wadetaw202: If you have any knowledge of the bible, you would have left the church of your jet-flying pastor and return to the catholic church. I mean, what do you hope to gain from a man, who studied theology for 3 months? Nothing other than nothing. That is where we differ, there is only one authority I follow, the holy scriptures..I make it a point of duty to go through passages everyday with different translations to get a better grip of the word..I will never look up to a pastor, priest or pope for they are all fallible.. King James Bible This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; Hebrew 10:16 King James Bible What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1st Corinthians 6:19 No earthly congregation in buildings or 'churches' will grant you salvation.. For every true believer and doer of the word of God IS a living walking church..you deicieve yourself if you think that studying theology for donkey years grants one authority in the things of God.. 1st Corinthians 13:1-5 made it known that one can: -speak in the tongues of angels -have the power of prophecy and understand all mystery and knowledge -give goods to the poor and even give his body for a burnt sacrifice AND still not have the holy spirit in him! |

wadetaw202: Yeah, you deserve even a cvrse. You people claim to be close to God; you all claim to be pentecostals, but you even lack knowledge about what Pentecostal really means. You all condemn the catholic church, but your comments show that you all lack basic knowledge about Christianity. It is clear all you know is what your pastors tell you or what you hear from others on the street and not what you got by personally studying the Bible. It is disgusting to see stvpidity in individuals who claim to be better than others. Yeah, you pentecostals are empty headed... You really are. Many of you are just ordinary plastic chair warmers and nothing more. If YOU actually study your Bible, you would have a rethink in a lot of doctrines you practice in your church..instead of swallowing what your cathecist and priest feed you hook line and sinker.. |

Now an Igbo person is trying to show 'faith' in this government by standing with Buhari you are driving him away! So what exactly is the problem? The moniker you quoted has been psychologicaly traumatized by the fury of the sons of Dan fodio.. He is only venting his frustration the only place he can. Pay him no heed. |

At least I know. What of you who Dont even know? You are far worse.
Imagine you misquoting the Bible while praying. The devil will just laugh at you and give you demonic slap on the spot.
Like I said earlier, you lack knowledge and you are a half baked fuul. You just open your stinking buccal to comment nonsense. Where did you see anyone making the pope an intermediary?
Why not shut your stvpid mouth up instead of further displaying your stvpidity and emptiness?
One thing is certain: many of you so-called pentecostals are very empty....your comment just showed you are one of them. I read your posts and I read the posts you replied and I must say YOU do not practice what you preach.your post has more vile, bile and insults than the post you quoted..all I have been seeing on your replies are 'stupid, fuulish, empty head' and so forth.if I happened to be an unbeliever, I know whose words to listen to..definitely not the one filled with anger and venom..oya rain the insults on me too. I care less. |

And yes, if you insult me, I'd report the mod. Nairaland Rules doesn't state that you cannot insult the (ex)president. What it prohibits is insulting a fellow nairalander. No one gets more insults here than President Buhari and I've never seen you call anyone to order for so doing- heck, if anything, I'm damn sure you "like" such comments. Perhaps those who insult him are "miles ahead of him".

adanny01: Dont you find it strange that Nigeria depends on import for food and without forex, we have food shortage? Is it not a disgrace.
You think a president like Mogabe ia all bad, because he let them suffer instead of openning the borders for every Tom, Jack and Harry to dump anything he wants and the people would just accept.
Nigrians have devrloped too much of a tase for foreign products that we killed local production making us entirely dependent in forex. If you think you know economics, you show know that its better to produce at home. Since we dont want to do it ourselves, the president took a stand. Fix ourselves or die. Is that the true story? That the local manufacturers closed shop because Nigerians "developed too much taste for foreign products".... When the government couldn't give them power for over 40 years, when the price of petrol kept soaring up...and you turned around to blame the victim? Who do you think you are deceiving? nnachukz: it is amazing how some people who claim to be intelligent and non partisan keep shouting 16yrs of decay as if Nigeria started existing just 16yrs ago. Buhari, Abacha and the rest of our past leaders both military and civilians contributed to our present predicaments and I must tell you that buhari is not doing any better now. APC jaz used on you and your type will never allow you to notice that. They have already conditioned your mind to think that Nigeria started 16yrs ago. I put it to you that Anybody who uses that 16 years bullcrap was born in the 90s..it is only such juveniles that will get sold on that mediocre excuse..Nigeria has always suffered power blackout since her independence, she has witnessed violent massacres and religious unrest for decades.. The first coup was carried out on the basis of corruption by the political class of the day..even buhari ousted shagari based on the allegation of corruption..IBB did the same on buhari...so anybody who says our problem started 16 years ago is a LIAR..ironically, 2 of the men who ruled the country 30-40 years ago have come back for round 2 tells you a lot about the Nigerian people. |

MWTH: You are very correct my brother.
I kept saying this during the campaign period that the only thing that strives excellently well in Nigeria during elections is to use lies, false claims against the incumbent. APC saw this as a very formidable tool and they used it to gain power. Unfortunately, PDP and GEJ were busy working instead of also countering all these claims head long for Nigerians to see the truth. Well, your conclusion leaves me with the needed consolation. No matter how the lies being told is believed, the truth will someday come to bear. Yea Jonathan's administration underestimated the gullibility of the masses..they were thinking that their works will speak for them, while their political opponents were going about on the media planting seeds of misinformation to the less informed populace (a weakness of GEJ administration)... Even Amaechi(after becoming a minister) confessed to not being aware of the massive railway projects, a whole governor?! So you can imagine the awareness of the common man.why do you think states like anambra are beginning to show their achievements on the media? The media is a powerful tool in the hands of politicians..a lesson GEJ learnt late... |

Meanwhile if he succeed which some people don't pray for, they will be so bittered. According to a source, Innoson company has been sustaining the NAF fighter jets with needed spare parts in their fight against the insurgents. If the govt gives this company the needed support in terms of patronage in a very short time Africa and indeed the world would feel the impact. Well said! The irony of it though is that the government will drag it's foot in doing so and even if they do,the people who it is for their own good will castigate and try to malign the brand (as is evident on this forum)..and tomorrow they will start wailing and gnashing their teeth at how things don't work in Nigeria.
