I have a domain name with a Nigerian Registrar. I joined Afternic last year but my DNS points to DAN. I may have listed the name on Afternic. I got mail from Afternic about fast transfer and later got mail from Fast transfer saying they are linked with Afternic, they are asking me to transfer my domain name to Afternic and have given me a code I should use for that.
What does this mean, please?
Is my name about to be bought?
Is it safe to transfer as asked?
I'm to do this within 15days.

Do you intend changing the landing page to Afternic? If yes, continue with the process. If NO, don't stress yourself. That's a normal mail from Aftetnic if you have a name with them. All my names are on DAN DNS and all are listed on Afternic fast transfer. If you make sales, Afternic will inform you and request more info. Don't stress yourself bro.

Crypto is the best. Binance is what most of us use due to P2P for easy cashout in Naira. I'd advise you do that ASAP. You can as well watch YouTube to understand how it works.

Well, if the domain is sold big, transfer is usually the safest form because you will generate a code but push to me is much faster. No stress

We have Federal Universities of Agriculture.

I believe lots of graduate from such institutions have nothing doing in the civil service. Upon graduation, give them an acre of land in their preferred choice .give them access to at least 5M loan with their certificate and a 7yrs bond not to travel out of the country for greener pastures even after the loan has been paid. It will provide jobs to the locals, NYSC Agric grads & IT students will have easy placement .

They all have different area of specialisation. Before we know, all staples will be abundant in the market. The only infrastructure needed is a storage of excess for future purposes. But the government has never been sincere. They give agriculture loans to politicians and their cohorts who know nothing about agriculture.

It is not rocket science. It is just the political will to do the right thing.

Your view is another idea to boom agriculture. Lots of such around but our old motor just believe in looting without anything to show for it. It sucks.

A Funny Story

Let me just drop this sales report because of the story behind it.

So I gave a scrapper 4 domains to get end users for me. He came back and asked me to replace one of those domains because the tool he was using for the scrapping can't work for that particular domain's country.

I replaced it with the domain in the screenshot below. A geo I bought in 2019 (renewed 2020). Did several outbounds but didn't sell.

He sent the Enduser list for that particular domain, and the number of Endusers was less than 20 (after removing duplicates and all that).

I outbounded to more Endusers last year than the small list he was giving me. I even used FAX for outboud.

Anyway, because the list was small, I started with that.

And it sold that same day!

Maybe luck, providence, Grace, hardwork, whatever...

But the domain was quite good sha.
I even reduced the price to $199 at some point as I wanted to get rid of it.
