Melagros:Well, you are right. But believe me, every person's who get into that office regardless of their good or bad intention would look crook to you one year up. That's why you someone like us seriously advocating for restructuring. I mean let's do zonal if we can't do region to start with. The bedrock is that the current system is dysfunctional and not sustainable for a country as heterogeneous as Nigeria. |
budaatum:On Local govt allocation.... I think they are yet to receive their first ever direct allocation from the center up till this moment. When they do, we Will definitely get the update.. |
DevilsEqual: |
CodeTemplar:Look more closely bro |
happney65:You are on point bro👍. Restructuring is very intimidating to an average politician, they do not want to miss their milking point for anything. |
May God bless our nation. |
Now, more focus and expectation should be put on our local govt, this is looking good. Empowering them like this assures quick community development which the citizens have been deprived long time ago. This is a preamble of how redistribution of power and wealth in our polity looks like, courtesy of restructuring. While at that, fellow Nigerians, let's channel more energy on the 'RESTRUCTURING' of this country. Not 'DESTRUCTION'. Not ONE Nigeria we are made to believe exist. Nigeria is too wide and complex to be run by one man sitting inside the Aṣọ Rock. It must be operated in faces not unitarily. This is the only way we could have it cool. Modified

That's just the beauty of democracy, it gives everyone equal right to lawfully do and undo. As silly and alien as this shows sound to an African, the players have every right to hold it....... While at that, fellow country men, let's channel our energy on just only one agenda of restructuring' this is the only agenda that will bring succor to all our grievances. Let's stop playing to the gallery all the time.. Best regard... |
Can we have this moved up please? 🙏 |
As a fairly religious person who is only concerned about his personal connection with God aside from the peripherals, when I see the way we worship nowadays compared to the way our fathers in the past worshipped, I'm of the opinion that we have been bewitched or duped with our own ways in lieu of the foreign ways. Yet, we still don't see this as one of the things that hinders our rapid growth, we have been brainwashed to erect many places of worship and not plenty factories where everyone can do something meaningful for their lives. Note that I do not belong to the school of thought that "religion is a scam" but our mode of practicing it is what I have problem with. Now, the big question is that "what happened to Africa religion"? Pls read below (copied) and let's brainstorm over it👇 mall As an African, you travel to Israel to pray on a wall. This is called pilgrimage and you automatically earn the title of JP. As an African, you travel to Saudi to pray on a black stone. This is called Hajj and you automatically earn the title of Alhaji. As an African, you travel to your own Ancestral home or village where you were born to pray on Stone, River, Tree, or any symbolic spiritual statue in your home, this is called Pagan.ism and tagged as Fetish, Dem.on!c and Devi.lish. Your comments on this..

Let china breathe abegi ![]() |
Kingrshd3:This virginity of a thing this guy carry around sha! Hope u will be ready to marry your daughter off as early as 18 years of age before she could be sampled out? Considering the days societal order, that's the only means you could marry her off as a virgin. The world has moved beyond all of that now. Whats important is marrying someone who love you wholeheartedly and who will be ready to go down rough part with you.... |

