My uncle got 1year tourist visa this morning together with his 2 kids under short stay. He scheduled 10days trip for Easter and requested for multiple entries. Though he’s a frequent traveler to Schengen countries and his last France visa was 6 month. The children are first time traveler.
So it’s possible to get 1 year tourist visa under short stay.

Hello Gentlesoul, its very Simple.

Planned date of arrival and departure is for the Immediate trip which you are going for . Eg 9th April to 18th April 2022.

In the coming year here means any travel plans for 2022 to France that you may have already planned ahead.

If you haven't made any Concrete plans yet for the year you stick to 1.

Your Travel intention stays should be clearly requested for in your Cover letter.

2. While Planned duration of stay in number of days is differently question entirely? This is where we will enter the total number of days of our stay in the Schengen area right? If we are planning several consecutive stays, we will calculate the total number of days of our different stays. The duration of stay must not exceed 90 days per half-year right ?

3 Number of entries requested Column: we put Multiple entry right ?

4 Enter the number of stays that you are planning to make in France for the coming year. We will also calculate number of days we wanted to stay for the coming years as we did the previous one?

5. While each stay is considered as One trip which may be single or multiple entry

The flight reservation you will submit to VFS...

If you are staying for 2 weeks and you bought a one month insurance then your flight reservation from lagos to france to the US to lagos should show you are staying in france for 2 weeks. If it doesnt tally , the VFS staff vetting will request for a new one.

Your hotel booking should also show 2 weeks stay.

Flight Reservation Example

LOS- CDG - 7th- 21st
CDG - JFK - 21st - whenever you are staying
JFK - LOS- you decide.

Dont mix it up.

Please buy 1 month travel insurance.. i believe your flight routing is spaced for a month. VFS will vet it first, save yourself the hassles...

Arrange your Document

1. CAC
2. Personal and Business Bank Statement.
3. Tenancy Agreement
4. Flight reservations with correct arrival and departure dates. Make sure it same as filled on the form.
5. Hotel reservations ( Go to Expedia)
6. Property document if any
7. Cover letter stating your plans.
8. Family Proof. If you are single attach Pictures of your family back home.
9. Copy of your US visa
10. NIN if any
11. Evidence of Personal and Company Tax .
12. Evidence of Some Business transactions.
Anything else to support your application like Pension, treasury bills etc. TIES....

The form is easy to fill but dont mix up the information.
