juniorbeard:Sorry over the situation, every disappointment is a blessing. Relax, you will surely overcome very soon and your dream of schooling in Germany must actualize by God's Grace. I was equally affected by the winter 2017/2018 visa appointment trauma, but its all a thing of the past now. My opinion: Why not choose some other courses that you are sure are done both in summer and winter semesters, or if possible, courses/schools that you can easily defer your admission to the next semester since this limited appointment slot is becoming a regular thing and its becoming tighter every semester. Once u're in Germany, you can apply for your preferred course or switch over to it. Just my opinion. Please our gurus and ogas in the house, kindly advice in your own opinions. |
oladejitaiwo:Well, the dhl price depend on some factors: Your current location and the destination. If its for blocked account, then it should be addressed to the Deutsch Bank address in Germany. If its for the student visa, then it will be addressed from the Germany consulate in Lagos to your personal address or any address you intend using. Price from Warri Delta State as at late last year: International (To Germany) its about N18,300 or so. Then if its local (To or from Lagos) then its about N4200 or so. Like I said, it depend on which state your are, as it can be lower or higher. |
ayomeah:The VO returned some after going through them. So I believe its better they see it and return it instead of them asking for it and you can't provide it simply because you didn't go with it. Yes, I added an affidavit of age declaration because my birth certificate wasn't that of NPC. The VO accepted and kept both the birth certificate and the age declaration |
adaokafor:Well Said. He's ryt. You've said it all. Sincerity matters a lot. I went with enough supporting documents and all sort of evidence. Apart form all d mandatory documents listed in d embassy webpage, everything stated or mentioned in my CV was backed/supported with a document. I went with my pre-primary certificate, employment letters, my B.Sc transcript, B.Sc statement of result, B.Sc certificate, my primary certificate, my JSS 3 certificate, waec certificate (including d online printout and d new scratch card). All my membership certificates, all my industrial training certificates, all my professional training certificates, all attended conference certificates, my birth certificate (local government council, not NPC) alongside age declaration. Uniben made a mistake in the middle name of my certificate, so I got a letter from Uniben to back dat and also did an affidavit of name confirmation, also had to put a document with which I did my Uniben 100L clearance showing d correct name I used in applying to Uniben, did both handwritten and typed motivation letter (VO preferred and collected typed motivation letter). Just try to ensure u clear all doubts in absentia knowing full well u won't be there when they will be deciding your application. To add to dat, prepare well for your interview. Get as many interview transcripts as possible from those who have gone before you and practice all questions like that will be d same questions u gonna be asked. My interview was like a brother to sister interaction to the extent that I neva wanted the interview section to end (I'm sure d nice and calm VO also wished so, Lol). Above all, get the GOD FACTOR Mind You: Getting all the above mentioned documents is not a guarantee of visa approval, but it surely will go a long way in clearing some unnecessary doubts. Like stated in the embassy webpage, getting all required/mandatory documents is not a guarantee of getting your visa approved, but its a prerequisite. So please, dnt fully depend on my personal case as a means of visa success. Aside from proper preparation and oda things, God is the major factor in everything. A.M fall on those that are still waiting and expectant. Amen! |
StarBoy54:Bro, for fairness and justice, please just wait for the admission letter to come first. There are a lot of persons with A.L now but yet to get appointment date. So dragging the few available dates with them won't be right. So just keep the faith and hope alive. More importantly, be prayerful. Your admission letter will come by God's Grace, then you can immediately go for any available date. Relax, God will surely make a way for you bro. I assure you, very soon you will have a testimony to share. OneLoveBro |
Neyoalao:True! |
