I like your zeal Bro but I have a little advice for you, in addition to your zeal ensure you share your dreams and aspirations as regards the army with those people whom you know mean you well in life.
In 2016 I told the technical leader of my church about my ambition, little did i know he had a cybercafe where he had help registered a friend who eventually scaled through short service combatant and got commissioned, as at 2016 that his friend had become a lieutenant. he gave me the number of the fellow and I called him, the fellow happened to be of same tribe with me.
Guess what? he asked of my name that same night, the next day list was released with my name on it though I didn't scale through the interview.

God will grant you your heart desires and answer your prayers Bro.

Forget such, it's not used at any phase of the process. From the registration to the board interview, nobody ask or demanded such from me in 2016.

Your university degree certificate is all the confirmation that anyone anywhere needs as a proof that you attended the said institution. all they need do is to confirm it's authenticity.

I'm a university graduate, I applied for the Nigerian army recruitment and wrote the exam, now my name is shortlisted among the successful candidate to come for the zonal screening. ..of which after the zonal screening, the successful candidate will be taken to the Nigerian army army depot in Zaria immediately without coming back home...
should I attend it?

(1)Adding unnecessary weight would dither ur breathing rate and endurance rate,i believe in fitness,forget body size.u dont wanna compare a sport bike to range rover sport#tested# so use ur body as u c m get wetin ur want.
(2)change in urine colour signifies alot of tins u nid to look into,ranging from infection,unknown illness yet, and stress.Trust me u wanna have dat checked out naw,U cnt drive a car without monitoring oil colour#check urs#

Yes the officer must hail from your state. It may not be an officer. It could be your LG Chairman or LG Secretary or any public servant beyond level 13 or so.

Endurance race.
It is 3.2km in 18 minutes. After that all other exercises are easy.

The fact is that, last time 50 candidates were picked per Geo political zone..
On average each state has about 8 candidates.

The number increased when they got to camp only because SSC always leave room for Foreign country to bring their cadets too to participate.

Since the Army started doing the SSC/DSSC recruitment every 2years, the final list increased from 5 per state to 50 per Geopolitical zones and that's about 8 per state.

According to those who passed out last year they did not expel anybody during training, either on health or otherwise.

The speculation is that 5 successful candidates would be taken from each state for training as officer cadets, this does not mean that all 5 would be commissioned. Some might not get commissioned if they flout rules during training, or the authorities discovered some falsified details when the carryout background check on cadets while training is on.

P.H applicants have done their interview before now....i.e 2 or 3 weeks ago..

I think the interview ran for four days with 20 applicants for each day...

Don't just sit at home and complain about it... Go out! Meet people ! By force by fire associate with people who can help you.
Let them know how serious and passionate you are about the job.
Connection won't come to ur house to locate you.. Get the hell outa ur comfort zone and look for connection.

Start with ur immediate family. Ask them who know who. From there to ur friends, neighbors and even peer groups, Church members, mosque members.

All in all... Pray like everything depends on prayer and work hard on ur self and on ur connection like everything depends on them.

With or without connection... If you are destined to be an officer u surely will be.
