Bro, am trying to see if I can set up a plan B. My plan A still remains writing of GRE nd TOEFL. For u guys addressing me as lazy, please watch it. U are not in my shoe.
Bro, whatever shoe you're in at the moment shouldn't stop you from writing that standardized test to avoid stories that touch. These guys owe you nothing and u owe them nadah as well, all they are trying to do is to help you fill up loopholes.

You can find schools that won't require you to write TOEFL ( the last time I checked, Nigeria is still part of the British Commonwealth nations) or GRE (this most times depends on your chosen course of study), but writing one of em especially GRE won't harm you.

I already got my I-20 without writing Standardized tests, but I just had to spare that 40k to write GRE for practice and also for the VO that might ask for it (Its more like a proof that you are going there to study and not as an escape route).

In fact, until I started preparing for the GRE, I no know say I don rust... So try write at least one standardized test. It helps... Safe

hahaha.... I tell you bro. I will prepare for my GRE with real focus and intent. Thanks
Bro if you are going to start preparing for GRE, I advice you to start now. The verbal section is more 'saddister' (I won't be surprised if u find that word in the GRE) than all the lecturers you've come across o.

Guys pls how do I get to lekki phase one from ojota, abeg I no sabi lagos o lipsrsealed just a nwafor from the east angry grin
If you stand by that pedestrian bridge on same lane with MRS filling station, u should see a bus going to Iyana oworo/Obalende/CMS, when u get to Obalende, you'd be spoilt with enough options of buses going to Lekki/Jakande/Ajah. Board any of them and make sure you're reminding the bus conductor every 15mins that you'd come down at Lekki phase 1 o, else na Ajah market u go land.

Okay, I thought I wouldn't have to disturb anyone from here concerning my (initially, a small matter but now turning to a big one) matter.

To save my potential adviser stories, here is it's summary;

I already got an admission for a graduate program (Standardized test was exempted) which I had to defer from last spring to this fall because of my job.

My I-20 is en-route Nigeria through an expedited mail service.

I took the initiative coupled with the advise of a good guy from here to write Toefl or GRE. I chose GRE because it will not only reignite my already acada-dull head but would also serve to convince the VO that I'm actually going to study.

I planned taking it on the 9th of next month but sh*t happened. ----That's another story-----

I've been trying to register on ETS website for over an hour but I keep getting "not successful" on the merchant's (ets) website.

Used both my VISA (UBA Africard) card and same card linked with Paypal. (It's pending on paypal status but returning as unsuccessful on ets website)

I'd really appreciate anyone with a way forward. Help a brother. Thank you

"I used to sell dried fish but last year on 23rd November I was robbed on my way to buy my market in Ibadan and I didn't have any other money to continue my fish business so I started carrying load(alabaru) for people in Idumota, it's hard work and my body pains me but I take pain medicine everyday. Today is Sunday and there is no market so I sleep here and rest all day and continue work on Monday when market starts. My son is not happy I'm doing this but he just entered polytechnic and can't do anything to help." #HumansOfLagos
Okay, I think I'm okay for today. Most of these stories are very difficult to take in.

Imagine what this woman is going through to make her son a better being. May she get her deserved reward in multiple folds.

Well done OP.

I opened this place yesterday, I didn't see any customer, I had to throw my food away. Today no customers yet except you. I know I just Opened and business won't boom immediately but I expected to make little sales, I'm not happy but I know things will turn around, all these successful businesses didn't make it big in a day or two so I still have hope " #HumansOfLagos
This got me in tears... The struggle is real.

May God help him

It's not just about fear of what he might do. She wronged him very much, and she needs to initiate the talk since he's unwilling.

Doing so only out of fear for her own safety is selfish. It shows she isn't even sorry.

Would your SOA be relevant since you are not a sponsor?
We should get advise on that.
Shit happens man but time isn't our friend.
My personal SOA(e.g salary account) would be relevant in the sense that it would confirm working status me think.

Thanks, Do i need to attach my transcript?
I don't think it's advisable to attach your transcript when you're writing a potential supervisor for the first time.
