Just in the short time that I've been on nairaland, I've heard more of these kinds of statements than I can even list.

The truth, I think, is that the great majority of parents in all countries are good. The great majority of wives are loving and caring. The great majority of people from every country in the world, I think, are good, moral, caring, loving people. You might not see them on Dr. Phil or Wife Swap. You might not hear about them in the news.
