Some people are already deceiving themselves by pictures, just like all the APC pictures of Buhari smiling on a train without even asking what did he say.

Inferior complex is the name of this country, as once again, we bring in Oyibo to chop money and go. As the whole world is moving forward with innovating ideas, we continue to do the same thing over and over and expect good results. Are you folks not ashamed?

Politics / Re: Ibadan In Its Rusty Glory - Photos by mensdept: 7:12pm On Aug 17, 2016
Let me tell una about the typical mindset in this British zoo. If you tell someone the truth about their miserable village or town or even family, instead of trying to correct the filth (like this thread exposing Ibadan for not changing for 50 years) they will say shebi your own vial leg no get this and that.

So how can there be progress? Every single town in the SW is filthy and sucks, ditto the SE, the minority brethren and even in the north. So why Yorubas are getting so sensitive over the fact that even the BBC once said Ibadan and even Lagos are the worst cities in the world is mind boggling

The Biafran agitation outlived Ojukwu, for Ojukwu is dead, yet it lives on. Igbophobic elements are usually jellyfishes, it's no surprise that they are yet to grasp the fact that Ojukwu became relevant because he represented the will of the people, which Bia*** represented, Kanu is relevant today because he has come to represent that will. Bia*** is the will of the Igbo spirit that is untainted, it is the movement of the people, it lives in the very core of all innocent Igbo spirits, only a corrupted Igbo spirit is anti Bia***.

An Igbo might fault the means adopted by different Igbo groups to actualize the Igbo renaissance that Bia** represents, but never can he/she be against actualization of Igbo renaissance.

The best quote in Nairaland this summer by far!

No wonder the name Biafra is so feared, even 50 years after its unfortunate fall. For blacks it was an opportunity for a revolution across Africa to benefit Africans but no- lazy and greedy men from Fulani and Yoruba areas no gree, and today Nigeria is struggling to do simple things, struggling to treat the Presidents Ear infection, struggling to have a senate president and deputy without bad record, struggling to have constant light, struggling to sponsor Olympians, struggling to do this and that.

Too bad

May God protect the gallant men of our Armed forces. .On a serious note we need to retire those Alpha jets they don't have air superiority or ground superiority on their side ...and to Imagine that Dasuki and Co squandered over 2.2 billion USD when 400 million dollars could have gotten us a complete squadron of SU 27 Flankers

May god give you wisdom to wake up and realize that all these pictures are all to promote the agenda that Queen Elizabeth wants you to buy into. This air force can't beat anyone, and is designed to keep you in check so that the oil and minerals can go to beta nations sef

Politics / Re: When Will Nigeria Change? by mensdept: 5:33am On Aug 15, 2016
Nigeria will change when it dissolves into the natural and right countries to include Arewa, Biafra, Oduduwa. Anything else is upholding what the English designed- a colony meant to enrich Europeans and enslave groups of Africans as long as possible

As usual nothing less has come out of the Ijaw man with regards to the stand of most Niger Deltans. It still baffles me why Igbos are the ones championing secession and even trying to force it down the throat of Niger Deltans. Very shameful if I may say.

Which Igbo are forcing it down? Last I checked those who actually are taking up arms are those from the so-called "south-south", I.e. Avengers and MEND.

Politically, is it not Ekiti governor and Rivers governor fighting the FG? Not even APGA.

What is shameful is you continue to call yourself a Ni.gga arean after how many years....what is shameful is the Olympic team almost went to Brazil broke, what is shameful is your currency that is dropping like a girl's Nyash dancing on the dance floor. What is shameful is bringing back a coupist to lead you guys, and see him go to London for common ear infection...

And of course, what is really shameful is seeing the amount of women going abroad with all their so-called wealth to give birth for blue passport, because they know being a Nigerian is worthless.

GEJ was a president of the British colony, and as such, typically would not go public with wanting to divide that nation. But come on folks, how many politicians mean what they say?

Even pharaoh said the Hebrews should go, but didn't mean it.

There are 15 Senators representing the South-East at the Senate, there are 18 Senators representing the South-South at the Senate. There are also about 100 dis-honourable members representing the South-South and South-East at the House of Representatives. Has any of these Biafran at the National Assembly presented a bill that their people do not want to be called Nigerians again? Has anyone of them presented a bill that they want to go their separate way and be independent? If any South-South or South-East member at the National Assembly has presented a bill on their self determination, please let us discuss it and take a decision.

If however, no South-South and South-East member of the National Assembly has never presented a bill on their self determination and Biafra junk but instead, they send their children abroad and send poor men's children to the streets to shout Biafra, then anyone seen on the street mentioning Biafra should be shot, survivors should be re-shot.

True because those "honorables" include rigged in people like Theo Orji. The day Biafra comes is the day these guys will be lined up and shot

Politics / Re: [photos] Ibadan Is More Developed Than Any Igbo State by mensdept: 3:52am On Jul 09, 2016
Just a typical "Nigerian" town, despite decades of government patronage and allocation. Nothing different between the thousands of very average development pictures here and those of Sokoto, Calabar, Enugu, Uyo, or Kano.

I think Ibadan would not even make the top ten best cities in Africa and possibly make the top 10 worse.

We love to feel big for nothing, without seeing what Tokyo, Paris, Dubai, Miami, Toronto do so easily.

How is this a nice 1? Why is the meager state allocation being used to donate to a federal institution that already has budget? If we have state police then this would make some sense.

You guys never change your mindset year in year out..governor in governor out.
