Nigeria is moving forward with this government despite the numerous challenges but they will be overcomed.

Today's judgement by the court of appeals confirms that there was no election in rivers. What baffles me is why is Wike scared of a rerun if he claims that his people love him. At least we see the mamoth crowd that greets him on the street of rivers when he is inspecting projects, maybe those crowd were paid to sing his praises. One thing is certain, PDP will not find it easy in that rerun.

Politics / Re: A Detailed Analysis On Why Hon James Faleke Should Be The APC Gov Candidate by mecks15(m): 7:36am On Nov 25, 2015
you are right, which ever Way you look at it the APC has won the election. With APC leading with 41000 votes and 49000 votes being contested for. Its certain that all the 49000 voters will note be accredited and all the accredited voters will not vote. Secondly, there is no how all the voters will vote for the PDP even if all the supplementary election will hold in igala polling units. So add and subtract, the APC has won this election. In my own view, FALEKE should be allowed to continue the process and a running mate nominated for him.
My fear is that this might not happen considering the ethnic and religious prejudice in the state. The igala and Muslims are the majority in kogi state. So they believe that they must always be at the helm of affairs in the state, this makes it difficult for an okun speaking Yoruba to ascend to the government house. For we as a nation to move forward, religious and ethnic prejudice must be checkmated. FALEKE is a good candidate and I know he will perform.
Politics / Re: SENATE PRESIDENCY PDP Positions Mark, Ekweremadu, Akpabio by mecks15(m): 12:12pm On Sep 27, 2015
Those who think PDP will take over the senate if saraki is taken out is just parochial in their view. The truth is APC have already mapped out their strategy for this. If you have been following the NASS election tribunal, you will see that the case of David mark, akpabiO and melaye are very serious. That is what the APC Will use to shut the PDP out, mark my word, David mark will not try to cause any further problem because he knows that his case at the tribunal is very dicey. Same for akpabio who was highly corrupt as a governor. Either way you see it the APC will win this war.
Politics / Re: The State Of Nigeria Under President Buhari by mecks15(m): 4:50pm On Sep 13, 2015
I agree with Ugomba, PMB needs at least a year before we can assess his performance, its too early to start castigating him. PDP governed this country fOr 16 yrs and a lot of things went wrong, it certainly needs time and effective leadership to correct those things. This country was bleeDing more under GEJ. Recall how easy it is to tear down a structure and hoW hard it is to build it up. Nigeria is on a path of recovery and greatness, all we need is patience.

That change is already being felt by true and patriotic Nigerians who are not blinded by sentiments and biase. The restructurings of ministries and all other organs of government is a very great part of that change we are talking about.
Politics / Re: PMB's 100 Days Of Restoring Sanity, Accountability, Hope & Lost Glory by mecks15(m): 10:26am On Sep 01, 2015
One must take away ethnic affiliation and sentiments in this issues. From my point of view, what buhari has done within his 100 days in office is putting in place better institutions dat is free Of corruption and bribery, so that the dividends of this administration can be felt by the common man. To me its a right step in the right direction given that without a good and solid institution, his efforts and the change agenda won't be felt by Nigerians. Jonathan's efforts were rubbished, because he was working with a weak institution. I think he has started well within this 100 days, I just hope and pray that after thiS has been completed he will move continue with the tempo and give Nigerians the change they yearned fOr.

Well, dis defections should take place, it happens when the umbrella wasn't leaking, now that the brooms is bringing change, its expected. For me, I think we need to have a flexible political ideology dat gives rooms for formidable oppositions in the SE and SS. That will give room for competitions and better manifestoes and also make the parties be on their toes, knowing If they relax, it will be counter productive.
