you guys need to stop feeling insecure. if sola thinks his mgatimgbati name is not corporate enough for the igbo nollywood, he could have ported to the yorubawood - no disute. grin grin

we have rita dominic and stella damascus as well, so zip it. awon obe ekpo.
when u begin to see ur background, the tribe u are as an obstacle to ur greatness, u are not worth to be that real man. I believed is by God grace and his hardwork that made him a star and not..... Desmond

You removed fine name like Olusola from your name because of one stupid Nollywood movies and Igbo producers. Why is he so fake like many of us? But now that you want to join Politics and need the help of the people, you quickly remember Olusola.

Why would a sane person replace Olusola with Desmond? I'm proud to have a yoruba name "Oluwatosin" I will never substitute it for anything in this world, I'm proud of my culture and where I'm coming from. Why should I be ashamed of my name because of Igbo producers? Too bad!!!
Abi oo, the likes of ayo adesanya, yemi black, bimbo akintola, were there for him as mentors. What a mediocre way of thinking!

Personal interests has long gone conflicts with national interests cos when lawmakers themselves are not the doers of same law made by them, u begin urself that must we play politics with everything at the expense of the citizenry waiting for projects to better them? May God help us ni o

well, even the so called technocrats with proven years of hardwork in our parastatals are coming up with policies that are not favourable to the masses. While in this our present times we've seen leaders presumably not so intelligent but are people's choice!

Politics / Fayemi; #2.5 Billion Ekiti Goverment House Is The Least In Nigeria by Melancholy(m): 4:16pm On Oct 13, 2015
When the former governor of Ekiti state kayode fayemi was before the senate this afternoon for the screening as part ministerial nominees, Fayemi reacted to the question of building state house with huge sum of money during his tenure by saying " when i became the governor of Ekiti, the state house was more like 2 bedroom flat apartment but when i went to my brother former gov of akwa ibom and to kadunna i know what i saw. The cost incurred in Ekiti state house is one of least in nigeria which i know u all can attest to". And there was absolute silence in the house. But should our states house take so much from the govt coffers? PMB should teach our politicians how to operate a lean govt. Thanks
Nairaland / General / Please, What Says Ur Time? by Melancholy(m): 4:20pm On Oct 12, 2015
"What says your time please mister?" was what a lady asked me on my way to work this morning which got me cos i had hardly took time to go repair this wristwatch even though the distance of that man who repairs it is a throw-stone to where i live. The lady's request reminds me of how many weeks i had been putting the wristwatch on which i rarely looked at except i hit it on something praying for it not to get damaged. This now beg the question of 'why cant u repair something u cherised? Based on my extrapolation, cos i also throw same aforementioned question at people and discovered that it is becoming generic among nigerians which we never see as a big deal consequently earn us some embarrassments cos either their phones were shut down or stucked in their pockets especially when in a public bus at that time made them gawked at that big fashionable wristwatch whilst remained dumbfounded. So nairalanders, pls what says ur time?! Lolz

Music/Radio / In The Spirit of Independence, Which Artiste Is The Naija Ambassor Of All Time? by Melancholy(m): 8:22pm On Sep 29, 2015
Another independence is right here with alot of wishes for this great country hoping that years to come will experience change in all ramifications. Hey, some messengers has revive that lost hope of ours through their music, hence made us patroitic at one time or the other despite the leaders selfishness but still believing for that better day! The question would be, whats ur favourite among these 3 songs; Soundsultan- Motherland, Jjc- Gba o, Ty bello- Greenland. #InTheSpiritofIndependence_NAIJA@55

The only course I wouldn't advise even my enemy to go for is any course in faculty of education except he or she has passion for education.
As for the debate BTW unilah Acturial science and yabatech banking and finance, any day anytime I will favour Acturial science cos with Acturial science you can still do your masters in banking and finance in unilag. With your HND in banking and finance, you have very limited options in masters and cannot even further to PhD.
