There is no time "where it does not matter what the other has to say"

That's why we have lawyers and the judge (jury) to decide matters in court.

Artiiclebeast:
I'm closely following the Gbaja-gate case to see how it unfolds.

This is a classic case of what tribalism and nepotism beget.

Let's even assume but not concede that Gbaja, his office, and the Presidency do not know this alleged impostor and the agency he supposedly heads, how did the current supplemental budget get a line item specifically allocated to the said "non-existent" agency and also be able to get accounts set up with the CBN after vetting from the Accountant-General's office? You want to know how?

It all boils down to the alleged suspect's first and last name coupled with the language he speaks and the part of the country he comes from.

If the above wasn't the case, tell me how the conman successfully navigated one and every of the offices that should have spotted him as a phoney and raised an alarm. It got so comical and glaring that even the so-called "anti-corruption czar" the EFCC chairman was pictured hosting and conferring an award on the alleged conman.

Very shameless.

Nepotism bigotry, tribalism, etc. are all cancerous to any society that desires true equity and progress.
See the chief bigot, tribalism and nepotism champion putting on the toga of a saint suddenly. All your accusations here reeks of a deep hatred of a tribe, thereby losing its value. Physician heal thyself first of your tribal hypocrisy before accusing others of the same crime.

You are the one blinded by tribalism. Our people voted for your son to win in Lagos State, which is the president's home base, yet you are alleging that they are tribal, even though you voted 90% for his tribal opponent in your region. Maybe tribalism has a different definition to you.

Your "outrage" remains performative..
Where was the mouth when another African country, Libya was auctioning your countrymen like contraband? I certainly didnt hear Libya being called names.. that issue was quickly swept under the carpet, by various African heads of state, the media, the AU..etc

Dare South Africans say "enough is enough" though.. the likes of Seppuku crawl up from the woodwork with victim cards.. African hypocrisy disgusts me
Yet your black African brothers are the least educated black Africans on the continent. And not only that, majority are drunkards, always loitering around shebins - drink joints, economically backward, with little or no ambition to better their lives. So why wouldn't you envy Nigerians who are highly ambitious, always hustling for better opportunities across the world?

Lets call spade a spade. All what most of you want to hear is negative news about Nigeria so that you can masturbate on it .

You said she isn't lying but Nigeria is a multi ethnic country and this bandit kidnapping had been mostly happening in the North but Northerners are not protesting its when they came to the SW that everyone start making noises and the whole nation start becoming security concious .
The North only protest on religious issues and the SE only protest for NK.
Common sense should tell every Nigerians that this is national issue .
You yourself , do you want to say you are not aware of the tension of protest sporadically occuring in SW? Or is it the constant profiling of any Fulani sightedge anywhere in SW ?
I don't expect that xenophobic ingrate to know the efforts citizens in Nigeria are actually making since she has her own agenda. The Acrophobia in SA concerns Nigerians. Thats why we criticize it. The world is a global village.
My issue is whats your own agenda?
The monicker you are quoting is a South African Ninja on Nairaland, always hitting and hating on Nigeria issues.

You see that is where you are wrong. Your assumption of me as a tribal defender is not only false but sort of proves my point regarding the Nigerian education system ethos. You concluded out of your far fetched assumption that I must be Ibo to point out a derogatory statement towards someone whom I hold no affiliation with suggests to me you are the one being tribalistic here.

Let me clarify. I am Yoruba. Balls to Bones. I am not even your average Yoruba lagosian. Omo Ondo Paraku ni mi. I have nothing against the man Obi nor his ambitions even if I don't agree with him, a reasonable person knows how to critic on the bases of factual information rather than resorting to the ethics of character bashing, on something that doesn't even in any way has a relatable connection between two grounds. Man carry drug, Dem arrest, then Obi should focus on that instead of pursuing his own right as a citizen to contest for a presidential seat. Just sounds very mediocre to me and I reserve that opinion.

While NL these days seems to be more tribal centric, and even the nation and citizens at that, it is still the duty of the few reasonable ones remaining to make sure the state doesn't deteriorate further. So no, I'm not being tribalistic, simply pointing out an out of context and lack of indepth contribution of thought to public spaces by people who see every means as a way to blab about the most shallow part of their mind on others as an opinion base on illogical and irrational observations.
"Even the drug dealing man arrested is at least doing something with his life which I will belief it is far better than you and your newspaper bus stop reading mentality".

I have nothing else to reply you with than the above excerpt from your root post saying a drug dealing man is doing something great with his life than a man living a crime free life just to defend your political mentor Obi. It shows that you are criminal minded man, and as we are of different character trajectory, and I therefore have nothing to argue further with you.

And as for you being an "omo Ondo paraku", any person can claim any fake personality on the internet, which means you can be assuming what you are not, how am I to know?

That is one of the reasons... once I become the next Nigerian President... there would be a holistic reform... including within the Armed Forces... so that every agency knows their responsibilities and complement each other...

Let's stop disorderliness... RENAISSANCE
When are you contesting, I will vote for you.

#RENAISSANCE for the president 2027.

Tinubu should be sent back home ASAP to solve the shameful insecurity problems in his country.

He deserves no presidential celebration in the UK where large number of his county's productive youths have ran to for economic preservation.

Wetin concern him (Obi) with drug dealing case. This is just a mediocre statement. He has never been a chemist in his life let alone to be vested with people peddling drugs for their personal livelihood.

Even if you don't support the man, constantly trying to drag him through everything is becoming a bit nauseating. If you want to criticize, do it in a very constructive manner that is enlightening and allows for reasonable arguments.
Comments like yours, also forces someone of more intellectual acumen to prompt Nigeria schools on prepping those who pass through their domain on public speaking, public psychology and most of all, a better assessment befor even getting them admitted to secondary school where they learn the rudimentary side of English language and never progressed to getting educated with it in the long run.

If you are a young man, it shows how much the country has deteriorated, and if you are young adult, that's even more disheartening and if you are a grown up man, it will be suggestible for you to focus on your life. Obi could be your age mate while you are online dragging his name. Even the drug dealing man arrested is at least doing something with his life which I will belief it is far better than you and your newspaper bus stop reading mentality.

The moment your trib8smen are accused of anything, or being dragged online for their actions you shackles will rise up to defend them.

But let it comes to other ethnics, even the national president, being mocked by your men, your will expose your 32 set of teeth, enjoying it, laughing deliriously.

Oga, grow up, Nairaland has been turned to a tri-bal and reli-gious bigotry platform, so if you cannot stand it, remove yourself from it as others have done.
