The rest stuff like car seat, rocker, playard and breastfeeding products, I'm getting from One Stop Baby Shop at Garki (when they start their end of year sales this month) cos they sell foreign but affordable and variety of products in fact you can get everything there too plus free consultation abi advice.

teamie me too i haven't gotten any baby things yet.. Thats because am in maiduguri and I plan on giving birth in jos. Travelling next week so I'll start shopping as soon as I get to Jos

I used to have sharp vaginal pain when I stand at a spot but relief when I walk or sit then I noticed it happens whenever dh releases his sperm inside me after sex since then we have been practicing withdrawal method and I've never experienced such pain again

My pregnancy journey:

I got married February this year and took in that same month so to the glory of God I did not have any issue trying to conceived, in fact to some extent I was not happy that it happened that early cos I was hoping to flex small but despite our caution God had his own plan.

MS Palava:

At exactly 8wks I was not the owner of myself, I woke up throwing up every morning, my system couldn't take in any food initially and I was losing weight, only my boobs were gaining weight and was so painful, most times I hold on to it while walking. It wasn't much before I discovered some relief to my ms courtesy of this thread, first cold water did the magic for me and I was so happy, even under heavy down pour I'll be drinking chilled blocked water my mum in-law talk tire that it delays labour I no send her.
My next next discovery was fruits but the fruit own was in phases, I tried all kinds of fruits till I discovered the ones that my system could accept, first was star apple, I can consume a basket full of star apple to the point that every morning you'll see me dragging it with market women, one would be wondering if I have started fruit business and to worsen the matter my tummy was as flat as plate so nobody believes me even if I begged those women to sell for me that I'm pregnant, well I still managed to come back every day with my sack full of star apple without sending anyone.

My next fruit was cucumber which was the bae of them all cos with cucumber I was always full, before after cooking for the rest of the house I will be watching them eat but with cucumber I was good to go, I could stay a whole day without food but fruits, I later discovered mango which I can buy one as costly as #200 then I switch to fresh corn and pear that will make me belge like goat after eating but I still continued anyway cos that was my craving, I threw up after eating all citrus fruits so I avoided them all like a plaque, basically through out the first trimester I was living on fruits.

Fast forward to second trimester my taste bud was back, I was able to consume some citrus fruits in small quantity though, my energy was back too I began to act like I'm not pregnant, I'll wake up to eat in the middle of the night, all of a sudden I started hiding foods my husband will just be wondering when this stinginess started, I have cried severally all cos he forgot to buy a particular food I craved for, I have never fought in my entire life but I find myself fighting in the market all cos of a particular food I was craving for, If I'm eating groundnut and it falls inside a hole I must remove it oh, to the point my husband nephews were laughing me.
All in all my second trimester was sweet except those normal pregnancy symptoms which I do come here to complain and mama Liftedhands and her team will tell me to romance my package and waddle dey go.

Mama's I'm in the hospital. I was rushed down here few mins ago. I'm seeing blood in my panties and when I pee. I've never experienced such before. I know my father in heaven is with me. Fibroid I know we will conquer. Im going in for scan now. In your hands oh Jah.

@Messyodi I'm glad to know that everything is alright. I did experience 2 days without much kicks when I was at your stage and even now at almost 35 weeks, there are some days the baby's kicks aren't so reassuring. But I have come to understand that that is when baby goes through growth sprout.
But It's good you have gone to scan to put your mind at rest. Your baby will suckle your breast at full term in Jesus name, amen.

Don't take it lightly. Pray seriously, cancel whatever it stands for in the name of Jesus (I'm assuming you believe in Him). I'll lift you up in prayers too. You won't register any loss in your life by God's grace.

Mama, trust your instincts, pregnancy is delicate and reduction in movement for 2days is not a joking matter, you can go for a quick scan to clear your doubt

Teamie, sorry to hear that. Please go 4a scan and see your doctor. Let's be on the safe side please. I sometimes feel so too but later have them move alot later in the day. You can also count to get a min of 10kicks or movements in 2hours .try ds several times a day. U know babies sleep too. If u can get that you're fine.

Sorry to serial the thread but lemme rant before I run mad

My 4 year friendship is taking another turn..
So I met this friend of mine 4 years ago while TTC and we have really been supporting each other. We got married same year . We pray togeda, share experiences and even eat together. She is really peaceful and haven't had any issues whatsoever with her for 4 years now. I do love and care for her

I noticed things started changing when early this year I told her I'm expecting. She only said congrats and went offline. Unlike my first preggie where she almost screamed down the building from excitement. Usually I'm not a fan of telling friends and family that one is preggie but she's so close that I couldn't help it, oweing to the fact that I was in another state running a program only for me to return almost due, I felt she would feel sad that I couldn't share my joy with her

So she started ignoring my chats. 6 months later she msgd me only to discover I was on admission.
I finally relocated back to base and delivered. I'm not even bothered that she didn't show up and naming even though her house is just a pole away.

Now the issue is the 1st day she came to see us she met me bathing my 1 week old and said my baby looks like a defeathered turkey.. I was so shocked that I screamed WTF! She apologized and said she meant no harm but that my baby really look funny
Fast forward to 6 weeks later. She came to say hello yesterday and repeated the same thing - holding my baby's two legs and admiring them she was like" Chicken dey hungry me oo "..
This time around I almost told her to leave but had to control myself. I asked her what inspired the thoughts of eating chicken that early morning and she said my newborn's laps inspired her cos they look like chicken laps without apology. I shouted " so full human being now looks like chicken that you want to eat abi?" She burst into laughter.
She has been TTC for 4 years now, 1 miscarriage, 7 failed IUI and currently considering IVF. I had managed my temper so she doesn't feel cos she has no seed yet I mocked her or something. This is someone I dont go a day without saying a word of prayer for. Someone should pls tell me if I'm trying to overreact cos Im already afraid of the friendship
If you were in my shoes how will you react to this statement?
