Afonjas, think that from Onitsha to Asaba is like long hrs drive like from one state to another state, not knowing that Onitsha is more closer to Asaba than Awka, Nnewi and other major Anambra towns. Similar to Aba and Ikot Ekpene.

It is a huge shame of Obiano and Anambra state as a whole that a fire team from Delta state crossed the Niger bridge all the way from Asaba just so they could put out fire.

Is that not sign of stupidity and mental sickness. After stoning them, did it stop the fire? Onitsha is notorious for ndi ogwu ego who will go to any lengths including sacrificing human lives just to increase their wealth, not forgetting that marine spirits from river Niger are also on the prowl.

Onitsha lacks planning. Developers there are too greedy and don't follow the building code. They build houses too close to each other and this makes a fire outbreak to spread quicker. Go to Owerri and see how a city layout should look like.
