Dozzyalive:
Good morning buddies.
I need urgent assistance concerning my Redmi 8 sudden shut down and inability to come up. The spec is 4GB, 64GB.
I bought the phone December 2019 and l must confess that it served its purpose till December 2021.
On three occasions in the month of December 2021, it switched off on its own which I usually bring on by pressing power button and volume down key together for some seconds.
Fast forward to 10th February 2022, I just woke up to find it switched off, I tried to power it by the above method but it was unresponsive. Later I took it to phone technician, after some couple of minutes, the phone came on and worked till yesterday when it switched off again. Till now, the phone is still switched off.
What is the solution to this??. I need urgent response. Thank you so much.

Just change your battery

Why ?

Jancy606:
Here,

It's an untrackable package so you'll have to wait for whenever it gets to you even though it should have reached your side since you're in Lagos, you can go to your nearest post office and tell them to track it for you

contact 08037111012 he can help u track it

This is a scam please, make nobody fall victim out of desperation

The transsion marketers don avoid this thread like plague

webxpert107:
The phone is just crazy. As you can see in the image below. The first image is the internet speed with only 1 mtn sim active. While the 2nd image is with 2 mtn sim active at the same time.

All this transion people self.

Have you tried to put the 2nd sim to 3G only

Marvel6233:
They record video in 4k. That's because of the Dimensity 900 5G chipset.

As you can clearly see only the Infinix does 4k video and it uses a very inferior generic sensor which invariably means the 4k video quality will most likely be shit and from all indications the zero 5G will be up to 170k

You can hype transsion up cause we know you're like their poster boy but don't do that by passing wrong information please.

See as this guy just roped in transsion phones with a whole vivo V23 and oppo Reno 7 pro that are flagship killers

The Tecno and Infinix you mentioned both don't do 4K video too even though their processor supports it so I'm confused as to how you're using that as a yardstick.

Come for it

Has anybody got OnePlus cable which supports warp charge for sale in Lagos?

It doesn't necessarily have to be a OnePlus cable, I have 2 extra 5A cables that warp charge my OnePlus so if you can find those you're also good to go

Please what's the best region to set your Xiaomi device, I just got a used redmi note 8pro as my first redmi phone.

I was going through articles on the web that the USA region has better fluid animations, while India has better volume output and Europe has low volume out put. So I set my phone to USA and the battery drain became worst compared to when the phone was on Nigeria region.
What's your take on this guy's?.

The region you set your phone to has nothing to do with all these things you mentioned, stay away from half baked articles

TruthUntold:
it isn't? And I was planning to buy it?

It being refurbished doesn't negate the fact that it's still in almost perfect condition.
At that price I believe you'll find better options shaa unless you have a bias for max 3
