Politics / Ex-minister, 2 Others Arraigned For Money Laundering by metroblogger: 10:01am On Jan 23, 2018
Former water resources minister Sarah Ochekpe and two others on Monday appeared before a Jos Federal High Court over alleged money laundering involving N450 million.

Ochekpe, who was arraigned by the EFCC, appeared along with Mr Raymond Dabo, former PDP Chairman in Plateau, and Evangelist Leo-Sunday Jatau, Coordinator of the President Goodluck Jonathan campaign in 2015.

The trio appeared to answer a two-count charge of conspiracy and money laundering.

When the charges were read to the accused standing trial before Justice Musa Kurya, they pleaded not guilty.

The Prosecuting counsel, Mr A. Y. Manchata, told the court that sometimes in 2015, the sum of N450 million was transferred from the account of then former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Alison Diezeni-Madueke, to the account of one of the defendants, who allegedly withdrew and laundered it.

But the defence Counsel, Mr Sunday Odey, who challenged the allegations of the EFCC, applied for the bail of the three accused persons, who he described as “people of high integrity.’’

“My Lord, since my clients have pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge, I hereby apply for their bail on self recognition.

Responding, the EFCC Counsel objected to the bail application, insisting that the accused should be remanded in Prison considering the weight of the offence.

Odey, however, countered Manchata’s position, and stated that he would stand as surety and produce the trio at the next adjourned date of the case.

After listening to the arguments of the two lawyers, Kurya granted them bail on self recognition and adjourned the case to Feb. 13 and 14 for hearing.

Politics / PHOTOS: Borno PDP Secretariat Demolished by metroblogger: 10:29am On Jan 22, 2018
The Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) located at Dandal Way, Maiduguri was demolished by a combined team of Mobile Police Force and officials of the Government of Borno State around 8am on Sunday.

Addressing newsmen after the demolition, a Chieftain of the party, Baba Isa, disclosed that the state government has been mounting pressures on the owner of the building to revoke the lease agreement with PDP.

"Initially we thought the threats were part of the usual persecutions we have been facing all these years but when the Governor revoked the building's certificate of occupancy, we knew his desperation to take us out has taken a new dimension.

"We are not oblivious of the fact that the PDP is a threat to the maladministration of the APC rule in Borno State and this sudden strategy to silence us won't work.

"Look around you, the people resent this government, they have vowed to do away with anything associated with APC and this show of shame and dictatorial approach won't change their stand," he said.

Politics / Phd: Buhari, Others Applaud OBJ At Noun’s Convocation by metroblogger: 8:06am On Jan 21, 2018
President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for bagging a doctorate degree at the National Open University(NOUN).

Buhari, who was the visitor at 7th Convocation of NOUN on Saturday in Abuja, described Obasanjo as the “Father of Open and Distance Education in Nigeria.’’

Obasanjo who was among the 14, 769 graduands, was conferred with Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Theology, thereby making him the first PhD product of NOUN.

Out of the number, 41 bagged first class honours.

Represented by Prof. Abubakar Raheed, Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), Buhari said that it was Obasanjo’s belief in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) that made him enroll in NOUN.

“Obasanjo, because of his quest for quality education, could have opted to fulfill his desire for university education in Ivy League universities of the world and none of them could have denied him this opportunity.

“NOUN and indeed Nigerians, will continue to appreciate your belief, recognition of and support for ODL in Nigeria; we are proud of you,’’ he said.

Buhari said that his administration desired that Nigerian universities, irrespective of their mode of delivery, would deliver on national needs and aspiration as well as be strategically positioned to compete internationally.

The visitor said that as a result of the centrality of the curriculum in the delivery of quality university education, he had charged NUC to ensure periodic review of Nigerian university curriculum.

Earlier in his address, Prof. Abdalla Adamu, NOUN’s Vice-Chancellor said 14, 769 students across all disciplines marked the largest number of students ever graduated in NOUN.

Adamu said that the greatest pride of the event was the graduation of Obasanjo as NOUN’s first PhD student.

“His successful completion of a rigorous course of study and going through the numerous examination processes leading to PhD in Christian Theology and its confirmation by the University Senate in January is his most powerful statement about lifelong education.

“His patience and perseverance in pursuing a doctorate degree programme at his age and status in life is a roadmap to all of us.

“It clearly communicates three credos: you are never too old to learn; you are never too powerful to learn and you are never too full of learning

“Obasanjo embodies all these and therefore becomes the poster boy of education renaissance. Nigeria congratulates the oldest PhD graduating student in its history,’’ he said.

On his part, NOUN’s Chancellor, Dr Lawrence Agubuzu, said that Obasanjo had made a giant stride.

