Thegazellenews.com reports further that she met the lawmakers briefly before the Chamber was opened.

The lawmakers entered through the reserved entry for them while the main door was opened was opened for staff to come in.

The DSS officers tried to prevent the staff from going but the staff resisted them.

Eventually, the lawmakers held their plenary and passed a vote of confidence on Meranda.

They also called on the National Assembly to investigate the official who ordered the DSS to invade the Assembly, thegazellenews.com reports further.
