You won't see it on the app itself. It says for new users, but that doesn't matter. I've done it twice. |
Yello all. For those who want an app to call naija at cheaper rates, just installed Rebtel, they have a package of 250mins for $5 to call Nigerian numbers. That's like 2 cents per minute... Check it out... |
FFFB:Hi FFFB. I used Cheapflights.com to search for all flight combos from PH to my destination, but finally booked through the Lufthansa website when I read about the issues one might have when it comes to adding infant ticket. You will see different flight options and combinations too. But sha, bear in mind that it is more expensive to fly from PH than from Lag, but when you actually calculate well (flight from PH to Lag, excess luggage fees, all the stress), there's no difference, it's better for me. They carry up to 36weeks, but they will ask for your doctor's letter if you are above 28weeks. Check www.lufthansa.com/en/Pregnancy All the best... |
Hello lovely people. Thanks to everyone who has made this page what it is for jjc's like us to learn so much. Arrived Sacramento, CA few hours ago. Flew Lufthansa from PH, and POE was LAX. CBP was very nice, smiling all the time: Cbp: hello, welcome to the US Me: hi, thanks Cbp: what you here for? Me: childbirth Cbp: really? U don't look pregnant, is this your first baby? Me: yes Cbp: ok, did u contact any hospital? Do u know how much you are likely to spend? Me: yes, (showed him correspondence I got from a hospital here. Their fees are high, but the mail and quote I needed for this purpose. Will start my 'proper' hospital scouting soon). Cbp: do u have cash? Me: yes, 8800 Cbp: ok. Where's your husband? Me: back home but will come later Cbp: ok, pls place your fingers on the scanner... Stamped me in for 6 months, went to agriculture, nothing was seized. Thank God for everything, and thank you all, for I didn't know Jack about this trip, but this thread helped me prepare well. Will post my hospital quotes as soon as I find the most affordable. Nice day y'all.. |
Hi everyone. Pls who has gotten FTF from Port Health in PH airport? Want to be sure because I don't want to reach there on travel date and get stories that make my eyes water.... Thanks a lot. |
Hello mummies in the house. Been following the threads (1,2,3) closely. God bless you all for the info so far. Will be travelling next month for my lonngggg missionary journey. Already had my visa so no story there. Pls I have a question: has anyone gotten FTF from PH airport? I'm planning to use that instead of doctor's and want to confirm they issue it there. Thanks for your help. Looking forward to posting my very successful POE story soon. |
