If you say you prefer making withdrawals through POS than ATM then it's probably cos you live in a remote village somewhere; not because POS is better.

Oga, I live in my state capital, right in the heart of town. What will make pay #200 to ATM and join a long que when I can use the same #200 and withdraw money from the nearest POS agent. We are talking about convenience and time saving here.

Commercial banks are even gaining more because they share revenue with agents . Also, they do settlement and reconciliation exercise for fintech

Commercial charges 50% of proceed charges make by agents using their POS but fintech companies charges lower than that that's why you no longer find more banks POS machines again. Moniepoint, palmpay and others had sent them out of business

People are no longer interested in using banks ATM. No need to travel long distance to ATM and at the same time get charged for withdrawals when you can comfortably make your withdrawals at any POS next to you. Commercial banks are happy they loosing out on ATM withdrawal charges thus the gang up against POS agents.
