BS! BS!! BS!!!

When baby was 38 wks, I was getting tired already. Frequently urinating, waist pain, etc. I didn't want to get to 40 wks, because I submitted request for my maternity leave .

When baby was 39wks, I started taking zobo, at 12:40am, January 31st, contractions woke me up. I thought it was just cramps, I laid down to sleep again. After about 5mins, it came again. Then I decided to time this "cramps".

It came every 5mins, then reduced to every 4mins, then reduced to every 3mins. I woke hubby and told him it was time to go to the hospital. We looked for cab, we couldn't get, hubby went to ask a neighbor to take us to the hospital.

Got to UPTH at 2:50am, normal saline was fixed and labour progressed. I was 2cm dilated already, not until about 5:35am, I was checked again and I was told I was 4cm dilated. The midwife asked that oxytocin be added to my drip. Around past 9am, I was 8cm dilated. In all of this, I was in serious pain.

By past 10am, I was fully dilated, but baby wasn't descending. By this time, I was on the 3rd drip (plus oxytocin). The drip flow was increased, baby descended, and I was asked to push.

I saw stars, my jajaina was on fire. I tried pushing like 3 times and told the midwife that I was tired, she slapped my thighs and asked me to push again, I pushed again and baby was out at 11am weighing 3.3kg, crying his lungs out.

I had a big tear, placenta was delivered. suturing time was another stars seeing time. I was cleaned and I ate. Took my bath and we were moved to post natal ward. He was born at 39wks, 5days.

Since 33wks I started having contractions was placed on drugs and bed rest to stop contractions, yet nothing. I could barely stand for long without waist pain. I took steroids to strengthen her heart in case she comes out.
Was in 2cm for 3days no progress @35-36wks
Was admitted for 1wk...So I can reach 36wks, they refused to release me due the fact that I have had a preterm before now. I was angry all I wanted was to go home. Had about 25 finger inserts into my vagina. Met 7 consultants who checked and had different things to say.
Managed to move to 3cm after 4 days yet Nothing
Water broke while in almost 4cm on Saturday by 4am,i was immediately moved to labour ward. Cos they give oxytocin at 4cm, they did membrane sweep 4times early and u had another one that same day, still nothing. I only had pains,nothing more.
I cried terribly as they always said something is wrong but didn't know what it was, her heart beat was very stable.
D 8th consultant came and said something is holding down baby, he said her head couldn't be felt as she was far away from the birth canal, that she could be held by cord and as water is draining delay is dangerous cos labour wasn't progressing
Na so emergency CS was declared. Hubby didn't waste time to sign his consent.
Took d spinal cord injection to paralyze my legs, didn't work
Had to make me sleep
Woke up and saw my number 2.DR said it was cord that tangled round her neck

Yayyy im so happy for you mama . Some people have no symptoms while some have from 8weeks. Different bodies. Just rest a lot . The lord is ur strength

Sorry my story is so long na wetin baba God do me I can't hide it. The d day came on the12 o'clock 23rd of January I couldn't breathe well I was having serious contractions, I couldn't move at all I was just holding d wall n whistling NB. I'm at the church now I wouldn't want people to know so anytime anybody is coming I would just pretend and greet the person normally and go back to my whistling.Dh said I should let's go to the clinic but because of my experience I said no that if I get there now they will tell me rubish again (see me testing God) that I will wait till 5oclock. By 5 :30 we got to the clinic but to my surprise.... immediately I was about entering the clinic the contractions stopped again. (Devil is a lair ) then the usual happened again . Then I noticed the baby wasn't breathing and moving well so I told d Dr listen to the baby's heartbeat n behold the heartbeat was so slow. So Dr quickly reffered me to another hospital n when we got there d doctor looked at me and went to hospital office (wether e go consult Oracle me I don't know I shall wan to carry my baby) he came out n told them that this woman is in labor na everyone was surprised then I sighed n said at least one person believe me now so he set drip n injected something inside n GBAM!!! I started seeing holy Mary! My people real labor startedI was screaming holy Mary! Jesus! My dh! Olorun oshoffa! Oluijo mimo! In 15 minutes d Dr came n burst my water bag I was feeling as if I want to poo / fart/wee then I shouted DR MO FE YAGBE O. I WILL REMOVE THIS DRIP O! MA YAGBE SI IBI BAYI O! The I was willed to d labor room I was asked to push n love n behold my handsome king came out screaming to the world! Weighing 3.9 kg. Then the placenta... The Dr asked me not to push cos d placenta was almost as big as d baby in d next 10 second it came out it was sooooooooo big. On sighting d baby dh n I just started crying cos he was sooooooooo handsome n fair! God b praised for those waiting on d Lord for fruit f d womb may God grant ur heart desires dis year will not pass u by....cappo besea and January crews I submit my BS. Till 2022.

Cappo my Edd according to LMP is 14th feb sha and I corrected it a looong time ago with the prev cappo, i havent bothered u since but now seeing this Farrr edd here ejor mabinu epp me and change it so i can have small hope dat she is coming soon. Google squats online. Basically its just to bend ur waist low and stand up, where you purnished in school while growing up? That sit on the air purnishment. Sometim like that. U hang on d air and get back up, keep goin up and down. I do 20 daily yet babygirl is still taking her time.

Alhamdulillah. All praises are for you.

So February is finally here. We're in awe of your might oh God. Please make this month easy and make it one of the best in our lives.

At delivery time, make it painless,easy, cervix dilate properly, bones be strong, blood be sufficient, water be enough, muscles -contract and relax appropriately, vagina- expand and contract properly afterwards (for the enjoyment of ourselves and DHs), baby waste no time and hurt not your mummy and don't get yourself hurt too, oh God provide for the daddies and make mummy's joy full. Let there be no reason to cry except for tears of joy and at the awesomeness and cuteness of our LOs. Make our LOs the coolness of our eyes and not a trial of our faith.

