There is something I am not getting about nairaland this days o. Is it that the moderators just decide be myopic or they just love being merely "existing" on this forum.

My mother is currently in the hospital now nursing chronic stomach ulcer. We've made relentless efforts for the past 3years to find medical solution to the problem but to no avail. It's been from one hospital to another, if she is relieved today, before 2weeks, the pains start again.

No intention to raise funds for them, but it is just a way of exposing their minds to how they can work together as people with different skills. They are students.

This is the plan on ground as regards this program:

1) You will be asked to drop your skills i.e the skills you have or what you currrently do to earn money.
Example: David may drop his skills by typing the words,"I am a Music Producer" another person will do same and so on.

2) You will look for or choose a potential group member who you think you can work with in terms of the skills you posess.

3) After the selection period, we'll have group A, group B, group C.

4) Group A members will post their ideas on how they think they can work together, then other group members will give them suggestions too. After the group A session has elapsed, group B will follow and it will go on and on.

5) Finally, once you have seen that you can work together with a particular person in your group, other things can be made CONFIDENTIAL between you and your partner unless you want to let us to know, perhaps to give you idea.

NB: If you do not have any skills in particular, there is also a platform for you. Just indicate by letting us to know which skills you would like to learn if you have the opportunity.

I organised an entrepreneurial program for a set of people, the idea is to get people who have various skills to come together, then anyone who has a particular skill in any field can come into parrtnership with another person with a different skills and work together.

The program is just an initiative organised with a group of people just to expose them more to the real concept of entrepreneurship which is the only penacea to the problem of unemployment after school.

The program is scheduled to hold in a couple of days, so I sincerely need your advice and suggestions on what kinds of features I can include to make the program meritorous one. Thanks for your reply.

One thing that should be understood is that neither Islam nor Christianity advocates violence, but there are some people who misunderstand the teachings of the religions; which has led them to becoming extremists, and there by commiting a lot of attrocities in their name.

Christians should stop using what is happening now about Islam as a tool or opportunity to condemn the religion; rather, they should see terrorists as what they are and they should be treated as such. This way, we can all send them to extinction.
