heybaby12: By next year when you reach here you would understand that they are not forming busy but actually busy. Those that come back here to give back are trying , I tell you. He is very correct! I never thought I could be this busy all my life because from morning till night I'm always on the move. I do most of my sleeping inside the trains. Lol Everything here is all about time and time regulations. Well, but notwithstanding we can still create a little time to assist those we can, especially when its very important to them. |

Metabolite01: A quick one before I sign out for today!
Hopefully between mid December and 3rd week of December I would be having some euros (€) to sell. Maybe 3500-3750€ or thereabout.
So if you know you would be needing it, just PM me so we strike a cool deal.
OneLoveEveryone!
The hustle is real here! I forgot to add this: Even if you won't be needing the complete amount but just a part of it either for your Blocked Account or to pay for your enrollment/semester fee or maybe for any other reason (but definitely not uni-assist fee), then you are higher welcome to contact me. |

blaze007: I get u bro...but 13k multiply by the 3 skuls..dats 39k. 39k I can use to buy winter jacket when I reach Germany God's grace I'll suggest you send it as one package to someone here in Germany, then the person would help you distribute to the various schools. That will be quite affordable and safer for you. Cheers! |

Sakasitay: Wow hello guys,
It has been a long time. I really suffered before I got my visum. About three weeks after I got my AM. Thanks be to God, and also my advisers, and even the International Students enrollment officer at my university. So, I got my visa on the 15th of October. I was supposed to move out Nigeria on 13th October, but the embassy used my visa to dance shaku shaku. God pass them las las. Their delay cost me extra money for the rescheduling of my ticket.
Some people can be annoying sha. When I told people about my case, they undermined it by saying - "that I have no problem now", some people even said that if I can afford to pay tuition fees in Baden-Wuettenberg, then that means I can afford to have my rent counting, while I haven't arrived Germany. To the Glory of the Lord, my name was announced as the first person for visa collection that fateful day. (Paulinus my ni^^a lol).
So, I departed on the 19th of October, 22:35 pm and arrived frankfurt 6 O'clock in the morning, before I took my connecting flight to Stuttgart. Settled down, and even toured the school. Then the following Monday, the real business started. During the first two weeks of intense, fast-paced and rather confusing lectures, I was doubting myself. I began to have cognitive dissonance (psychological/mental disturbances that arise after a decision to do something has yielded results). But, I have begun to cope. I am even the only black man from this whole wide world in my class.
1. When you are coming, ensure that you revise some of the key components of your undergraduate degree program. 2. Come along with your undergraduate research project. You may be asked to defend it again, in front of Oyibo profs (INTIMIDATING!) 3. Don't carry excess luggage. When you reach here, you can buy the appropriate winter jackets and so on. 4. Learn some German, before you arrive. Communication is a problem, if you can't speak "come-and-be-going" level of German. 5. Try to sort out your STW accommodation before heading to Germany, lest you spend your entire money on staying in hotels. 6. Distraction dey here oo. Free internet, beautiful shops, parties here and there. Be guided.
I can't believe that I have become an adviser on this page. Look at me now, about eight months ago, I was still asking for how to navigate on DAAD.de Just believe and have the courage to take the risk, and you will be glad you did. Thanks for all the people who made this thread lit. Eke40seven, and his mythbusters, Cassie V for ze tips, Justwise, Dailydollar, shasha, everyone. I will still pop in from time to time, to provide help, in any way I can. Auf wiedersehen alle. Nice! Congrats on your arrival and your rapid capability to cope with the system |

THE entire processing from THE checking point of God of ABA kingdom- kng Paulinus TO THE Interview with the V.O2 were indeed great. Although, during THE Interview THE woman(VO) was saying we always cram our ANSWERS for the questions which i felt Bad about it.
Also, to the glory of God My fintiba confirmation came in around 5:15a.m while i was on the queue then I just had to take excuse from THE security man and went straight TO maami TO print out My confirmation. All went well.
THE questions asked by the VO2( THE woman with dread lock).
1. What is your Name? 2. Have you funded? How much and with which Bank? 3. Can you define your undergraduate field on your certificate (whats it about)? 4. Why Germany? 9. Why not U.k , Canada? 10. Tell me facts about Germany 11. Where is your school located 12. Whats THE capital of baden Württemberg? 13. Whats THE capital of Bayern? 14. Tell me the European countries sharing borders with Germany starting from THE North.? 15. Have travelled TO germany or any Schengen countries before? 16. Are u married or single? 17. What are germans Export products they transport? I only remembered BMW 18. What is your plan after your studies in Germany 19. Do you intend TO work in Germany?
Thanks for today....have a wonderful day. I rejoice with you for a successful interview. The next testimony you would post here will be your A.M arrival. Congrats in advance! |
