Inter, Ajax, Napoli and the likes crashed out but no, let's rather berate those that qualified...
People are always going to crash out from the champions group stage. Is that a shocker to you or what?

Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester City qualified for the round of 16, they must be a lot of farmers in the UCL...
Spurs were trashed by Bayern. Chelsea qualified on the last matchday. Even city struggled in their group. So Yes epl teams this season have struggled as well in Europe and in the league. Liverpool are only unbeaten at this stage of the season because of the farmers they play on a regular basis.

You didn't answer my question. All the other top teams in England this season has been piss poor.
Why won't Liverpool be unbeaten when they play bunch of farmers every weekend. We can see how poor they are against teams from other leagues.

You asserted that Liverpool don't have a Ronaldo and only a team with Ronaldo has managed to stop them thus if they avoid a Ronaldo led team, they'd win it.

I advise you wait until the 2nd leg is payed before celebrating, we have seen this tape one too many times...Ask Barcelona fans.
I said the only thing constant so far with Atletico in the champions is they always get knocked out by a Ronaldo team. If they can avoid a Ronaldo team then they have the advantage of going all the way. Liverpool are favourites no doubt. Big favourites but if there is any coach who can defend a one goal advantage over two legs is definitely Simeon Atleti. You all are overrating Anfield because of what they did to Barca who are poor defensively. Atletico have no problem defending.

Didn't Atletico lose a 2 goal lead against Juventus just last season?
They lost to Ronaldo. The only constant with Atletico losing a knockout tie under Simeon in the champions league is to a Ronaldo team. Ronaldo doesn't play for Liverpool last time I checked.

Give it a rest, we have seen Southampton, Watford and the likes put up good performances against Liverpool.

Cup competitions are quite different from league games. What you are implying is that Atletico are better than anything Liverpool have faced in the EPL but if we put Atletico in the EPL, I am sure they'd struggle to make second place.

All Liverpool need do is win the second well with a better margin and they're through to the next round which is all that matters and not just the result after 90mims. For a La Liga fan, need I remind you of the fortress that is Anfield?
This is the worst atletico in recent years yet Liverpool had 0 shots on target. I need to remind you that giving a 1 goal lead to Atleti is one of the worst things you can do in a game of football, cause you might as well pack up and go home. The only chance Liverpool got is if they sign Ronaldo before the 2nd leg. Not that I am ruling them out but I have confidence in Atletico qualifying.

Atletico had good opportunities to extend their lead. Liverpool had 0 shots on target. Game fell perfectly for Atletico with the early goal. They defended so well, the organisation was so good.
Atletico are the first real competitive opponents Liverpool have played in a while and they weren’t used to it. The Premier league right now is absolute garbage in terms of overall quality and nothing anyone can say can change that. Atletico put a level of performance today that the other teams below Liverpool in their current state cannot match.

In a single match I will wager any of Barca,Madrid and Atm against Liverpool. Nothing special about them.

Let's even understand the orisun of this una argument.

And if you are then kindly show us any team that has gone the entire season unbeaten both in England and Europe. From Pep's Barca, to Zidane's Madrid or Sacchi's Milan
You were told Liverpool season so far does not match the team quality nor is it a reflection of how good they are but you were forming strong head.

Liverpool lost a match under 90mins. They took a big L even though they are still favorite to win the tie. Their unbeaten league run shows how useless epl has become.

Same thing. If Psg did exactly what Liverpool are doing at the moment they will be ridiculed and the league be called a farmers league. Everyone knows the league is at the weakest it has ever been in while this season. Watch Liverpool play and you will see nothing special/spectacular in their brand of football that warrants them having 20+ point gap.
Well said. If it was in any other league the epl fanboys would have ridiculed the league and downgrade the club achievement.

How about his 99goals for Portugal?

United of that time won UCL and three EPLs in a row. City won just 2 EPLs and you were trying to tell me City had a better team. If Ronaldo did not score 30 goals in two seasons for United, there is no way he would have maintained 50 goals per season.

