Haba! @Phema, people market MIHS o! Look through the threads weeellllll. Maybe because I can see through people easily sha.In fact, I was swayed to that hospital first by the marketers portraying it as a cheaper alternative.

Their own may not be for monetary gains, maybe for just a feeling of fellowship or "I don't want to be alone in this waka so I can share room with people e.t.c". Doctores Para Ti too have their hands full o. Infact, no hospital in the US is looking out for crowd from Nigeria to come give birth. There's is tendency for every non-resident patient to run bills and not pay up which immigration frowns greatly on. So they are not even really welcoming. That also explains why a lot of them don't even pick their calls when you call them, return emails or they insist on full payment on first visit. They don''t send anybody.

Anyways, I no be Voltron - defender of the universe. LOL grin.

I think we should all chill. Let's not make this place too hostile for genuine people so much that they won't come here again. There will always be bad eggs everyday.

If one person is marketing for Doctores Para Ti, it won't affect anyone that has done their research well. Truth is Doctores Para Ti no need marketers, as e be like say the amount of spanish people wey born there sef na waya. I almost changed my mind because it seems there's a lot of traffic there. I can still change my mind if I have real reasons to.

I've read this thread from cover to cover and some people will come here and still be lieing to ask for advise, shey we will stop to dey advise ni even when it's glaring the person is concealing the truth. I just ignore, smh and move on.

Although, it sucks to know some people will do whatever they are doing because of 200 dollars referal fee but I've seen people market MIHS or other hospitals and they don't get killed.

I'm not a marketer (I fit give you my email and phone number make you look for me find my face grin), I work full time and earn well (by the grace of God almighty), so I don't need to market anyone for paltry 200 dollars (28k abi what's the conversion rate again) when I'm going to expend over 10,000 dollars. Millions of people come to market to me everyday but because I don't just sit, do research and e.t.c, I hardly get swayed. If you have plans already, stick to your plan, don't let anyone sway you. We are all adults and are responsible for our choice of hospitals, marketers or not. Change your plans because it's absoultely safe for you, your baby and family after you've done your research well. Na you dey pay your money.

Let's just calm down and pray for a successful childbirth experience, Doctores ParaTi O, MIHS O, Sugarland O, errrm errrmmm.......gbo gbo e.

God bless us all.

@Shelly23, if you are not a citizen of the US (blue pali or green card holder), please don't touch anything Medicaid, Insurance Coverage, Govt Aid e.t.c

They will expect you to clear up all your bills instantly without using tax payers money in between. That way, you don't jeopardize your visa renewal in future.

Cool! kiss

@Genomi, I am not talking to you o. I am encouraging those that are yet to fill their own DS-I60 forms to come out straight because it's almost even easier to get the visa that way. So if you feel insulted, I am not responsible.

I have heard about 5 pregnant women who concealed their intentions turned back at POE because of that, imagine the stress. These people won't tell you the real reason why they were turned back but you will see some testimonials in previous nairaland pages (unfortunately, some data got wiped out). All the border officer will do is simply look at your visa application date, ask for your documents showing EDD, look at your interview transcripts, calculate it backwards and if it falls within when it's obvious one is preggys, we all know the answer.

Again, for the benefit of those that are yet to fill their forms, chose "B2", in the organization where you will visit, you can easily fill in your US hospital details there with their address, phone numbers e.t.c . That way, when you get to POE, whether Houston, Atlanta or Ajegunle grin, the broder officer won't stress you much or turn you back cause you concealed information which they view as premeditated falsely under "Vacation" when you were applied.

Biko, I'm not talking to those that have done their thing their way o, I'm not in the business of accusing people. Ema binu grin

Please and please, whoever is reading this thread, I beg you, do not lie, do not pretend "there is no where to declare your birth intentions". That is why there is "B2" which clearly states Medical/Tourism.

Not trying to sound upright but we cannot continue to uphold our leaders to a certain level of criticism in Nigeria when we normal citizens are willing to lie for little things (or big things in this case). The onus is on everyone of us to tell the truth and let the VO decide to issue the visa or not based on eligibility. Truth is, whether you lie or not, VO will decide the eligibility before issuing visa so why lie to create loads of problems for yourself and other family members in future?

Sorry about the rant but I just had to also drum it here that we do not need to lie to get to the top in life. Ese gan, nagode grin

Yes. I've seen Doctores Para Ti's website revisions. They have included so many details more than twin births as well. E.g. If mother or baby stays longer than expected incurs certain costs.
