Those are the factors that influenced my decision to settle for tecno pova 5G.

5G is not going to be available in Nigeria for at least the next 2 years so using 5G as a yardstick not to choose a phone that will give you more than twice the performance ability of the 5G devices doesn't make sense no offence

For xiaomi it’s like this (Mi>Poco>Redmi)

200k cannot get a decent xiaomi high end (Mi), that’s why I listed the high end midrange(Note and Lite)and you should save some money cause it’s cheaper than 200k. Poco have amazing phones with great performances for price, but I’m not a fan of their design, never used any. If you can up your budget to 250k, you’ll have a better selection, Mi 10 pro, S20 ultra or Oneplus 8 pro.
But the best performing chip for your budget would be s20 fe, Oneplus 8 and there’s a poco phone with snapdragon 865 below 200k as well

All these phones you mentioned are 200k or less while he/she is willing to go as high as 280k.
You also failed to mention to him that it's foreign used he'll get all those phones

Somebody bought a Helio G35 720p phone without fast charging support 89k and actually believes it's such a good deal. Literally the only thing this phone has going for it is it's 2 years of update

eh that doesn't mean companies don't declutter their working equipment every 4years. It's just that Condition has made onyinbo people to start hustling the hustle Nigerians are known for. That is going to these closure stores and warehouses to get these electronics to sell on eBay.

People make it seem like they just throw these good gadgets in the bin where Nigerians can go pick it up and sell at exorbitant fees.
The so called oyibo people no even get joy again, if you try to buy from OfferUp and loose guard those guys will scam your life
Another point is that Americans basically recycle everything now and even if they wanted to get rid of some of these stuffs it'll still recycled and not just thrown away

Once you understand specs you will realise a lot of devices are insanely overpriced, especially as they are discarded. Oyibo Enterprises get rid of laptops every 4 years or so. That is they throw them away.

The way you guys still say these stuffs we used to say when we were in primary school eehh, enter ebay now and you'll see Americans still trying to sell their 7 year old laptops at exorbitant prices.

That advert up there is a full on scam ad and these resellers and deal hunters don't make half the profits you guys think they do.

The camera hardware itself doesnt loose quality. What starts to affect the picture quality are the lens. They use inferior glasses that are prone to scratches by just being in your pocket. Minus scratches, the phones build is not air tight so dust particles, humidity & condensation affects them, then finally the softwares released are not fully optimised and affects picture quality. The last point also affects some high end phones during updates but are usually addressed.

I can assure you the generic lens that transsion products use lose quality over time coupled with the fact that there are no reasonable system updates to improve the quality over time
