Ndlistic: Barring any last minute change, President Muhammadu Buhari may have picked from across the States of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory, Nigerians who will serve as ministers in his cabinet.
Recall that on September 30, President Buhari sent to the Senate President Bukola Saraki, the first batch of 21 ministerial nominees.
Also, yesterday, the President sent the names of the second batch of 16 nominees. Meanwhile, at the time of this report, the states where Ahmed Isa Ibeto (No. 19) Abubakar Bawa (No 36.) and Aisha Abubakar (No. 32) were nominated from were yet to be known. Background checks however show that both Ibeto and Bawa are from Niger State.
When contacted, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina said: “The names of ministerial nominees, the President has sent to the Senate for screening, had no states of origin attached to them. As soon as the President does that, it will be made public.”

MayorofLagos: Isnt that similar to what happened in 67?
First Yoruba warned you to wait and not rush into secession without full preparation and readiness.
Your fathers said Yorubas are cowards, we will not wait, we are ready, we are prepared,
When you invaded Midwest, Yorubas warned you to respect the rights and territories of minorities and to stay in your territory.
Your fathers responded and said Yorubas are weak, noisemakers and Biafra is coming to occupy and save Yorubaland.
Yorubas told you we are not ready and prepared for secession, we will do so at our own time and with our own might, we dont need helpers.
Your fathers grew less patient and say Yorubas are nothing but noisemakers, cowards and marched on.
When Yoruba confronted your fathers at Ore and brought out the real "noisemakers", the real "cowards" turned their backs and fled back towafds Biafra.
There was a lesson Yorubas learnt during Fulani war. We pursued Fulani as they scampered out and abandoned their camps on the outskirts of Oyo, which they had planned to invade. Everytime they would attempt to recover we opened fire on their @ss and kept on the heat until we chased them completely across Jebba and they were on the other bank of the river. Yoruba did not hold down Ilorin, believing Fulani was gone.for good judging from the damage and.loss. That error is what led to Ilorin being an Emirate. We fell back once we chased them out of our land but they regrouped and entered back into Ilorin.
After we chased your fathers out of Ore....we did not scale back...we kept on the heat till you were completely defeated and surrendered to noisemakers, cowards from SW.
So yes, you are correct, we are noisemakers and cowards.
We have dared Fulani....if dem born their father well and they know and are sure that they can face Yoruba in a war....they should try nonsense and violate the limitations given by our elders.
Its not.only Fulani that will be dealt woth....it will be a prime opportunity.to.firmly deal with all irritants on our soil, Ibo included. We have the population to handle.it, we have the resource to sustain it and we have alliances to enforce political pressures.
Fulani and Ibo....we dare you both, try nonsense. see this one beating his dry, flat chest. foolanis are about to take over ondo and you ate making noise here. When are you going to take ilorin from the gambaris? parasitic dunce! which resources do you have? has aregberascal paid or mothers salary in osun state? perpetual yoloba slave talking about fighting their Fulani conquerors. arodewilliams come and see ur amala brother'o |

advocates: [s]I stay up north as a Christian from Enugu, and it's a common knowledge that northerners are more considerate to others. Nevertheless, religion seems to be their major short coming, but beside that, they are a simple, down to earth people. I consider myself a Northerner having being given birth here.
Some good igbos can really be good if you are fortunate to find one, but not the idle ones from the stable of their caves who invade this forum as termites to create instability. Wonder where these ones come from. These are the greatest hindrance to peace and we must collectively stand to oppose. Nigeria will be great again[/s]. |

Thebachelor: Sometime today I took a bike from Mararaba junction heading to Aso. We've covered about 40% of the journey when I heard the "click click" sound of a broken chain. The okada guy stopped, inspected the bike and advised me to take another bike as his can't make the rest of the trip. After a while, one okada guy came along,I waved him down and asked him to take me to my destination. I informed him that I bargained 100 naira with the first dude so they should negotiate the price. The first dude asked him to take 60naira and give him 40naira since he(new okada guy) will cover most of the distance.
The new okada guy just looked at the broken chain and said something in hausa which neither of us ](both of us were Christians and southerners) understood.
But from his gesticulation I deduced he was asking me to give the whole sum to the first okada rider. I demonstrated to him to be sure of what he meant and he nodded in affirmation. I was puzzled at this act of kindness and generosity especially because it was geared towards a different religion and tribe. Thereafter, the Hausa, muslim okada rider took me to my destination without charge.
I put this little story up here to make you tribal and religious bigots understand something; Nigeria is not one, that may be true. But the division is not across ethnic or religious lines. The boundary is between the thieving elites] and the suffering commoners. That's why an Akpabio will be supporting a Saraki.
So before you throw jabs at that man because of his religion and tribe, understand that he is also a victim of the situation.
#GodBlessNigeria.
Lalasticlala ...help me show this to them, thanks. Did you say this just to curry favour of who exactly? Nonsense! This country is never one and will never be. Secondly you even messed up the whole thing more with the bolded. why don't you give an example like: "That's why an aregbesola will be supporting an amaechi?" Nonsense again! |