The traditional ruler said that Obasanjo had proven to be an all-round model to every citizen of Nigeria.

“Whoever needs a lesson on lifelong learning should simply study the trajectory of Obasanjo’s education.

In his remark, Obasanjo expressed delight for being awarded doctorate degree by NOUN.

He described NOUN as one of the best institutions of learning in Africa.

The former president said that he had many honorary degrees but none was as fulfilling as bagging a doctorate degree from NOUN.

“I feel a different sense of joy today from when I receive honorary degrees; at last count, I have received about 20 honorary degrees from top grade universities all over the world.

“The earned doctorate degree I receive today comes with a different sense of fulfillment and accomplishment.

“My studentship of NOUN confirmed that via the ODL platform, there is no age limit, no status barrier, no social lineage.’’

He said that during his student’s days at NOUN, he requested that he should not be given any special privilege because he wanted to go through it as other students.

“I went through the rigours and discipline of post graduate studies like any other post graduate student.

“I thank my supervisors for giving me the opportunity of going through the grail and the crucible of research for my doctoral work.

“I could not have had better supervisors; they were firm, strict but meticulous and tortuous,’’ he said.

He thanked the staff and management of NOUN and congratulated fellow graduands.

Politics / Elombah Brothers: Keyamo Asks Buhari To Sanction IGP by metroblogger: 9:53am On Jan 20, 2018
Lagos based lawyer and activist, Barrister Festus Keyamo (SAN) has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris over his alleged illegal arrest, detention and trial of two brothers, Daniel and Tim Elombah.

In the open letter, Keyamo who is the solicitor to the two brothers accused the IGP of display of high handedness in their arrest over a publication allegedly published against him.

The petition, dated Monday, January 15, 2018 and signed by Festus Keyamo, SAN, was titled ‘Open Petition Against The Inspector-General Of Police, Ibrahim Idris, In Respect Of High-Handedness And Abuse Of Office In Ordering The Illegal Arrest, Detention And Trial Of Online Journalists (The Elombah Brothers).

The lawyer accused the IGP Idris of sending men and officers of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad to invade the family compound of the Elombah brothers in Edoji, Uruagu Nnewi, Anambra State without telling them the offence they have committed.

See The Petition Below:

We are solicitors to Daniel and Tim Elombah and we have been briefed as follows: Our clients are the Publisher and Editor respectively of the UK-based online news website called Elombah.com.

Daniel Elombah is also a lawyer by profession. On or about the 1st day of January, 2018, the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, caused the men and officers of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad to invade the family compound of our clients in Edoji, Uruagu Nnewi, Anambra State.

Six persons (including our clients) were arrested, handcuffed like common criminals and driven to the SARS office in Nnewi.

They were subsequently taken to the SARS headquarters in Awkuzu, near Awka. Up till this point, our clients were not informed of the reason(s) for their arrests.

It was at SARS headquarters in Awkuzu that our clients were handed over to other armed officers who identified themselves as being from Special Tactical Squad, S.T.S, a team that works directly in the office of the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris. Our clients and one Izuchukwu Elombah were then taken all the way by road (and in handcuffs) to Abuja.

It was in Abuja that the officers then subjected our clients to hours of grueling interrogation regarding an article published in another blog called opinionnigeria.com, titled ‘IGP Ibrahim Idris’s Unending Baggage of Controversies”.

The article in question was not published by our clients’ blog, Elombah.com, and our clients denied any link to the author, one Ebiowei Dickson. Daniel and Izuchukwu Elombah were eventually released on bail, but have been made to report constantly since then.

However, the Police got a Remand Order to detain Tim for seven days which expired more than a week ago and the Police are still holding Tim illegally. We now understand that the Police have prepared a Charge against our clients and they would soon be arraigned.

Your Excellency, it is shocking and alarming, to say the least, that the Inspector-General of Police deployed the officers and men of special police squads like SARS and STS, which are established to fight serious and violent crimes, to settle a purely private grievance with on-line journalists.

If at all an offence was committed by the said published article (which is not conceded) a simple civil invitation to our clients would have sufficed. But to use such strong-arm tactics to reign in our clients was a gross abuse of his office and an employment of stone-age tactics in pursuing his personal grievance.

He has further displayed his personal vendetta by refusing to release Tim Elombah long after the detention order has expired. This is one of the worst forms of abuse of human rights.

Your Excellency, such practices should be clearly unacceptable under your watch. A situation where your appointees ride rough shod over innocent citizens or use the positions to which you appointed them to settle personal scores should, ordinarily, rankle you and cause you to intervene.

