RedCapChief:
You are only allowed to bring your dependent child under the age of 19.
However, it is not impossible because there are people who have sponsored their cousins and relatives. Some of these methods border on illegality.
Yes, you will definitely need a court declaration.
In summary, theoretically it is not possible but people have done it.
Thanks very much. I appreciate your reply. |

Hello house. God bless you all immensely for the info on this thread. Please does anyone know if it's possible to include a dependent (a cousin that stays with me, 12 yrs of age) in my application? Do I need some form of court declaration? Kindly advise. Thanks very much. |

Kemo88: Hi everyone, My hubby and I are about to sign the consent letter for ETC/Nigerian Visa. I used my maiden name on the letter as as All my documents and passport(don't have a new passport yet) still bear my maiden name. 1) I would like to know if it's going to be an issue to the Nigerian embassy that my surname/last name isn't the same as my husband's name on the letter of consent 2) I would also like to know if using my new surname on the US birth certificate would be acceptable since all my documents still bear my maiden name. Should I just go ahead and use my maiden name on the birth certificate? Or should I use my new name? or is it ok to hyphenate my maiden name and new name (e.g: smith - Coker (maiden-new)
Please this may sound silly but I'm really confused. Thanks Your maiden name is what is required on baby's BC. Please read the instructions on the forms wella o because na money you go pay to correct any mistake. |

TheLeakyTribe: It is my turn to share my testimony.
My LO was born yesterday 11th May 2016. Some of you would recall how my Dollars were stolen by my help before my trip. I was well prepared to follow it up and post everywhere about it but after my first doctors appointment here, the stolen money was irrelevant to me.
The doctor did a scan and said she found spots on my LO's heart that were indicative of either a hole in the heart or downs syndrome. I began to pray and believe God even though I was very shaken by the news.
Long story short, she arrived yesterday and is completely fine. She followed me straight from the OR to the postpartum recovery room. Join me praise the Lord. I'm one happy mumma. To God alone be all the glory! Congratulations dear |

Am due first week in Augand and it's multiple&am also using Harris methodist in dallas texas but am finding it difficult to get a Dr correspondent for my visa application and it's middle next month. I have paid the hospital fee in full but I just want to ask if and how u got a Dr correspondence. Tried 2 Dr and they said they can't give until I arrive and am having a c.s cos it's an ivf thing. I wouldn't mind using ur Dr if he/she is good and ready to pay in advance too. Regards to the baby I didn't get doc correspondence before coming here, just the one from the hospital. |

Hi everyone. Thanks to God for a most successful 1st missionary journey. Used Texas Health Harris Methodist DFW. Hospital was great, wonderful nurses, the attention was great. Felt like people actually cared how I felt, not the shout shout one gets from naija nurses. Lol My fees were: Hospital 4200 VD, doc 2300, labs/one sonogram 350, epi 1000 (I didn't use this but called them to get the price), pediatrician 145, hearing test/pedia at birth 793 (this one pain me die cos I wasn't informed I would pay for the hospital ped separately). Got BC after one week, applied for US passport, went for the appointment with LO waited and collected same day. That na my tori o... Leaving in a few days... Chilling and doing last min shopping.... |

nefertitiram: Actually, it is post dated to the day of your trip (as it is on your ticket),and you need to using it within 7 days after that date.
If your said trip is Apr 30, the ETC is dated Apr 30 and you are expected to use it between Apr 30 and May 6. Thanks for this info. Had same question. |

However, the US office customer rep even said we could call them at the airport if there are issues and they will talk to the staff.

Hello good people. Update on my Waka. I initially planned to stay in Sacramento, but mehnnnnnn DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT GIVING BIRTH IN SACRAMENTO!!!! The cheapest hospital i got was UC Davis for 15,700 (discounted o, but it covers EVERYTHING - hospital, doc, visits, tests, ultrasound, postpartum for baby and mum). There are some cheap county hospitals like Riverside county, couldn't go there cos I have family in a lot of places so didn't see the need to pay for accommodation anywhere.
To cut the long story short, I yaff ported to Fort Worth, Dallas. Using Texas Harris Methodist. Hospital fee VD is 4200, doctor is 2300 (but there's a first appointment fee of 350), sonogram 192. Those are my fees so far. The doc is veryyyy nice, takes her time to explain anything u want.
Still chilling and waiting for my darling LO... |
