The federal government plans to create 20 million jobs to reduce unemployment in the second tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Okechukwu Enelamah, disclosed this in Abuja on Monday at a stakeholders meeting on job creation organised by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

The minister, who was represented by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Sunday Edet Akpan, said the Federal Government would create the jobs from the four key sectors of the economy: Agriculture, Construction, Transport and the Services sectors.
The minister said that with the huge level of unemployment in the country, it had become imperative to come up with a pragmatic approach to creating jobs for the people.

He said the ministry had directed the Industrial Training Fund to come up with innovative solutions to create 20 million jobs in four sectors of the economy within the next four years.

“In order to sustain and build on the successes recorded in this regard in the first tenure of Mr. President, we are articulating and strategising with a renewed impetus towards combating the twin evils of unemployment and insecurity,” the Minister said.
The Director General of the ITF, Sir Joseph Ari, said the ITF has equipped over 450,000 Nigerians with life skills and empowered all the beneficiaries with start-up kits within the last two years.

He said: “over 80 percent of these numbers today are earning sustainable livelihoods either in the paid employment or are successful entrepreneurs who are even employing others.

When Muslim women advocate for hijab and decent dressings, Christian celebrities preach celibacy and get pregnant out of wedlock or flaunt immorality shamelessly by twerking on social media or practicing feminism as against God's commandments. An Assistant Corps Marshal with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dr Kayode Olagunju, has revealed how Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka inspired his passion for road safety 30 years ago.

He took to his Facebook page to narrate his story. Read below;

[i]Professor Wole Soyinka actually inspired my passion for road safety. Soyinka is my childhood hero and mentor . An Assistant Director, a woman came to the NYSC Camp in Zaria in 1988, to sensitize Corps members to join a new organization being set up by the Federal Government, the Federal Road Safety Corps.

It was a camp for all the northern states as it was the then batch B with the Southern Camp located in Ede, Osun state. I had been invited for interrogation for certain violations of camp rules as some of us tried to test some of the restrictions.

While waiting for my turn to meet the State Director who was visiting the camp, an agitated woman that sat beside me, loudly complained that she did not have much time as she needed to recruit the corp members and return to Abuja and that she must accomplish the task as "one has to be diligent while doing an assignment involving Wole Soyinka" The mention of Soyinka drew my attention .

Of course the woman did not know why I was in the office, I introduced myself as a Camp Official and offered to help. I was actually a member of the Corp members Camp Management Committee as the Press/Sports Secretary and was popular as a cartoonist. I ended up violating another camp rules as I got the " biggler " to summon all corp members to the assembly hall, thinking it was actually a directive from the camp authority. The woman addressed the corp members and distributed the forms to interested members and I also assisted in sorting out the form and got involved in the selection.

The Assistant Director was so impressed about my involvement and so informed the Director. Funnily, when I came in, it was like "what?" Anyway my earlier "sins" were forgiven after scolding me for illegal gathering of corpers.

So, my joining FRSC was divine as I was involved from the beginning. I still joke with some of my colleagues, the Pioneers of the Corps, especially those that came from the NYSC Camp in Zaria, that I recruited them to the Corps.

I WAS SHOT TWICE IN MY BEDROOM. GLORY BE TO GOD AS I AM ALIVE TO WITNESS THIS MILESTONE. THANKS TO ALL THAT MADE FRSC WHAT IT IS TODAY. I have 3bedroom apartment I decided to give one room out for rent so that the bill will be lesser for me.... My girlfriend brought her cousin sister Juliet to rent the room,, she hv been living with me since last year November.... But there's something wrong with the girl (juliet) which I don't like,, the 3bedroom flat I got have a parlour and you must pass through the parlour before getting to the kitchen..so whenever am in the parlour watching movies or music videos this girl will walk by to the kitchen with just only pant and bra and sometimes she don't put on bra but she will use hand to cover her boobs if she sees me... I started wandering what this girl is up to... Sometimes she walk pass when am watching a romatic movie and that's tempting... It was day before yesterday, she walk pass with full unclothedness then I got angry and called her to talk, I told her if she can't be putting on clothes whenever am around she should stay inside her room and don't come out naked or half naked again... Can you imagine what this girl told me ,, out of annoyance she said whenever she's passing that I should focus on my tv not her then she left... I was surprised because I thought she never expected I was at home or maybe she thought I would be in my room...
