I actually applied for similar course in a school in the states. I started the application process early July (10th precisely), could you believe my so called university of technology is yet to reply the transcript verification mail that was sent to them via their officio email add by WES?

It took my school more than two months to send my transcript over to WES. I had to send two (almost threatening) different emails to the registrar of my school before anything was done, paid for express courier and the stuff got to WES the 3rd day. I got a mail from WES some hours later that copies of the transcript have been sent back to the school for verification.

Until this day brother, WES haven't gotten a response from them and application to the school closed on 1st of October.

So in a way to avoid them from delaying or halting my progress, I had to look for another way to chase my dream which landed me here.

I had to maneuver because all I'll ever allow them beans pickers to do is change my route, not my dream.

Gud. The issue now is ur proposed stay in Canada which is 3yrs. U really need to convince the VO by working more on ur SOP. First, why going 4 3yrs program when u already hav a bsc. Is ur proposed program related to ur work experience or ur 1st degree. Secondly, u also need to consider ur age. My advice, why not go for a pgd program of 1-2yrs. All is well

I did explain in the SOP and sure all is well.

I chose two other different courses while applying which are PG courses but the school gave me the one of 3 years which is Advanced Diploma. I'll be positive sha.

Brother's source of income is included but I don't have leave letter and don't wanna request for one. Duration of course is 3 years and I'll be paying in a week time. I wanna submit the docs to avoid delay as time is flying already.

I didn't fill the end date in mine. I don't think you should fill it since you are still employed.

ManTiger: I and many others can't see the supporting doc, dunno what course u're applying for, seems u've have your 1st degree and dunno how related to your fielde of study as well as how tite your sop. Try to think the unthinkable to convince the VO that you're actually going for the purpose of the visa applied for, double chk ur SOP, like someone said, it can make or mar someone's apps, I believe we'll all celebrate with you once approved!

I'm applying for Advanced Diploma

Yeah I took my time to research online on how to write a very good SOP. The summary of what I learned from my old research is 'passion'. You have to be passionate about the course and try to find balance between the course and your present line of work. (Old testament)

And the New testament what I learned here which is also 'passion' but in a more advanced form. Here is about being passionate about our country. I just tried to find the balance between my childhood experience in relation to my work experience, my course and future Nigeria using what the newly reviewed economy would bring.

Its kinda easy to write if you have passion for Nigeria from within and show that Nigeria needs you in the context of your write up. You don't necessarily have to remind them that you are coming back to Nigeria, your passion would place a hidden detail why you are coming back in the write up.

It took me some days to write it tho and I gave it to people to read and even a prof and I made the necessary corrections. I just hope and pray it works and with God all things are possible.

Hence, there should be a concrete reason why an uncle would want to spend so much millions on you. Go again immediately and work on that line. He should be more of a father figure in your life since childhood and maybe even financially responsible for your education since undergraduate. Again, how good is the flow of funds in that account? 5.9M may be accepted from a father or father figure. But from an uncle who just wants to show gratitude, it may be unconvincing.

Correction! Don't think about gaining ur losses with BOM. Think about starting afresh, cuz the more u think about breaking even, the more you become vulnerable to more losses. Forget about what u've lost and start building afresh carefully (Do not overtrade) and before u know it, u will break even and start making overall profit. Enjoy
