FT Kwara Utd 1 vs Heartland 0 |
goalllll! Sheriff Jimoh. 1 - 0 Kwara United |
still goaless. not many high points. Heartland looks the more likely to score, they've spurned a couple of chances |
^^ Rivers state government own both clubs. Dolphins at that point in time were topping the league with 6 points while Sharks were down the table with 2 points. I think the motive behind the match fixing was just to get Sharks some valuable 3 points and get them off the foot of the table |
City 1 - 0 up. Tevez on 4 minutes |
Match postponed till tomorrow, Sunday. Time, 5 PM(Nig.Time) |
If I say this Offa Township Stadium is horrible, I'm only being nice |
semid4lyfe:they are not the same. The one that played for the Super Eagles then is now a coach and was former coach of Lobi Stars. It's just a strange coincidence. There's also a Kalu Uche in Enyimba. You can check this link: http://sunday.dailytrust.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5238:imenger-warns-siasia-against-drastic-changes&catid=22:fever-pitch&itemid=112 |
Samson Siasia will not be in charge of Heartland in this game. I dont know how much that is going to affect them. Kwara United are yet to get into their stride this season. They've been dropping points and lost last week to newly promoted Crown FC but expect them to turn the corner soon because they are a team with a lot of quality. They finished 4th last season. They have a young squad and also a very good coach. I'll go for a Kwara Utd win |

usbcable:na me go first ask you how market ![]() |
honeric01:He was endorsed by Enugu state government. If he were chairman, Professor Oye Ibidapo would not have nullified the election and Baribote and others against Owumi will not have a case |
She would only go for either of them if they were the only two guys remaining in the world and I can bet she'd go for Ribadu. D'bang is a fat no, no! |
we actually dated before. That was way back, before she became a star. Yeah, she's hot |
he looks finer in videos |
^^ My thoughts exactly. Why didnt Baribote and the other candidates vying for NPL's chairmanship position do anything before the election? Maybe they thought they were going to win. As for Owumi being Rangers chairman, I'm not sure about that. Rangers chairman is Onyishi Maduka Samuel and he has been for some time now, even before the NPL elections |
could that have been spambot at work? Anyway, check this link http://thenationonlineng.net/web2/articles/47437/1/NPL-Elections-Should-Owumis-Victory-Stand/page1.html |

Fixtures: Saturday: 4/12/2010 Niger Tornadoes vs Dolphins Kwara United vs Heartland Plateau United vs Bukola Babes Sharks vs Sunshine Stars Gombe United vs Ocean Boys Sunday: 5/12/2010 Warri Wolves vs Lobi Stars Kaduna United vs JUTH FC Crown FC vs Kano Pillars Enyimba vs Shooting Stars Rangers vs Zamfara |
honeric01:Owumi was never a club chairman so that already made him ineligible to contest the position of NPL boss. The statutes say you must be a club chairman. Owumi was not a club chairman though he held an administrative position with Rangers and that is why the tussle is lingering |
Dis Guy:there's still a lot of work to be done especially in the area of television and publicity. They simply have to find a way to make the league seen on local tv. Besides, there should be features, magazine shows, highlight shows and all what not to help create a huge hype around the league. But then, Owumi has made an auspicious start and I hope he continues this way |
Valencia win or draw. Madrid head into this fixture on the back of a 5 - 0 drubbing by Barca. Morale must be at an all time low. Ronaldo is also a major doubt while Higuain is ruled out. Valencia are doing very well. The team is quality through and through. Miguel and Jeremy Matthieu at right and left back respectively. Ever Banega and Juan Mata orchestrating the midfield and the in form Artiz Aduriz and Roberto Soldado up front. I dont know how Madrid are gonna survive this |
not the right time to play Barca |
Dayokanu |
PurestBoy:I doubt they'll be there in 2022. Rooney will be 36 and Terry will be over 40. |
medjai:still waiting on the outcome of the meeting of the executive committee on the Owumi/Baribote issue. I dont know if they still met because Siasia was also to be unveiled on the same day. Anyways, whatever they do, they should make sure Owumi remains chairman of the NPL. The man obviously has a vision. This season, the league has taken a quantum leap from what it ever was and it can only get better with him in charge. Hardly have we had any case of crowd trouble, violence, referees being beaten up and all what nots that were hitherto bedevilling the league. I know he is not qualified to be NPL chairman but he should be allowed to continue based on what he has achieved in his short stay in office and there should be no need for another election |
googles:nah. . . I think it's the smile part. Not like it's straight up gross but smiling after farting just seem funny to me. No biggie if that's what you do ![]() |
I wonder how Russia pulled it off. I mean the only recognisable face in their bid team was Elena Isinbayeva, the polevault champion. Vladimir Putin and Dmitriy Medvedev were in faraway Moscow when all the other contenders had their who is who in Zurich. England had Prince William, David Cameron, David Beckham and others. I think the fact that they have never hosted the world cup played to their advantage. I also think there's a motive to open Eastern Europe to the rest of the world. Eastern Europe have for long been a region shrouded in secrecy. Most of the countries there are called 'Iron Curtain Countries'. Most of the countries there dont belong to EU. I dont think it's fair to criticise the English press. They could have been more pragmatic though. I think they were only doing their job. The whole world and Nigeria in particular is benefiting from what they did. If Nigerian journalists were this daring, Nigeria wont be were it is today. Before his downfall, Amos Adamu had bought and paid for Nigerian football. He was the man behind the scene, pulling all the strings. That England were not given the hosting rights for the 2018 world cup probably because their journalists did what others could not do shows how dysfunctional and corrupt the world we live in is |
googles:gross I pretend I'm a celeb and shoot my own MTV Cribs ![]() |
I think he should be given a chance to prove himself |
England brought it upon themselves. The Sunday Times report and the BBC Panorama feature were always gonna have adverse effects on their bid. But then, someone had to expose the rot in FIFA and its not fair they had to pay the price for being daring and audacious. No Eastern European nation have ever hosted the world cup so its good they gave it to Russia, at least for a change. As for Qatar 2022, I expect a lavish world cup. They are planning to build air conditioned stadia, can you beat that? |
