Apart from Gbagi/Gwari and some hausas of northern Nigeria with Fulani cattle rearers, the rest Nigerians don't believe in farming activities, they all believe that if they make money then they can buy whatever food they need. Reasons listed above
1. To deceive their own employees into thinking their workload is going to be reduced by the new workers.
2. Appearance of being open to external talents.
3. To let their employees know that they're replaceable
4. Someone commented to steal ideas from interview candidates. This I have always suspected.
5. Another reason I suspect is that interview notices are a very strong form of unpaid advertisements for the company. You post it one newspaper or social media page with very attractive salaries and every other media outlet, blog post and individual is copying and pasting everywhere for free.
