life’s hard but my micro soft like word
cos I was taught to tie my lace when running this race

one week ago
just had dinner, been watching the waiter
I tried to signal her but I guess it would be later

I took my time with my food
break dancing round my plate

when would her shift be over?
I’m snapped out of my thoughts when I hear “move….shift over!”
two hefty men joining my table
at first I wasn’t scared
but I found it rather weird the way they looked at Cynthia
that’s her name by the way..

her shift was over and by then I was nervous
