Jesse, the son of billionaire businessman, Anselm Tabansi, Jesse, has died. Jesse died in a car accident A few days ago. He was said to have been riding with his friend when their car got involved in an accident. Jesse died on the spot while his friend survived the accident.

Jesse's father, Anselm is the owner of popular Lagos hotel, Maison Fahrenheit and Svengali furniture.

Tragedy struck in Okwelle in the Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State on Friday as three brothers between the ages of two and five were found dead inside a parked vehicle in the village.

The names of the children were given as, Saviour Nweke, 5; Salvation Nweke 3; and Precious Nweke, 2.

Confirming the development to our correspondent, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Andrew Enwerem, a Superintendent of Police, said that the boys, of the same parents, were found dead inside a stationed vehicle in the village.

Enwerem, who said that the state commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, had ordered a thorough investigation into the matter, disclosed that policemen who found the bodies of the siblings had deposited them at a nearby mortuary.

According to the Police spokesperson, “We received a report of three children of the same parents, Saviour, 5; Salvation, 3; and Precious, 2, missing. Unfortunately, the boys were found dead in a stationed vehicle in the village after a search party was declared.

“Suspicion has it that they entered inside a parked vehicle, locked themselves inside and didn’t know how to unlock it.

“They apparently suffocated under the heat and died afterwards. The corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary in the area by the Police.

“The CP who described the tragedy as ‘pathetic,’ has ordered a thorough investigation into the matter.”

However, a source in the village told The PUNCH that the children went out to play when their parents went out.

“Upon return, their parents started looking for them, but could not ascertain their whereabouts.

“A search party was declared and the Police were also involved. Unfortunately, their bodies were found inside a parked vehicle in the village.

“These were children who looked healthy a while ago. There was no sign that death was lurking. Their parents are currently devastated,” the source said.

A five-year-old Cameroonian girl, Maeva, whose legs and hands were burnt when she was a baby is full of smiles after a life-changing surgery and weeks of rehabilitation.

After the surgery carried out by doctors with the international charity, Mercy Ships, the little girl went home wearing normal shoes for the first time in five years... just as promised by her grandmother.

A 33-year old man, Mr Frank Eze has landed in serious trouble after he lured his neighbour’s 12-year old daughter and engaged her in a sex romp in Lagos.

The incident happened at Oluduku Street in Satellite Town, Lagos where the victim’s parents and the suspect resided.

It was scooped that Eze lured the victim to his apartment, reportedly confused her and engaged her in a romp. She was asked not to tell her parents or anyone else and promised to be taken care of in as much she kept the secret between them.
However, their neighbour who had observed what had been going on between the victim and the suspect revealed it to her parents who confronted the victim and she opened up.

The matter was reported to the police, Eze was arrested and detained at the police station. Source gathered that Eze admitted that he had carnal knowledge of the victim but he did not force her as claimed by her parents.

However, the police found Eze culpable and charged him before Ikeja Magistrates court for defilement.

He pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi granted Eze bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The court also directed the prosecutor to send the file to DPP for advice.
Meanwhile, Eze was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition and the result of DPP advice.

If DPP eventually declares Eze culpable, he faces trial and be found guilty, he will spend up 10 years in prison for the alleged offence.
