I believe every health habit we come across online are very important and necessary. But I also believe some of them are odd and may deprive people of living a good and decent life.

For instance, junk food are very prevalent in today's society, most health tips says we should stay entirely away from consuming it.

Yes, too much of everything is bad but shouldn't we consume them responsibly and accordingly?

HABITS THAT PROTECT YOUR HEART

1. Reduce salt in your food: too much salt raises your blood pressure quietly.

2. Check your blood pressure regularly: early detection saves lives.

3. Walk at least 30 minutes a day: movement keeps your blood vessels flexible

4• Eat more fruits and vegetables: they help clean up excess cholesterol.

5. Drink enough water: dehydration thickens the blood and stresses the heart

Open comment for 10 more habits

6. Cut down on fried foods: they increase bad cholesterol

7. Manage stress intentionally: stress hormones make your BP spike

8. Sleep 7–8 hours daily: your heart rests and repairs at night

9. Avoid smoking and second-hand smoke: it stiffens and damages blood vessels

10. Limit alcohol: too much weakens the heart muscles

11. Maintain a healthy weight: reduces workload on the heart

12. Choose whole grains: they help lower cholesterol

13. Do regular medical checkups: BP, cholesterol, sugar and more

14. Take your medications consistently (if prescribed): skipping doses is dangerous

15. Stay hydrated and stay active: this is a simple but powerful combo

Which one do you do comfortably

LOL...what resources.

When you people were clapping for Obasanjo when he removed tolls on the road, not knowing you were kpaing the road system in this country by extension.?

South Africa has a good road system, and they have tolls. It's not like everyone is rich there, there are even broke ass white people there.
And you have said nothing but the truth, but if you remove corruption, mismanagement, embezzlement among the rest of what we are known for in public offices, we know we shouldn't be where we are.

Nice to hear that...but I think Nigeria should do more than this with all resources and depth in place.

HealthRe: Oral Habits That Need To Be Studied by meedoLock(op): 8:24pm On Dec 07, 2025
EFFECTS OF OPEN BITE
1. Poor biting efficiency : You can't bite foods like noodles, suya, spaghetti, apples, or meat properly.

2.Speech problems – especially lisping and unclear “s,” “t,” “d,” “z” sounds.

6. Facial changes showing long-face appearance, weak lip seal, and sometimes a narrow upper jaw.

4. Difficulty swallowing properly – leading to abnormal swallowing patterns.

5. Orthodontic challenge – open bites are harder to correct if the patient relapses back to the habit.

6.Tongue thrust aggravation – the tongue slips into the space, making the problem worse.

7. Mouth Breathing: They often breathe through their mouth, exposing the body to higher microbial load.

Stop that child today from sucking his/her fingers.
HealthRe: Oral Habits That Need To Be Studied by meedoLock(op): 8:23pm On Dec 07, 2025
What is an OPEN BITE:
An open bite means that the upper and lower teeth do not touch themselves when the mouth is closed. It can be seen when the child has primary tooth, and if he/she does not stop before the first permanent teeth come out, It will be seen for life .

SportsRe: Happy South Africans Mock Nigeria Over Failure To Qualify For WC by meedoLock(m): 3:05pm On Nov 17, 2025
DiamondsAreFore:
The controversial South African Sports Minister, Gayton Mackenzie who was a former gang member and organised criminal when he was a young man, has taken to his X account to mock Nigerians for failing to qualify for the WC and other South Africans have joined him.

The minister commented on last night's game:

They were busy digging a grave for @BafanaBafana instead of preparing adequately 🕺🏽🙏

Mr Mackenzie had earlier caused controversy when he said that he did not want Nigeria to qualify for next year's World Cup because of the role that Nigeria had played in the deduction of 3 points from South Africa in the group stages for fielding an ineligible player in their game against Lesotho in March this year.

https://x.com/GaytonMcK/status/1990289757243609471?t=j9m7S3K9YUqNKO8ZppBIJg&s=19[/quote]I see all these as an obsession. Is the minister sure their national team could navigate his way out of group stage when the event kick-off? Should Nigeria come for them when they are thrown out of the competition?

Africa should feel sober and reflective when it comes to world cup tournament. Imagine no African team has made his way into the final of any world cup ever played talkless of winning a thing, yet we are here celebrating disqualification into a world cup tournament.

Something serious must be going on in our polity and preparation every round of the competition.

Congrats to Congo though 👍

So, what is your take?
What is that privilege you believe others take for granted?
Having freedom is germain. Ex convict would tell you what it takes to be a free man after a period behind bar.

Good health should also be given a thought. It takes more than money for some people to inhale, eat, urinate and at times defecate on their own.
PoliticsRe: Collapse Nigeria Into Zones, Ex-Envoy Prof Akinjide Osuntokun Tells FG by meedoLock(m): 3:17pm On Oct 22, 2025
If all these could be put into effect, we would have have an unprecedented kind of steady growth we are suppose to be reckon with.

Restructuring would have been done in components and not necessarily in a whole.

This is the kind of conversation I love contributing to on this platform. The usual gbasgbos is extremely unnecessary. My believe is that know ones get to choose the tribe, gender or religion they are born into. With all these in mind, We will all leave happily and proud of our Nation.

LOL pray they don't experience the wrath of Ibadan boys. Which sabo? How many are they? 😂

I really pity the innocent Kano Pillars players and I pray it doesn't happen in Ibadan cos it won't be funny. When it comes to violence I fear Ibadan and Ife boys. But that won't happen IJN, cos violence is never the solution.

The sanctions are the perfect solution, in order to prevent retaliation.
You actually took those words from my mouth, I've been looking for a way to reply him.

How would someone who is privy make an assumption that the Hausa dominated part of sabo at Mokola will precede the Ibadan people at anywhere in Ibadan.

This joke should be told in another life time... undecided

Meanwhile, let's all channel our political moves and agitating towards the overall restructuring of this country, it is only then we are going to enjoy been a Nigerian.

Liverpool wouldn't have done it better for Jota. May God repose his soul🙏
