In as much as you don’t use Nigerian passport, I believe your little contribution of providing the documents requested from you by the port officials would enable people have an insight of what’s expected. No offense to you, just an observation.

In my own opinion, i don’t think the menstruation would have any impact on your test results.

Rollzmond20:
Good morning guys. Please Is it still ok to do the medicals whilst menstruating? Will it affect my results?
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by mekmolly: 12:16pm On Jan 18, 2023
I believe it’s not gonna be an issue. First, you can update the details on your immiaccount, attach a letter to explain the concept of your situation and go ahead to do you biometrics and medicals. All is gonna be well. Also let them know when you are about doing medicals and biometrics at the point of cross checking of detail and informations

val56:
Good morning guys. I just Recieved my documents to apply for biometric and medicals and found that my old passport was used to launch my visa application which expires This January. Thou I contact my agent to inform him.
What could be the implications as am supposed to resume by this February. Please the gurus in the house advice

Greetings to everyone.

All praise to Yahweh!!!

My heartfelt gratitude to “Coulson”, Mary, Joel, Aaron (well I don’t know if the three latter are on here), and everyone that have contributed/contributing positively to this thread!

Below is my own timeline/quota/Contribution

School - RMIT
Program - Health Science (PhD)

7/12/2022 - lodged in my visa application

12/12/2022 - medicals

4/1/2023 - Received s56 receipt (Case Officer asked for evidence of current location).

16/1/2023 - Received Grant.

Note:
No biometrics
Reason - Mainland China is not among the countries listed on the biometrics collection program. Although I called and emailed DHA (department of home affairs), and was instructed to attach a letter to my immiaccount regarding the situation.

“ If you are resident in a country not listed on the biometrics collection program, be rest assured that it can be waived.”

Shalom!!!

Please house, my agent is requesting for 450,000 just for visa fee, so I that I can proceed for my medicals and biometric. My humble question is how is the current visa fee in AUD and feasible fee to be paid in naira? Matter of urgency thanks guys
The current fee for visa application is 620Aud. In my own opinion your agent is charging you high

Yes, Australia Visa from the Uk ( if you reside in the UK) does not need a biometrics as UK and Australia share data. Did mine without biometrics.

TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by mekmolly:
What type of degree are you going for (I.e. MsC or PhD) and also did you state both admission and scholarship on your application.

If yes, then just bear it in mind that the time frame may take months before a consensus is reached.

How long does it take to get an offer from Western Sydney university?

Applied since late August and till now no communications yet

Also applied to the university of Newcastle and I have recieved some communications requesting for more documents which I have provided.

But still.no offers yet.
This is just a rather very slow process considering the fact that I choose January /February resumption.
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by mekmolly:
With regards to PhD, the most difficult aspect or part is in getting a supervisor. Just start sending a cold email to various Professor in different schools, all you need is a single yes and the rest will be history. In addition, if you have publication or publications then your chance becomes high towards making it to the top of the list.
CLATHRIN:
Hi! I am a newbie both on this forum and the Aussie immigration application process. Been looking up a few schools there, which are the easiest to get in and how best can I attract a supervisor? I have a BsC in Biochemistry and an MsC in toxicology.

Respect, appreciate your response. jah bless

Thank you, and Amen
Others awaiting theirs will share their testimony very soon.

I applied to RMIT in July and was given admission in the first week of September.
So it took about a month and a few weeks before i got my admission.

And congratulations on your PhD program, i wish you all the best in your higher academic pursuit.

TravelRe: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by mekmolly: 6:47am On Jul 16, 2020
ugsams:
1) No specification, it applies to all level of education
2) Yes, No post study work visa
3) If you sponsored yourself then you are eligible to apply for the post study work visa and stay back.
4) You have an obligation to go back. I only heard about a Cameronian who got asylum due to the crisis back home. I also learnt of a guy from Botswana who was willing to pay back the scholarship money and still had his post study work visa denied.

Thanks for the heads up bro @ugsams
But have you heard about any case of someone that came with scholarship being granted study or resident permit as a result of marriage.
TravelRe: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by mekmolly: 7:26am On Jun 25, 2020
In respect to what baba Femi said that one is not allowed to stay back after studies on scholarship basis. Please I would like to ask some few questions
1. Is there any degree specifications to that ie phds or masters inclusive .
2. Does it mean you won’t be issued the three years working visa after your studies
3. What if the person sponsored himself and not bound by the scholarship
4. Lastly, for instance for a PhD student in health related fields happens to get a work Or for better for worse mechanism, on or before his or her studies elapses, what happens then ?
Any other person with ideas can help out as well wit the questions
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by mekmolly: 1:21pm On Mar 29, 2018
So ur saying 4.7million can cover for one's stay throughout his or her studies

There's no school that can cater for living and travel expenses, they've already given you tuition free programs. If you want to study in Norway, prepare your 4.7m for living expenses.

You can search for courses here https://www.studyinnorway.no/
