That nothwithstanding, it is better to err on the side of caution. I have also read about someone who had been a Vice President at Goldman Sachs for over 14 years and had a CV of just 1 page.

What the vice president had is a resume, not CV.

A resume is the summary of your experience, skills and education which is mostly a page or two pages.

When you are asked to submit your CV, you wanna be more detailed especially in your experience, skills and education.

CVs can't be less than two pages except if you use tiny fonts.

So I finally sneaked out of that hell called camp,i hope there's no nysc official on this thread..lol,I have my exit permit with me anyway ...lol. I missed everyone. I don't even knw the page to start reading from....

So I was delayed(kinda saw it coming)the wrongs in my app were too much,and it affected my faith. I don't knw the reasons yet till I'm done in camp on 24th,flying to lag d nxt day to get the package
I can't refire for winter anymore...so I will take my time,settle down,cross my Ts and dot my Is and refire for fall,tho I mailed the sch if my program is available for may intake,they are yet to get back to me..if it is,then I will work on may and I'm so sure with the help of God and my NL pals,i will get it!

Hi ma'am, the process is very easy and straight forward. Just go to their website, search and note the code of the 3 favorite courses you'd like to apply for, check their availability (i.e open or close), download the international application form which you can fill on your PC just like the online form for TRV. The space to input your VISA/Master card details is also provided on the form. Save this form, attach it to a mail and send it to the school.

Just take your time explore the site, it is very easy and comprehensive...

Boss it has been said here times without number that the schedule 1 form is optional, so don't let rebdribs give u high bp this morning o. If it was compulsory for Nigerians the web application will detect you're applying from Nigeria and make it compulsory for you to upload it.

I admit the mistake/fault is from me tho... but it would be very kind of them if they request for one to upload the schedule 1 (TRV form) for approval should applicant's study permit be granted. Fingers crossed, I hope others would learn from this mistake anyway and I know God never fails.

Well, not quite. A TRV application form (the schedule 1 form) is only "optional" because citizens of visa-exempt countries (for example, US) don't need a TRV to enter Canada. So they simply just apply for study permit only. Although, I think there was a time that the study permit application form was enough for CIC to consider naija applicants for a TRV until when they updated their system with changes (I think last year) and started to require that applicants should as well fill the TRV form explicitly. I also stand to be corrected tho.

I didn't fill Schedule 1 at all... couldn't even download the form. Damn! ... Thought the study permit form is the same as TRV. Bad mood this early morning.

No, you have not been accepted yet. It is just to confirm that your application has been received. Evaluation of your credentials would begin after you have been debited. You should be debited within the week and you'd get a mail from one of their reps.

I don't have much experience with canny visa so I can't say much about what you need to add, but one or two things I noticed in your personal docs is the absence of your CV and employment letter(s). I didn't add any employment letter myself but I included my detailed CV which tallied with what I have in my SOP and the IMM1294E form.

And again, check your IMM1294E for any error and if you left some *points unattended to or unsaved. Click save even after validating.

my first refusal (self sponsored) reasons:
1. Purpose of visit
2. your family ties in Canada and your country of residence

When i saw all these reasons i just smiled , i felt this letter wasn't for me . cos i spent time re-writing my SOP and even sent it to some peeps here to make corrections and fixed those loopholes that led to the first delay.
Anyway this were the documents i submitted.

- immigration forms
- academic transcript
- sponsors documents ( parents) payslip, id cards, employment letter
- co sponsors company registration docs ( uncle)
- SOA of sponsors and my personal SoA ( over 8 Million)

I decided to apply for diploma becus Masters admission takes a hell lots of time and most times they will not grant the admission.so I opted for PGD and I got the admission in 2weeks.when u do ur pgd u can finish and den do masters if u like....
