The ability to place oneself in another man's shoes is what empathy is about. This feeling pushed me into opening this thread. Earlier today, a thread hit front page showing some youths from the Northern part of the Country in joyful display of wealth. Going down the comments, I saw many people calling them "CHILDREN OF THIEVES". That to me is a great insult especially to those of them whose wealth are genuine whether inherited or self made. I am in no way supporting the looting habits of our politicians, but, you that is calling them thieves, are you clean? I felt the insult when I put myself in their shoes. Now I understand why most politians hide their children. It HURTS TO BE LABELLED 'SON OF A THIEF' Men! Let's face it, which Nigerian youth will reject such inheritance (wealth) if they were the ones. Nigerians and hypocrisy are APC/PDP and corruption. My Arewa wealthy young compatriots, I rejoice with you guys! If Nigerian youths are celebrating Momphy, Hush puppy, Internet money, etc, I now ask, WHY THE ENVY ON THIS YOUNG Millionaires? Please note, I am not a Muslim, neither do I claim to be a politicians son. What I wrote here is my opinion which I am entitled to. |
False teachers and influencers everywhere! The end Jesus Christ forearmed us is finally here! Thank God I know the truth |
Great |
Even after taking me to your private blog, you are still asking me pay to continue reading! Nawa oh I must confess, I would have willingly paid the token only if I could see you. I am not making any e-payment for that amount ![]() |

Words of wisdom: "Don't ever tell a fellow man he can't do anything"; many have gone because of such comments. Op, am surprised that a married man could be acting as you are doing. You are engaging a faceless person in a counter threat even when your details are there and his is no where to be found. Nawa oh! |
Envy and hatred everywhere! I am always tempted to join the group of people who insult the Kanu guy but the truth in me would not. On a more serious note, how was he able the escape Nigerian military that fateful day? May God deliver us from hatred so we could begin to think critically and intelligent ly like humans. NIGERIA IS DOOMED!!! THE SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE |
chatinent:This racked me up. You are a clown bro |
It is either this tribalists/racists are poor and frustrated or timid locals who never got exposure outside the enclave. I can't never believe that an educated/civilised person can be deeply immensed in tribal hate as this op. Please note that attending any Nigerian University does not necessarily mean one is educated. |
Aisha my person! Up you Mam! |
Dear Aisha Buhari, If what I and some Nigerians are thinking is true, (that you have gallantly succeded in wrentling power from the cabal who hitherto highjacked your husband's office) then I must say a big congrats Ma. You must not waste time to start the process of recovering your husband's bartered image. Use your influence to change all the anti masses policies of the cabal, reverse the nepotic trend that has held sway since 2015. The list is just too many to mention here. I know a popular adage that feminists like to quote a lot "what a man can do, a woman can do..." I am bringing this adage to drive home my point, (I don't in any way believe this adage) because that seems to be (in my opinion) what is currently playing out in Nigeria. I personally like the wife of president Buhari, she seems to have a good heart and loves the masses. The recent appointment of a new chief of by president Buhari has and is still receiving applause and amazement from different quarters. It goes to confirm (in my opinion oh) that a new power brokers ( or cabal) has risen or is rising in Aso Rock. If the late chief of staff and his cabal members can rule Nigeria using Buhari's name, what stops Mr President's legal wife from doing same (especially when she seems to have Nigeria's interest at heart)? Let nobody tell me we didn't elect her because I can't remember anybody voting for the late chief of staff and his men. What I have written above is my opinion, each person is entitled to his. |
I am a lover and teller of truth. The truth is that E-money's escort will be increase from six to may be ten in the coming week. The spiritual control the physical, and there are some men irrespective of their age, who have acquired power to rule in this world. To amass wealth in this world, you must bow to either God or Satan. If you don't believe in God or Satan, you can only rise to certain level |
Something in me just like Aisha Buhari, I don't know you personally Ma,but I just have this feeling you are a kind hearted woman who loves Nigeria. Aisha led canal is going to make sense sha |
Airforce1:There is an adage among a particular tribe in Nigeria that says "if a poor is told what it takes to be rich, he will prefer to remain where he is" All this ignorant people that wish everytime to be like E-money, I laugh at their ignorance in swaheli. Lol! Lol! Lol! and finally lol! |
MinorityOpinion:As a lover of truth, I hold you in high esteem in this forum (though you sometimes manifest 'racism') but with what you wrote up there, I am tempted to change my mind. Like serious, are you a paid agent here? How can you ignore your reservoir of truth (conscience) and be spreading lies. So, the Igbo speaking Rivers state will choose Nigeria in place of "Biafra"? Bros abeg, other tribes know that Nigeria will be gone should Igbos be allowed to go! That is the SIMPLE TRUTH, please deal with it. I AM A LOVER OF TRUTH |