Ronaldo first two seasons at Madrid their were some tired legs. The team was still being built.
You are just bring up irrelevant stuffs up. Did I tell you one team was better than the other in regards to trophies won. City has scored a combined 312goals for the past 2 seasons. City create tons of chances every match and score lots of goals. Ronaldo will thrive in such a set up and bang in 60goals consistently.

United win UCL during the time. City won nil.

In the first two seasons, Madrid were still assembly their team from the old team Mourinho inherited. Players lile Diarra and Raul were still there. Not sure Alonxo had even joined.
I am not asking you for trophies won. I said put Ronaldo in the city team of the past 2 seasons and he will bang in 50goals if not more because they create tons of chances per match and their goal tally is insane. How many champions league goals did Ronaldo score in his first 2 seasons at Madrid and how many did he score later own? It's people like you that would use his first 2 seasons and say Ronaldo won't have been able to replicate his 2007/2008 form.

United that were dilly dally on Ronaldinho until Barca swept him in the last minute. This is a player the world thought for 6 months he was already a United player. We were just watching Aguero in A.Madrid. We could not pay for Moura. We went for Kagawa instead of Hazard. Ferguson was not willing to break the bank. He always had it at the bank of his mind that he got Scholes and Giggs for nothing and so it shoupd be 80% of the time. City and Chelsea were buying whole squad.

United sold Ronaldo and bought only Valencia and Chicharito. In fact one Diouf was initially schedule to join out attacking line.
You didn't answer my point. How much did United spend before they went to 3 champions league final in 4 yrs?. If Ronaldo had stayed United will attract more players and build a team to satisfy Ronaldo if they want to keep him at the club. That's what Juventus are doing right now building a team for Ronaldo to thrive.

Ronaaldo scored 18 EPL goals in his last season at United after scoring 31 the previous season. Consistency in the EPL is hard. Mau be because of the kind if defenders they prefer to buy. Huge black guys who can jump and run.

And Madrid broke bank to sign players which United would not have done.
Or maybe Ronaldo started the campaign with injury and after a summer where he wanted to leave United to Madrid but couldn't he no longer had any interest to give 100% longer.

The UCL goals are as a result of the team mates he had in Madrid. He is a great player but a tree cannot make a forest.
Let's attribute every achievement to his team mates. You will also attribute his 93goals for Portugal to the world class team mates he have. The constant with Ronaldo is that he guarantees goals, lots of them any where and any competition even with 10 sticks Ronaldo will deliver goals.

The evidence is showing in his champions league record. Why is he not able to replicate his Champions league goals in Juventus?

Even in that City team, Ronaldo will not score more than 30+ in the EPL. That City team was not as good as United of 2007-2009.
How many goals did the United of 2007-2009 score compared to the city of the last 2 seasons? With the numerous Chances city creates per game Ronaldo will be averaging 60goals per season.

How many champions league goals did Ronaldo score in first 2 seasons at Madrid and how many did he score in his latar years?

That’s not how to see things my friend. Mou changed cr7’s mentality from dribbling and scoring to direct play to goal, he made him his focal man in his counter attacking tactics, cr7 adapted to that because he is really that good. What if he remain in Man U you think Fergie will do that so that cr7 can compete with Messi in goal scoring?? Cr7 would not have seen it that way since they are in different league. E be like say you nor know Fergie and his strictness on players, person wey stone Beckham boot for training ground na go get time to change tactics because of one player.??
Very wrong my friend. During the latter part of his time with United, Ronaldo started in a centre-forward position more often under Ferguson for a short time. Even Mourinho used him as a winger untill Ancelotti brought the idea of using him as a striker which Ronaldo even said he was not comfortable with at first but then got used to it. Ronaldo scored 102 times during Ancelotti two years at Madrid including 61goals in one season.
