Do a paid call and let the person you're speaking with know the facts of your application.

1. You all applied together.
2. You as the main applicant have gotten your visa.
3. And on that note, all your documents should have been confirmed (which includes financial statement) - and hopefully this is not what they are trying to confirm for one of your kids which is then taking time.

My assumption here is that there is no issue with parental custody with the children that they need to confirm. And that if your spouse is not travelling with you at this time, you have provided a consent form to this effect (this is a different conversation altogether).

That's the same thing I did ooo, thinking we would all get our visa the same day. However, I received mine 5 working days after biometrics and my dependants got theirs exactly 15 working days. So, it doesn't really work that way

Thank you for your application for your child dependant to join you during your study period in the UK.

 

Paragraph ST34.2 of the Immigration rules in respect of dependant children states:

 

ST 34.2. Each of the applicant’s parents must either be applying at the same time as the applicant or have permission to be in the UK (other than as a visitor) unless:

 

[a] the parent with permission as a Student or as a partner of a Student is the sole surviving parent; or

[b] the parent with permission as a Student or as a partner of a Student has sole responsibility for the childs upbringing; or

[c] the decision maker is satisfied that there are serious and compelling reasons to grant the child entry clearance or permission to stay in, the UK with the parent who has permission on the Student route or as a dependant partner of a Student.

 

Please provide us with some information regarding your child’s father not joining you in the UK, as we are unable to proceed until this information is received.

 

Please respond within 10 working days.  If we do not receive the information requested in the specified time frame a decision will be made based on the available information.

Thanks for all the contributions. I have picked one thing or the other from you people and I will learn from it. I actually have 2 boys. they wanted a sister and I believe it will help them live fulfilled. I actually don't want my wife getting pregnant because she was treated of a medical case and she is healed now and getting pregnant will only wake up the sleeping devil and I don't want to take that risk.(Medical students/ doctors can read between the lines).
I Will look at the adoption option if it will go well with us. why I wanted surrogacy is because the baby has nothing to do with the surrogate, from what I know, apart from nutrition. myself and my wife's eggs will be fertilized and inserted in her. so, I will not be getting any character surprises. when I look at my children doing some naughty things today, I get mad but inside of me I know this is me when I was much younger.

thanks bigtt for the reply. I have been running the business for long without registering it and to be eligible to attend the conference the business must be registered so I registered it to meet the requirements for attending the conference. anyways thanks for the prompt reply
