PMB is a retired military man, if he really want to level Niger Delta Creet fight, like the way OBJ levelled Odi, he knows quite well that, that can easily be done via air strikes (the newly acquired US fighter jets can do that).

With my HND Accountancy (OSCOTECH) , I was able to obtained the following qualifications without much stress: ACCM, MBA (LAUTECH), B.Sc (Oxford Brookes University, UK), and i am in my ACCA finals.

I think having B.S.c or HND is not enough, lazyness is the problem with people.

Being touth by Professor's or Phd holders don't really matter. A lot of Professor's and Phd holders failed ICAN exams and ran away. How many Professor's in Nigeria can booast of indeep knowlege of IFRS & IAS or it practical applications? Those old men understand only the theoritical aspect of Nigeria GAAP. Most graduate's attends lectures at WYSE, SAFE or PYE etc to get real lectures before attempting ICAN or ACCA. I wipe for this country!

You forget that Esa-Oke is not just a Polytechnic but the only state College of Tchnology in Nigeria. we you really you get to the school engineering complex, u will have a rethink. Taking about University that are good at engineering in 9ja, you must count: OAU, UI, UNN, FUTA, FUTMINNA, and others. UNILAG is no place in engineering. just administrative courses only. Forgrt about certificate!

As for OLUSOLA MESHINOYE, the solution to the Niger Delta rancor is not about sending troops or buying warships.I served in the creek and i know that no matter the amount of trainings the Navy had, they cant conquer the millitant. Let them bring Submarine, NNS Aradu e.t.c. Its all waste of reasourses. As for me OLUSOLA MESHINOYE, I belive what worth doing, worth doing well, If the FG want Polytechnic to be awarding B.Tech, Good! but if we want to copy the UK new system, then lets copy well. In Uk, the Polytechnics are knowm as : Polytechnic University. we should have something like for example Polytechnic University of Ibadan.this will totally remove all forms of discriminations.

Again, what will happen to management course like Accountancy? To the best of my knowledge,Accountancy is the act/process of analysing, summerising,communicating the economic evens of business entity in a technocratic ways for decision making by the users of such information. Therefore its obvious that Accountancy needs a practical approach.No wonder ICAN is offers ATS (Accounting Technicians).I guess that was the reason why LAUTECH offers BSC in Accounting Technology and Oxford Brookes University offers Bsc in Applied Acounting.
