It is because you are not properly educated to know that making a choice in an election is not the same as what your Osu friends taught you to mean betrayal. Once you rely on an Osu for information, you will become Osutic in thinking. Rivers (South south) gave Tofa the higest vote against Abiola in that region, he also lost South east to Tofa, yet Yorubas did not call it betrayal of the South because unlike the Osus they understand what betrayal is.

In 1993 the military were still in power. It was a contest between Tofa/ugoh and Abiola/kingibe. Ugoh was from the East. In 2015 a southerner was already in power just to complete his remaining 4years u guys denied us.

Germany, Japan and Italy were among the world powers before the second world war, but since the end of the second world war they lost to the Allied forces (US, UK, France, etc) plus USSR (today Russia), have you seen Japan or Germany or Italy topping the global superpower ratings But inwardly, Japan and Germany are stronger than UK or France but in global politics UK and France command more influence, that's exactly the case of Igbos and Yorubas plus Hausa-Fulanis.


Inwardly Igbos are superpowers than the Yorubas or Hausa-Fulanis but when it comes to national politics in Nigeria, to be honest, Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas command more influence than Igbos since the end of the civil war and it's normal all over the world for people that lost war.



So before you start bragging and opening mouth like a typical Yoruba man, go and read your history, Igbos were the leaders and commanders of Nigerian politics to the envy of other tribes before the civil war.


That 1966 Nzeogwu led coup destroyed everything Igbos had built in Nigeria and that's why I laugh at people that call that ill-fated coup an Igbo coup. Why would Igbo political elites carry out a coup when Igbos were literally in charge of almost everything in Nigeria then It was something planned and executed by young naive military officers from all parts of Nigeria with majority from Eastern Nigeria out of their own mindset, was never an Igbo agenda coup at all. My uncle was among the coupist and he regretted their action cos they wanted to make Awolowo President thinking he was the better leader for Nigeria then not knowing he was a power-mongering, cunning man like today Tinubu who would later joined Hausa-Fulanis to fight Igbos.
