Angry passengers disrupted Arik Air’s flight operations at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja for some hours on Thursday because of the inability of the airline to transport them to their various destinations. It was learnt that passengers of the carrier, who were meant to travel from Abuja to Warri, Delta State around 3pm on Wednesday, could not do so and the flight had to be rescheduled. One of those affected told our correspondent that the passengers were asked to return to the airport on Thursday, but on getting to the NAIA, the airline announced that the flight had been cancelled. This irked the travellers and made them to stage a protest, as they prevented other passengers of the airline who were travelling to other destinations from boarding their respective flights around 4.30pm on Thursday. http://mediacity.com.ng/passengers-disrupt-arik-flights-abuja-airport/ |

Ahead of tonight’s heavyweight clash between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield, Jurgen Klopp has rapped Jose Mourinho for moaning while in the technical area. Klopp irked his rival at Stamford Bridge 12 months ago not only with his coaching acumen but also some characteristic animated touchline antics. Of Mourinho’s post-match gripe last season, Klopp says: “Did he speak to me about it? No, of course not. That he moans is not a fault of mine “I am not sure anybody told me about it after the game, and now nearly one year later we talk about it. “He is a very, very successful and very experienced colleague. We had a few talks before the games, especially against Real Madrid. united “It was always difficult, because he always has good teams behind him I would say, and yeah, always a big challenge and that’s how it is this time. “I’ve said before it’s not Mourinho against Klopp, that would make the game much easier. “This is Liverpool against United, two good sides. We are in the race for three points and that’s the only thing I need.” http://mediamatters.com.ng/liverpool-manager-jugen-klopps-mourinho-moans/ |