BabbanBura:I swear!! I don't know how people can live with such poisonous secret. |
AngelicBeing:Trouble man ![]() |
Do we have people with secret like this here?. Abegi take them to your grave ![]() |
I would have said "fear woman" but things like this are not peculiar to gender. Human being will always perpetuate ridiculousness. Irrespective of the gender ![]() This is actually from a Twitter page and I've been short of words since I read it ![]() I want to share my little anonymous secret. I was 32 when I met my husband. He was almost 37 and single. He didn't really seem like a man of my type, but I was a bit desperate. I needed to settle down. He is not really fluent in English and acts a bit barbaric, not how I imagined my future husband. He's a plumber, and he gets a lot of work. He travels often, but he is home most of the time, too. I wouldn't have agreed to marry him if I was young, though I would have dated him because he has money and is equally generous. He is a nice-looking man, but he doesn't dress or sound like it. A woman like me wants someone who is good-looking and knows how to dress and speak fluently as well. I really was reluctant when he brought up the idea of marriage, but I had to agree because I was 33 by then, and I felt like no better man was going to come my way. I had good men I was talking to, but none of them was interested in marriage or marrying me per se. After we married, I started hating myself for settling with such a man. We barely attended any corporate event. His friends are all local, and he is always about us doing local things. I am ashamed of him, so I don't even like staying by his side when we were out. Long story short, I got pregnant for someone else because I don't really enjoy being intimate with my husband. He turns me off because I don't find him attractive. The guy I got pregnant for is equally married. He is the one I wanted to marry before he dumped me for someone else. We dated for two years and I was madly in love with him. I couldn't handle the heartbreak, but when I realised in marriage that I'd married the wrong person, I reached out to him, and we've been intimate ever since. I'm not in love with him, I just like being intimate with him because I find him to be more of my dream man than my husband. I had my child in January last year. My husband thinks he is the father, and I am not worried about DNA because it would never cross his mind. It's the literate who disturbs women with DNA. This is a secret that would never come out because my husband is convinced the child is his, and I never told my ex the pregnancy was his. I just found out I'm pregnant again, and I don't even know which of them is responsible for this one. My problem right now is that my ex mentioned that he wished I could give him a child. He and his wife have only one child. The woman is battling with PCOS, and my ex is in need of a son badly. My first child is a boy, and it's his, but I don't know what would happen if I tell him. He can't be trusted so I fear to reveal this truth. I wish that he knows the truth and puts the child in his plans. Please, what should I do? He is richer than my husband and would give the boy a better life, to be honest. Please post anonymously and let your audience advise me, thank you. No judgements please. |
slimjohn2k5:Lol. Not easy bro. But there are times U get to stay away from all this inconveniences to clear your head and think straight. |
squash47:Lol. You are right, but I think the common order is men dieing right before their wives. Also right, that long life is nit peculiar to longevity, but once must enjoy the luxurious while it last |
ForValour:You are right, a whole lots of responsibilities hanging on men from parents down to your own family. |

Happy weekend to yà all✌️ |
Saw this on X and feel like sharing with ya. Just a lesson for men to adopt the culture of looking out well for themselves as well as they do for families. This life cannot be duplicated. Once the soul leaves the body, no one has ever been able to tell us what happened next. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Elumelu's mom is 96 years. Otedola's mom is 102 years. Jonathan's mom is 87 years. Saraki's mom is 88 years. Yaradua's mom is 98 years. Dangote's mom is 89 years. Where are their fathers? Long gone in most cases. Food for thought, guys! Treat yourself well, they will survive without you. Change or upgrade your wardrobe every 2 years Feel good and look good Reconcile with any known enemy Call your friends on phones every day during work and after working hours. Listen to good music Live a day at a time Call me if you don't have a friend, I will bridge the gap, I hope i’m talking sense to you? Enjoy night and sleep tight. A blessed weekend to you. Copied as received and seen on WhatsApp broadcast. Summarily... Men please try not to die, biko mbok e jo.

But do you think VN could be as worse as unexpected Video Call? As in, the perpetrator do not want to know if you are naked, on bike or in an utmost awkward state. What happens to asking before bringing on the video? That's the height of all absurdities for me!! 🙄 |
As hard as this is difficult to accept, our govt are largely at deficient here in safeguarding our interest against all external forces. No citizen is at liberty to seek redress against this kind of abnormalities because the govt sees the Chinese, Lebanese and a host of foreigners trading here in an upright position. How do you explain the atrocities going on in all their manufacturing facilities without been checked? We've read alot of it here and other news outlet stating their poor working condition and poor wages provision. Has their excesses being checked? Has labour forces stood up to interfere on behalf of millions of Nigerians who had no other means but to continue working in such deadly condition to survive. But they are withing scope of operations in govt books once their dues are paid. I see this going on indefinitely until common sense prevails. |