It should be more so as the substance of the matter has to do with the criticism of the personal life of a public officer by the Fourth Estate of the Realm, a practice that has come to be recognized as one of the components of a thriving democracy.

If a public officer cannot tolerate or stomach harsh criticisms, he has no business occupying public office.

It is in the light of the above we urge you to use your good offices to order an investigation into this crass display of power and indiscretion by the Inspector-General of Police and mete out appropriate sanctions against him, which may include the extreme step of relieving him of his position.

Crime / PHOTOS: Traditional Healer Arrested For Deceiving Over 500 Women That They Were by metroblogger: 1:14pm On Jan 18, 2018
A Traditional healer has been arrested for conning hundreds of women into believing they were pregnant in Guinea.

N'na Fanta Camara reportedly gave her clients who had been unable to conceive a mixture of leaves, herbs and other medicines that caused them to bloat and look pregnant.

Some of her victims were reported looking pregnant for 12 to 16 months.

According to BBC, she charges her clients $33 (£24) each, in a country where the average monthly wage is around $48 (£35).

Police believe Ms. Camara made thousands of dollars a month, despite the claims that her aim was only to help the women.

"I work very hard to help [the women] realise their dream but the rest is in the hands of God," she told reporters in Conakry.

On Tuesday, more than 200 women stormed the police station in the Guinean capital of Conakry where Ms. Camara was held, to protest.

It was also reported that over 700 women aged 17 to 45 are believed to have been affected by Ms. Camara's pregnancy "cure".

"It's been a year now since we first went to see this woman," one of the protesters told the BBC's Alhassan Sillah in Conakry.

"During our first visit, she gave us some medicines of leaves and herbs that made us vomit. She assured us that this was good for us. As one continues to take these medicines, the stomach starts to rise a bit.

"After a while, we visited again, she examined us by just touching our bellies and she declared us pregnant."

The women added that Ms. Camara told them not to go to a doctor, and once she declared them pregnant, they were expected to give her a chicken and fabrics in thanks.

So far a police doctor has examined 47 of the affected women and said they risked long-term complications from the treatment.

N'na Fanta Camara is expected to be charged soon with endangering people's lives through fraudulent means.

Crime / Stepmum Stabs UNIABUJA Undergraduate To Death (Photo) by metroblogger: 11:38am On Jan 13, 2018
An 18- year- old 200-level student of Statistics at the University of Abuja, Awal Sani, was on Thursday January 11th, stabbed to death by his mother's rival during a family fued at their home in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. The Nation reports that Sani's stepmum, Rukayat Abdulkareem had confronted her mate, Sani's mother, over their missing husband.

It was while Sani was trying to calm his stepmum that she stabbed him to death.

Younger brother to the victim’s mother who narrated the unfortunate incident, said

“Between 10:00 p.m. and 10.30 p.m,, I heard someone banging on the door and I came outside, I asked her what she wanted and she said she was looking for her husband. I know the woman, they were living close to us here in Pipeline before they packed to Kaduna road. I told her that I would check and see if I can call the husband for her. I went inside, I met my sister and informed her that the man’s wife was outside looking for him, my sister said she was going to meet the woman, I tried to stop her and told her she was not the one the woman came for but she insisted. So I followed her because I didn’t want any problem. We met the woman and then I realised that if they start talking, it may result to another thing. So, I asked my sister to go inside and went to pipeline police station. I invited a policeman, he asked the woman what the problem was, she said she was here to see her husband. The policeman asked her to follow him to the station so she can write a statement and they will return to pick her husband. But she said she was not going anywhere so the policeman left. I went inside the house and the next thing I heard was that they had stabbed Awal. I rushed out, we did all we could to save him. We rushed him to the hospital and the doctor confirmed him dead and we brought him back home. She had left when I rushed out but the vigilante men caught and brought her later and we kept her till the police arrived''

The deceased was meant to have returned to school on Monday January 15th

Politics / It’s Wrong To Link Buhari With Herdsmen Killings – Adesina by metroblogger: 7:10am On Jan 11, 2018
A Presidential spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, has frowned at those accusing President Muhammadu Buhari of condoning killings occasioned by farmers/herdsmen conflicts across the country.

Adesina, who is the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in a video message he posted on his personal Facebook account on Wednesday in Abuja, dismissed the insinuations that the President was condoning the killing because he is a Fulani man.

According to him, such killings by herdsmen predated the Buhari administration.

He said: “Something that is disturbing that I have heard about it is linking those developments to the fact that a Fulani man is president and so, he is brooking such kind of evil acts.

“I think that is very unkind. And I will try to back my position with statistics.

“In 2013, particularly, there were nine cases of herdsmen invading communities in Benue state alone and more than 190 people were killed.’’

