So it's Walcott that wants to do what CR couldn't do? Chei! What is this world turning into? |
I think the first 15-20 minutes is key. I expect Arsenal to start like a house on fire and stretch us in the first 15-20 minutes. Once we survive these moments and settle down, the game is all ours. |
manmustwac:You guys were only lucky. Milan were the better side but they unfortunately had to fall to that break. Even when you guys were dominating in the first 30 minutes, you had no clear cut chances. You guys have it all to do at the WHL because Milan are going to attack all 90 minutes. How will you cope that? For how long are you going the park the bus before it starts to shift? ![]() |
usbcable:Inzaghi is out for the rest of the season. |
Spurs were just lucky. Milan will finish the job at WHL |

Eyes have not seen, neither has it entered into the heart of any man what the Blaugrana have in store for Arsenal |
Seriously, I think Milan has a great chance of breaking Bayern's 11-1 record win over Sporting CP in this fixture. Milan vs Spurs, what a mismatch! This will be one flawless victory for Milan |

One of the G.O.A.T. The football world appreciates everything you've given to the game. We'll miss you |
usbcable:Even in bball, it's another el-thrashico. Levante will be tougher than you expect. They've beaten Villareal and Almeria in their last two games. I think anything can happen. |
They hardly play the same position but who is better at what he does? Pedro most definitely. He has 19 goals already this season. He scored 19 last season; his breakout season(22 goals if you add the UEFA super cup, the Spanish super cup and World Club Cup). He was Barca's second top scorer behind Messi last season, in a team that had Ibrahimovic. Pedro is above Nasri. |
Is it because of the booing? These people paid money to come and watch SE play and they deserve to see the best of performances from the SE. These people queued up under scorching sun to get the match ticket to watch this game and the least the SE can do is to put a decent performance. I'm not encouraging the booing habit but I think it's being overflogged and it's not enough reason to change a match venue. |
semid4lyfe:Enyimba dey come join us soon ![]() Seriously, I weak for these guys o o: |
debosky:I was only reminding you that your greatest ever team was knocked out in the CL by one of in your own words, "the rest" . holydante:We've been flogging them from way back and frankly, I don't see the trend ever changing. |
debosky:The same league produced a Valencia that defeated your invincibles in 2004 |
This is coming rather late. Team of the week for the penultimate round of matches. Ekigho, Okonkwo lead NPL Week 15 team Two of the players named in the Nigerian side for the international friendly against Sierra Leone on Wednesday in Lagos made their way into the Team of the Week of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL). The two players are Ehiosun Ekigho (pictured) of Warri Wolves and Chibuzor Okonkwo of Heartland. The Premier League also adopted a 3-3-1-3 formation for this week’s team. Ehiosun clearly made the team following his hat-trick against Sharks last weekend, which is the first to be scored this season by any player in the topflight. Okonkwo was picked due to his performance at right-back for Heartland against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC). But he will function as one of the three defenders in a three-man backline. Apart from the duo, Enyimba and Wolves provided more personnel to the side with three men each. The champions, Enyimba, produced the coach in Okey Emordi as well as two playing personnel in Rasheed Olabiyi and Atanda Sakibu following their side’s 2 – 1 away win at Crown Football Club last Sunday. Goalkeeper Ambrose Vanzekin and Azubuike Egwuekwe joined Ekigho as players from Wolves. Egwuekwe also makes his second appearance for a straight second week. The surprise addition in this week’s team is Niger Tornadoes’ midfield enforcer, Shehu Sabole, for his box-to-box performance against Gombe United last Saturday. Others in the team are Festus Austin of Dolphins and Kadiri Aminu of Bukola Babes, who takes up the supporting striker’s role behind the three strikers. The Ghanaian duo of Owusu Addae of Dolphins and James Amankwei of Jos University Teaching Hospital (Juth) FC complete the team. TEAM OF THE WEEK Ambrose Vanzekin (Warri Wolves) Chibuzor Okonkwo (Heartland) Azubuike Egwuekwe (Warri Wolves) Festus Austin (Dolphins) Rasheed Olabiyi (Enyimba) Owusu Addae (Dolphins) Shehu Sabole (Niger Tornadoes) Kadiri Aminu (Bukola Babes) Ehiosun Ekigho (Warri Wolves) James Amankwei (Juth FC) Atanda Sakibu (Enyimba) Coach: Okey Emordi (Enyimba) |
This away win for Dolphins is their third this season. Kaduna United despite losing 2-1 have scored in all of its games this season. |
The league is Dolphins to lose. Very interesting results coming in the league these days. Another win for Babes, they are now undefeated in 8 matches. Coming up this midweek- Enyimba vs Heartland(The Eastern Derby). This promises to be a big one. |
^^It wasn't on DSTV Enyimba are through to the next round. They defeated St. Michel Ouenze 2 - 0. |
How will someone say Camron and MIMS are wack? -Nicki Minaj is all that comes to mind now. |

Villa's goal was really sick |
Inzaghi - runs around the pitch like he's gone insane. Raul- slides on the turf and kisses his ring. Kaka- He invented the now famous 'fingers pointed at the sky' celebration that almost everyone does now. |
Our trend of starting slowly after any break of any sort comes to play yet again. We were similarly unconvincing against Levante in our first game this year. This was always gonna come, we definitely can't win forever. This 2nd half of the season is gonna be tough. I think Masch was poor. He really needs to leave behind those EPL style challenges and concentrate on being better on the ball. Kudos to Gijon. They gave us a fight. Diego Castro was really massive for them. |
Mohammed Gambo scored the only goal as Kano Pillars beat Mighty Barolle 1 - 0 to progress to the 2nd round with a 3 - 1 aggregate score. |
Better than a loss. I didnt expect that it would be Sporting of all teams that would end our winning streak. We always play badly after breaks. |
Villaaaaaaaaaa. . . against his old club |
A little over 10' to go |
see what the international break has caused |
