When the "likes" on Nairaland showed them, they called us APC e-rats creating multiple accounts, when Google votes proved it; they said GMB was an online president; Dele Mohammadu showed them the graph but they said "na lie, GEJ till 2019 (temitemi1)".

We told them SouthWest will vote GMB; they created a thread: "Beyond propaganda, GEJ is favoured to win SouthWest".

Now we have been proven right.
The masses have spoken.

PoliticsDrop Your Words Of Advice For Barcanista by medamillion(op): 6:58pm On Mar 31, 2015
Barcanista, a man with a reputable political charisma who is supposed to be, by now the most respected and honoured progressive member got it wrong at the last minute to victory.

As at the time he decided to make a U-Turn from the change train; I personally wrote an Open Letter him urging the young vibrant patriot to have a rethink, yet he decided to go the wrong direction.
https://www.nairaland.com/2157143/open-letter-barcanista

Sentiments apart, it was vividly obvious and clear that President Jonathan has disappointed Nigerians, having given him the unchallenged mandate in 2011.

LESSON FOR ALL:
This is not a platform to call Barcanista all sort of names but to transfer this to a real life lesson that, we should not let a decision of 1minute render the efforts of 20years to vanity

Here's my advice:
"Don't gamble, always think it through carefully before you act”

"Laying a foundation is not enough, but building the house to the finish is what matters".

The most important thing is that we are all winners!

CONGRATS Nairaland progressives
CONGRATS General Muhammadu Buhari
CONGRATS Nigeria

Drop your words of advice for Barcanista

Barcanista is one guy whose level of political brilliance is enviable, even in my open letter to him I urged him to have a rethink, but he refused.

Politics apart; we must have learnt a lot of real-life lessons from the beginning and the end of Mr Tonye on Nairaland.

dadexcel:
. There's something you guys do not understand, its not enough for you to have the highest number of votes, in a presidential poll, you must have the highest number of votes and atleast 25% of total votes cast in atleast 24 states of the federation. So if a buhari or a jonathan has 1 million votes in otuoke or daura for instance and has les than 25 % votes in anything less than 24 states, you cannot be declared winner by the constitution, so let's know the facts so that we are not surprised when the result is announced. God bless. Us all!
Going by your analysis, do you think Buhari will have less than 25% in these states:

Bauchi
Benue
Borno
Edo
Ekiti
Gombe
Jigawa
Kaduna
Kano
Kogi
Kwara
Lagos
Nasarawa
Niger
Ogun
