emmasege: This is the sort of respect a first class African monarch gets from people who will ordinarily feel to big to bow to custodian of tradition and culture, when such monarch stays in his palace and does not jump all over the place like Ojaja II.
Ooni Ogunwusi should respect our tradition and culture by staying in his palace instead of ridiculing himself and our heritage by politicians in the name of attending occasions and events. Imagine, Aregbesola shaking hands with the Ooni. Why won't he? No be him no dey stay for him palace? From time immemorial, Kings stay in their palaces where they are paid homage. It is said that humanity only values rarity. Imagine our revered Ooni staying in his palace such that he becomes so rare to see or even have an audience with. Whoever feels too big not to pay homage to him, would rather stay off his palace and kingdom. I mean the Late Ooni was not cheaply available for every Tom, Dick and Harry, and it was a rare privilege for anyone to have an audience with him. Honestly, our revered Ooni should give us (Yoruba sons and daughters) that pride again.
God bless the Oba of Benin. May your days be long as you preserve the ancient Benin culture. Where is the sense in your post? |

AreaFada2: So said Lamido Sanusi very clearly.
Fact is Yorubas are widely mistrusted. The Igbos open show it.
But Hausa-Fulani mostly conceal it so that they use Yorubas to keep hold of power.
Giving OBJ the presidency was to appease Yoruba people, so they can be used in the future. Still they gave it to their person of choice, OBJ.
A man who betrayed his own kinsman, Awo, and gave power to Shagari in the past. Osu how I wish you know the meaning of betrayal! |

Never see a bad belly tribe like Afonjas, they should realize that igbos don't have regard for them they should continue sucking their masters uncircumcised dk up north The Osus have regard for the Yorubas big time! The hardly not talk about them, even on this forum, mention the likes of Awolowo, Abiola., Tinubu Fashola, Aregbesola and Ambode Osus will troop out of their erosion ravaged enclave to spew thrash, but mention Zik, Nwobodo, Achike Udenwa, Peter Obi and the likes, the Yorubas hardly comment about them. From time we hardly take the Osus serious, even in Lagos, it common to hear " Leave him/her....he/she is an Ibo (Osu) person". |

tintingz: Lol, thank you for calling me hypocrite.
Firstly, did I said the girl shouldn't wear her hijab? I only talk about rules engaged in WAEC examination hall.
Secondly, must everything be religious attack/war? Can't you see how MURIC published their letter as if a religious war is about to start and how do they came to conclusion that the said WAEC supervisor is a Christian.
Lastly, I said in my post that if the supervisor forced her to remove it and WAEC allows hijab in exam hall then she's a religious bigot. Oga you want to change the rule now right, if a xtian is attacked in the north will you ask if the culprit(s) is/are muslim(s) before concluding? Please stop the hypocrisy |

Though, I feel if the hijab is the small one there should be no problem with that except WAEC does not approve of it at all during exam. Sir, except for if WAEC have different rules for different region, they write WAEC exams with Hijab in the North. |

Ijaw and Urhobo are co owners of Warri with Itsekiri but the sovereignty over that land is Iwere. No debate over that in the past. Debate started with Nigeria. Can the Ijaw in the creeks of Iwere land claim maritime rights to the exclusion of the Itsekiri and Urhobo? No. That wont be possible as it was not possible before Nigeria. The whole land is Iwere with Ijaw and Urhobo natives having their own traditional authourities. Just like Modakeke is Ife land. Who told you Modakeke is Ife land? |
