Tricky tie. . . With Atletico, you never know what to expect. One minute they seem like genuine title contenders that they should be, next day, they lose 2 - 0 to Bilbao at home. Atletico are consistently inconsistent. Atletico have lost four of their last 5 games and Quique Sanchez Flores is under tremendous pressure.
Last season, this tie ended 1 - 0 in favour of Atleti; Barca's only loss.

I expect a tough game but as usual, Barca will prevail. My smart money and unsmart money is on Barca recording a record 16th straight La Liga win.

It's not entirely about won eventually won the league but the "realistic" chances of other teams winning it. It has always been closely fought by any of the TOP FOUR!  - at least to some extent.
RM had 96 points last season and still did not win the league but that's not the funny part, 3rd place Valencia had 71!!! 4th placed had what? 63!!
There you have a difference of 36 POINTS!!! between the 1st and 4th placed.

In the EPL (since 07/08) the difference in points between the 1st and 4th placed teams NEVER went past 18 points. What does that tell you? And even in past seasons (e.g 04/05) when the difference was above 30 points, Chelsea won the league with 95 points. A point less than RM last season.

Go figure.

In 2005, Everton finished 4th with a negative goal difference, at least, that will never happen in the La Liga

Tuncáy to Wolfsburg = great signing. He is one of my favourite players(Nihat too). Great replacement for Dzeko. He may not be as prolific as the later but he has great touches, exceptional technique, wonderful skill and can shoot really well. All things being equal, he should be a hit in the BL.
