Let the trial begins. typical! selective amnesia in full throttle..God should punish Obasanjo who handed over to a civilian rule but bless buhari who took the people's mandate by force, thereby throwing us decades back to military regime (in which abacha and buhari as his petroleum minister siphoned trillions that is still being recovered 20 years later?) gerrarahere mehnn! |

fatahtalks: We hv many educated illiterate in Nigeria. Islam allows a man to marry 4 wives if he has d means. The fact that the northerners in Nigeria hv abuse the process doesn't mean marrying more than one wife is bad. If u hv the means of given them shelter, education etc. Islam is against having Almagiris, u r can't gv birth to kids u can't take care of and u say Islam ask u to do dat. Wen u go to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates. U will realise they hv fewer children compared to our northern broda's in Nigeria. Pple r quick to condem polygamy yet dey find homosexual normal. Many married men hv mistresses out there marriage yet they laugh at pple with more than one wife. Most of d prophets of God had more than one wife. Let's go n read n be educated abt d topic b4 commenting. It's a personal decision no body shld mock or look down on pple that do it. That's my take you made some valid and honest points. But atleast you agree that it is being abused by a lot of northern muslims...so what are the leaders, the elite class, the enlightened ones among them doing to sensitize the unenlightened populace on the disadvantages of marrying more wives than you can cater for?? or don't they know that the masses look up to them?? |

I have a feeling Boko Haram will not die completely, until the Core North fully embrace modern education, and ban completely kids of school age roaming around the street , with a commission established to strictly enforce it. 25 million you say? and people keep asking "boko haram no dey finish?" when they have 25 million naive and vulnerable children to use for their diabolical agenda.. |

StOla: Buhari was minister of petroleum under IBB? Tell me tory.
Buhari was accosted by reporters at an Abacha memorial event, and asked about Abacha looting the treasury. Buhari simply gave a diplomatic yet factual answer that Abacha was never convicted for any such theft.
A very apt answer considering he was a private citizen who was present at that very event on the invitation by the Abacha family. first, did you even read the post you replied? where did it say buhari was minister under IBB? the trademark selectivity of APC apologists? stop trying to be clever by half, did abacha siphon trillions of naira accrued from crude oil? Yes.Was buhari the petroleum minister then? Yes...how convenient of him to be "diplomatic" when it came to Abacha's loot...could it be because it will also smear his saintly facade as the then petroleum minister? |

GEJ/NOI came up with the idea of saving the revenue from excess crude oil, they were opposed by the opposition
In Democracy, it is not about guts, but about the support you get from stakeholders.
GEJ/NOI had few supporters, also the fact that they are both from minority regions made it worse. Nigerians are 100% tribalist, it is irritating.
Buhari has the support of the North/SW, and now he is free to implement the programmes and ideas of GEJ's govt. Why the hell will he brag, insult the man and still copy his policies? a woman with wisdom, logical reasoning and common sense... |

mandax: Buhari said Abacha was not corrupt, because Buhari ran the government hand to hand with Abacha. In fact, Buhari was Abacha's first confidant, sotay, weak and ever sickly Abacha handed over to Buhari the duty of spending much of oil proceeds.
Abacha's government destroyed Nigeria's economy. Now Buhari is finding Babangida culpable for the Naira's downward value.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you.1st corinthians 6:9-11
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. Romans 1:26-28.... |

Many Abia schools have been given back to missionaries who were the original owners of the school, making the state expenses for running state schools cheap, thus, bringing about better funding for schools. Privates schools are only given blueprint for minimal requirements and I tell you, they are trying to compete favorably with a lot of these missionary schools... funny I was discussing this with my mum who was a former director in the ministry of education. schools like the prestigious holy rosary in umuahia and others are being given back to the missionaries..that is the way to go for our educational sector in alaigbo. |

Joevics: And what did he suggest is the way forward apart from those unrealistic ideas he suggested. During GEJ's Admin, the former minister of agriculture did a whole lot. The farmers e-wallet scheme and others were introduced, the fg then increased import duties for rice to stimulate local production et al. All those ideas have Now gone down the drain, the rice import ban has been lifted, there is no news about the farmers e-wallet fertilizers and to make it worse the ministry of agriculture got a very lower budget compared to the ministry of information at a period wen everyone is talking about diversification. Most times I wonder what if these people think. They better wake up from their honeymoon and start working instead of telling us what they can do on media everyday. a nigerian who remembers...you would think these policies were enacted twenty years ago for it to have been forgotten and discarded. |

kevoh: I'm pretty sure I have more sense (brain) than you. BVN was announced in February 2014, 1.how long did it take Nigerians and ther lackadaisical attitude to get registered on the system? 2. How many made any serious move till the deadline was announced? 3. Can a system(BVN) start working with only 10% of about 150 million Nigerians registered with the remaining 90% who want change but refused to avail themselves for registration unless a deadline is announced? By the way, who f*cking cares about who implements it? We just want a system that automatically checkmates fraud irrespective of who is at the top.YOU, GEJ and PMB should get some brains. exactly my point, they will never be punctual but if the government decided to go ahead with the first deadline they will go on the street and protests and trust the mischievous Apc to use it as another campaign point of the government's insensitivity...nigerians are like the proverbial isrealites in the wilderness, always quick to complain but never doing the right thing and quicker to forget their past. |

By your same reasoning, I hope you'd not say GEJ achieved much for Railways since rail lines were built since the 1960s and rail as a policy was started by the colonial masters.
SMH I am sure your type were the ones who refused to do theirs early enough hence why the deadlines were postponed..lawless nigerians! and yet you ask why they were collecting money for months..I am sure if the past administration stuck to the previous deadline YOU and your ilk will be the first to carry placards and protest against them for being 'insensitive' |
