Leagues are point based, a marathon so you have to be extremely consistent to win it.
The champions league is different entirely, it's a knockout competition. You could lose one leg but still qualify based on aggregate or away goals...
So you see different competitions,different approach.
Like I said if Liverpool knock out ATM, they have done the job...

Comprehension is lost on some people. They saw Leicester in a post and suddenly assumed Liverpool are Leicester. Out of 25matches this seasons the rest top 3 have a win ratio of 64%,60% and 40%. Yes Chelsea sitting comfortably in 4th for 2 months now have a win ratio of 40% with 7 losses from November up till now.

You just have to look at the top 10 in the league table to know how garbage the league is. If any other team in rest top 4 leagues had Liverpool exact record this season the Epl fanboys won't care about the other positions from 2nd to 20th position or the slight margin between 3rd and 4th. They will downgrade the team and make statements that they are only good because of no competition and the rest teams are useless. Now that Liverpool are playing garbage teams weak in and weak out they suddenly care about the entire structure of the league.