YSPON:Lol Bro I've not been able to access my mail for about 2 days now. Ive not even been on Whatsapp or facebook since then. I dnt ignore any p.m no matter how busy I am, except I've not gotten access to my mail. You PM someone and the person hasn't responded doesn't mean you were ignored. I'm sure it wasn't up to 48hrs yet because I last visited my mail 2 nights ago. If you are angry about that, please take it easy and pardon me. Never meant to offend anyone either through words or actions, directly or indirectly. So bro, forgive my manners. I'll check my mailbox right away. Anyway, we are all nice people here. OneLoveBro |
YSPON:Congrats! More testimonies will come for as many that are hopeful. Let the A.M keep dropping! |
Jerryzone:I'm happy it went well. A.M and multiple blessings fall on you. You will share your visa approval testimony in this platform very soon. Congrats in advance! |
ibnkokumo:Yes, I'm going for Master's |
Jerryzone:Thanks Baba Jerry. How did your interview go? I'm certain it went perfectly. Congrats in advance! |
BabaEuro:Yes BabaEuro. I plan traveling by February ending or early March, so I can get at least 4weeks to relax before my lectures begin. You will definitely share your own A.M testimony very soon |
BabaEuro:Thks a lot BabaEuro. Enrollment deadline is April 3rd, then lecture starts April 9th |
hillsiderfak:Amen on your behalf and on behalf of everyone who is expectant both for A.M, interview date and admission letter |
Jerryzone:Put your German school/university address if you know it. |
adaokafor:Wow Dat means they have been waiting for you. Dis is really interesting. Congrats once again bro. Well, I funded exactly a month before my interview |
ibnkokumo:December 27th |
A.M just arrived. Did my interview 27th December. I'll upload my transcript later. Make I first praise God finish |
adaokafor:First of all, congrats as regard your visa approval. Secondly, ur passport isn't much of a problem. Just submit both of them, the embassy knows what to do as you have shown transparency by submitting both passport incase they have any doubt. So that shouldn't bother you. Thirdly and lastly, when did you do your interview? |
BabaEuro:Well, handwritten or typed, it doesn't matter. I've seen pple dat went with typed motivation letter and had no issue whatsoever. Even Mr. Paulinus will not even bother whether its handwritten or typed, to show you dat it isn't really a problem. I went with both handwritten and typed, and the VO categorically told me she prefers the typed motivation letter. Well, my advice. If you know you don't have a good or legible handwriting, then go for a typed one. Because if you end up getting someone to write it on your behalf and maybe on the day of your interview, u're given an A4 sheet to answer some of the questions before the oral interview, then I really don't know what it would be like when they discover that the handwritten motivation letter is obviously not written by you. Also, if you notice, handwritten letter of motivation was stated only at the first checklist on the general webpage when you click long term visa (student). But if you are trying to book an appointment, you discover that along the line there is another page showing the checklist of required documents, and it was just "MOTIVATION LETTER" that was mentioned, not handwritten motivation letter. Like I said, during my interview, I went with both and I personally asked the VO which is preferable since I saw handwritten motivation letter in their webpage. She said they prefer typed one as they often have problems reading some pple handwriting. So she collected the typed motivation letter and returned the handwritten one. MY ADVICE: If you can get both handwritten and typed, go with both. Then allow the VO to choose for himself or herself. OneLove |
kolidave:There is always a refund policy for whichever bank you intend using |
kolidave:Yes! Although funding or proving financial capability (weda tru blocked account, scholarship or sponsorship letter) is very important as visa CAN NEVER be granted without dat, even if ur required documents are 100℅ valid and complete, and even if ur interview was 100℅ wow |
SenR:Well Said! |
Jones500:YES! |
SenR:OK. Thanks for the response. If you wouldn't mind, I don't know if you can post your interview transcript for others in the platform (especially for those whose interview is fast approaching) to learn one or two things from it. Thanks! |
kolidave:Proof of finance or subsistence doesn't guarantee visa approval, but its a necessary condition for granting student visa among oda things |
hadassaheke:I guess he also sent his proposed date of travel when he was asked to send his int'l passport and health insurance. Don't you think so? Don't you think so? |
Jones500:No |
