Elgaxton! Thanks for that wise advise. To clear some of us, the people tagged OSU are those whose ancestors were believed to have taken refuge in one god or the other. The result is that is they were taken to be the property of such gods. They were used for sacrifice and that was because they had surrendered their lives to those gods. In other words they were the untouchables, 'unmingle-ables' if I may use that coinage. Modern society have come to frown at such practices not just the belief. In other words, it is not about "western education"  as some of us may think, but about positive spiritual awareness.

If your brother's fiance has severed herself from such belief and practices, then you should support your brother and help him convince your parents, afterall you said both families have been friends. I emphasize PRACTICES because some of them, (Osu) hate to be called Osu but they relish the protection they get from such gods. My brother, there is God and there is the Devil, and both have powers. But thank God for his GRACE. I wish your brother all the best as he makes the right decisions.

Guys let's not leave the substance and pursue the shadow; Cushman and Gl are not the issue here. Whatever they may have said is just an expression of their feelings. The issue here is: should a man engage in a physical fight for his "GOD"  or vice versa. This is a question those that started the cartoon riot should address. If your religion was cajoled, it is left for your "GOD" to prove himself and not you engaging in a pesonal affront. The muslims should learn to be less physical and use their brains.

If that's the kind of music we'll face then there's no cause for alarm. I could face such music all day long and still not complain. About the issue of harrassing girls, well that's very bad like every other vice. In my own opinion, the police should have a minimum educational qualification of at least SSCE and while they are in service study leave should be made compulsory. I believe this will improve their values and keep them more focused on the job. This should come in addition to improving their standard of leaving. Recruiting school drop-outs and training them hasn't given us much results.

Let's face reality here folks, we all are guilty of this crime. The remedy to the problem is re-orientation. Yes Re-orientatin. And unfortunately that will be difficult in our era but not impossible; at least we can start from somewhere and let future generations build on it. Our sense of value in this country needs to change. Nigerians have become very materialistic and have thrown honour and dignity to the dogs. The police is just a meagre fraction of the entire population. I agree that there own has become so open that they now see it as there right; I mean to collect these monies from drivers but don't forget that they are equally a product of the same society with you and I. You can't expect a dog to properly watch after a piece of bone when it has nothing to eat, ost especially when it's master is feasting on meat. The situation is very bad, but here's the good news "There's hope and as such, there's a future if only we resolve to be good ourselves no matter what".

My pop up blocker is off. About pasting the screen shot i tried it but only the text pasted. What happens actually is that the second download page opens but without the download icon. ie the page that u are directed to when u click the 'insta now' icon.