For those of us that'll have CS by choice or by chance, please make it easy for us and make our recupperation fast. Give us the wisdom to select the best birthing options for us and LOs. Let there be no complications or loss.

For our mamas whose journey stopped at a point or who suffered losses, lord please ease their fear and pains and reward them and replace with better ones for them.

For our juniors, please make us good seniors to them. Teach them to respect their seniors too. For those that have ported and those that will port, please make it easy for them and bless them too.

Give us the strength, wisdom, health, wealth and understanding to take care of our LOs and families. Protect our LO and families from evil eyes.

Teach those that'll do our omugwo that they may handle us and LO well. Be our helper ohh God.

Cappo Im good we thankGod. Since last night iv been having mild cramps, till this morning sef. The cramps started when i did my regular squats i do every night oh. Its not intense yet anyway and not in anyway regular. The struggle to walk these days is real. MayGod grant us all Safe delivery. Amen

Good morning team February. To God be the glory, my Edd was 13th Feb but I gave birth yesterday 31st Jan. I was 38weeks 2days. I am a FTM and I am advising all pregnant women out there that it is not easy and if you can afford Epidural please use it coz it really helped with my pain. I don’t know how it would have been without Epidural. Be at last I give God the praise because Child birth is a miracle. My fellow team feb and all other pregnant mothers I wish you all a safe delivery. And again don’t be afraid. I was afraid to be given a tear during child birth but I didn’t feel a thing and now in my recovery stage it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Just keep your mind open and believe that you can do it. God is a miracle worker�.

First 4 month was a walk in the park,no morning sickness,no spitting,no vomiting,no headache no odd craving,no food or drink aversions all up till this moment(Jehovah God iam grateful)
But since December yours truly has been feeling out of form,the heaviness no be here,now both my wrist are turniontheirown,the pain is outta this world,last week,i was trying to punch dh,the kind pain I felt ehn! it went straight to my brain,come and see me crying like a child that loss his bobo,dh was shocked,cus he has never see me cry before,this is me that loves doing my work all by my self,now had to start begging to help me lift,open,remove things,it giving me so much concern.
To eat na wahala,small food everywhere don full,to think I have been dropping weight now for two antenatal,bp,urine and other parameters odikwa ok. If to say this baby gree crave all those medemede,shebi I go use that one dey console myself,common ice cream,e no dey do me eat,dh go ask what do you want,my answer always is nothing,soft drink self mba, na to dey soak garri,chop Eba,upadan .

To sleep nko another wahala,if I lie on the left,hips pain,turning to right,my pumpkin go start to kick vigorously,same as sleeping on my back,to stand up from the bed to urinate nko? Big work,cus both wrist I suppose use for balance feel so disjointed and painful. I don complain tire for hospital na so so paracetamol dem dey pack give me, before dh go bandage both wrist in the night,but now bandaging no gree work again, fingers feel numb and tingling at the same time...e be like say na only me Waka come? Just has to let this out,just finish crying self for the frustration this is giving me.drops mic

maybe you should check another hospital. A general hospital preferably . A second opinion matters. As long as the scan is reading correctly and you feel good movements plus heartbeat is solid then there is no need to worry. Just check somewhere else.

So I went for atenantal 2weeks ago and d doctor used tape 2 measure my Tommy and it was measuring 26 weeks against 35 weeks,dey sent me 2 go and do a bio phiscial profile and everything was fine and baby was measuring 35weeks,I went again for atenantal 2day and dey said the same thing that the tape is still giving them 26weeks.am beginning 2 get scared oooo..abeg sabi mama mk una help me chuk mouth ooo b4 I go get bp..

Hi, mamas and mamas to be, I was cleaning my nipple with coconut oil on Monday evening, after like 10mins of cleaning both nipples I stopped when i started having contractions, till I slept off, it continued. when I woke up on Tuesday morning, but still having mild contractions today Wednesday, am 34weeks pregnant, edd march 12, is the contractions normal?

Just pause and resume at 36weeks . Dont worry, all is well. The cramps will stop. Stay positive

Na so I tire race on 14 Jan. I went for antenatal, complained of headache and occasional pain on the abdominal region. Dr. Prescribed drugs without telling me what the drugs were to treat or correct. Their store said the bill is 5k7h. Went back to the Dr. But he refused to tell me exactly what he was trying to treat just said madam go pay and collect your drugs. I told him Mr. Dr. Those are not my drugs and besides I don't have the amt of money on me. Oga said NO PROBLEM JUST PAY WHAT YOU HAVE AND THE NURSE/ABI STOREKEEPER WILL GIVE ME THE ONE MY MONEY CAN AFFORD. Na so I carry my leg comot for their hospital go buy catfish cook my pepper soup. After doing Justice to the meal, I slept very well and wake couldn't find the headache again.

Haba everyday I go there, they will prescribe one thing or another and you must buy from them.

Omo ehn, i had to run, cos he refused next week sef. He said his own advice as my doctor is that im admitted immediately and induced tomorrow like dis. The scan shows all is well, I believe he just wants to be safe than sorry. Im sure princess will be able to wait .

I went for antenatal today o, and after checking me oga doctor said i will be admitted today to be induced tomorrow due to reduced amniotic fluid that is still withing normal range o. He is just trying to play safe. I had a scan done and babys heartbeat is still fine. So i pleaded to be admitted next week. Hopefully by next week i will fall into labour naturally. I dont want to be induced.