TheRareGem1:I am a lover of truth and I hate to live in self denial. I will tell you in all honesty that what you stated above is the truth. Igbos can only rule Nigeria by accident. But mark this: this same denial of Igbos will destroy Nigeria. Mark my words, this country will SINK. This is the truth many people refuse to ACCEPT. I repeat, Nigeria will not SURVIVE as it is currently structured |
My observation as a Lagosian. Yorubas are naturally nice people expecially when you are humble and respectful. I have also observed that Yorubas are two groups based on the religion they practice. One group flow freely and also inter-marry with the Igbos, but the other group tend to share great animosity towards the Igbos. I don't know why anyway. But I think it has to do with religious differences |
tatatar:My brother this is really serious! I fear for the future of this country. If nothing is done about this Nnamdi Kanu guy and his agitation, he will messed Nigeria up big time |
StaffofOrayan:Bro you cracked me up full time! Pls stay safe this period |
MinorityOpinion:Sorry for the way the article appears. However, throwing insults is an attribute of low minds. Your insults did not change the facts. Your are either one of those paid agents or one of those adult kids here spewing hatred and division. Stay safe all the same |
Marine54:Anyone who passed comprehension in WAEC and JAMB would not struggle with that sentence. However, I have modified it! One love bro |
[quote author=Nigeriabiafra80 post=89140261]Federal government Sue Nnamdi kanu now Topic corrected[/quote Thanks bro! Modified |
Marine54:You sound like one of those suspected paid agents I mentioned in the post. Well, people do anything for money even in advance countries! Keep staying safe bro |
This lockdown has forced me to start commenting on nairaland. I have been an old member of this forum but hardly comment. I come to nairaand upto four times each day since I joined the forum in 2013 to read news, comments and laugh about the funny ones. I also believe there are thousands (if not millions) who don't comment like me. Back to the main topic. I had a shocking experience on the evening our dear president gave his last speech on covid-19.While the presidential broadcast was on, I had walked into a woman's shop whom I respect so much. To my amazement, this woman (she has no business with IPOB or whatever) asked whether I observed anything from the "so called Buhari" I didn't understand her vividly as I simply responded "That's Mr President addressing us na". The woman laughed strangely as she insinuated that's not the Buhari she knew. This happened in Lagos. As I left her shop, I went into deep thinking. People (in the south especially) are gradually beginning to believe Nnamdi Kanu's stories (whether real or fabricated). That was not the first time I have heard non Igbos in Lagos saying the same thing. NOW MY POINT IS THIS: Why is FG keeping mum and allow Nnamdi KANU embarras our president with such weighty allegation? At least a whole Nigerian FG has the resources and connection to get KANU banned on social media permanently for spreading false information. Could the so called 'cabal' actually be hiding something? Honestly, intelligent Nigerians are beginning to suspect the whole story. I also observed that there seems to be some people who are paid on nairaland to USE INSULT AND ABUSE to silence kanu's voice. This strategy is not working and will never work (it can only work for the unintelligent ones). How can a man somewhere over the years be insisting that a whole president of Nation is dead and replaced with a body double and the FG keeps quiet? PLEASE DON'T TELL ME HE IS INCONSEQUENTIAL because all smart Nigerians know he is not. There are many things Nnamdi KANU had said which nobody believed but they later appeared to be true. One of such examples is his insistence that our beloved VP has been sick, and real and truelly, the Osibanjo I saw yesterday looked sick indeed. Honestly, I never took this Nnamdi KANU serious, but right now, I can't believe what I am thinking. Nigerian Government should use her influence to block KANU for dishing out lies if they are TRUELY sure he is lying. Believe me, people are begining to believe this guy. Using derogatory comments to dismiss his allegations is becoming STALE. |
Honestly this Nnamdi KANU is beginning to scar me. He knows a lot |
I was so happy seeing my beloved Osibanjo yesterday on channels TV. That man is a lover of mankind. Sadly to me, the VP looked sick |
If Facebook, Twitter and Instagram fails to ban Nnamdi KANU in the coming days over this his claim of "an IMPOSTOR FROM SUDAN IN ASO ROCK" the way they banned Aunty Kemi, then one may be tempted to begin to dig deep for some elements of truth in this allegation. Calling KANU names is no longer selling, Federal Government should use her connection |

Honestly speaking Nnamdi KANU should be banned on social media if he is truly spreading false information against Nigerian President. Honestly I was filled with joy seeing beloved Osibanjo on screen via channels TV this evening. Thank GOD for his recovery. TRUTH BE TOLD, He looked sick and recuperating |