The presidential aide also noted that in 2014, there were about 16 of such tragic developments with more than 231 people killed.

He further explained that there was a change of government in May 2015, but between January and May 2015, there were six attacks which left about 335 people dead.

“Now, the question is, during that period, did we have a Fulani president? This is showing us that the issue of herdsmen attacking settlements, attacking farmers, attacking communities is pure criminality and it is something that government must deal with.

“It is the duty of government to preserve the lives of the citizenry. It is the responsibility of government to maintain law and order and that this government is determined to do.

“Therefore, let nobody say that all this is happening because we have a Fulani president.

“We have had many Fulani presidents in the past and this issue of herders and local communities at loggerheads has predated this government,’’ he added.

Adesina, therefore, appealed to all citizens to continue to support and cooperate with the Buhari administration as the government was poised to find lasting solutions to the conflicts.

According to him, the government is determined to get to the bottom of it and it will get done.

Politics / Buhari Is Best Option For 2019- Kogi Governor by metroblogger: 1:03pm On Jan 10, 2018
Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello has reiterated his support for the second term tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari, saying the Anti-Corruption Czar remains the best option for a “stable and united Nigeria”.
Bello who made this known in Lokoja through his spokesman, Kingsley Fanwo, said the President has “unfinished business with Nigeria”.

“Nigeria has witnessed tremendous development under President Muhammadu Buhari. We are moving away from the crazy search for white collar jobs to have created over six million blue collar jobs less than three years into the first term of the Buhari administration. Our mining policies are now opening new vistas for prosperity and Nigeria is becoming more united than ever.

“The Federal Government is embarking on massive road construction and rehabilitation projects, rural electrification is also receiving a boost.

“When you see the progress we have made and still making in rail transport, you will agree with the Pro-Buhari agitators that the President needs to continue his good work beyond 2019”.

The Governor said President Muhammadu Buhari’s image and credibility cannot be matched by those competing against him.

“We are in a delicate transition from an era of unbridled corruption to an era of transparency and accountability. Nigeria needs to consolidate the gains recorded in the past 30 months. We can trust Buhari and his good works”.

He said his administration will concentrate on delivering democracy dividends to the people of the state despite distractions by opponents who are stunned by the progress of his administration.

According to him, Kogi is a microcosm of a larger Nigeria with heterogeneous culture and interest, saying his administration will continue to strengthen efforts at making the state better.

“2018 is our year of definition. We will concentrate on delivering democracy dividends to the people. We cannot afford to be distracted by people who feel they need to pull the state down in order to achieve their fading political dreams.

“As a focused government, we shall concentrate on delivering development to our people. We won’t respond to the antics of those who are intimidated by the rising political profile of the administration.

“APC has come to stay in Kogi State. 2019 will clear the doubts of those who think they can eat their cake and have it back. From Anyigba to Kabba, Isanlu and Okene, our people have shown where they belong.

“Politics is played at the grassroots. Those who want political powers should come to the people. We are here with the people, meeting their aspirations and catering for their needs”.

Bello reaffirmed his earlier stance that “Kogi is for Buhari and Buhari is for Kogi”, reminding critics that Kogi people were the first to hold a mammoth rally to endorse Mr. President for second term.

“When the people of Kogi West announced their decision to endorse Mr. President for second term, a few Abuja politicians who are opposed to the President quickly dissociated themselves from the rally. But the people came out in their thousands to declare support for our President. That showed that the Abuja politicians have lost touch with reality back home. They need to catch up with the people who have left them behind.

“Kogi East and Kogi Central had given their own endorsements too. Kogi is for Buhari and we shall speak with our results come 2019”.

The Governor promised to continue to work with the NLC to make the Civil Service efficient, urging the NLC to always explore the open door policy of his administration to address issues.

Celebrities / Mercy Aigbe Addresses Her Birthday Dress Controversy by metroblogger: 11:45am On Jan 10, 2018
Actress ,Mercy Aigbe was embroiled in controversy over this red dress she wore for her 40th birthday shoot .

The dress was originally meant for a bride but the designer ended up giving it to Mercy and gave the bride another as a replacement.
Mercy wrote

I have followed events as they unfold following a particular dress I wore for a photoshoot. First, I must say that I sincerely sympathise with the bride as this situation is painful, unfortunate and regrettably avoidable. I hired and paid Seun @styledbyseun for the photoshoot as a stylist and got four dresses for the shoot. Seun and I were unaware that one of the dresses was meant for someone else. I am embarrassed that the designer was not professional enough in handling events leading to this moment. It is also painful that a bride is made to go through what the bride has been made to go through. I have reached out to both the stylist and designer (whom I have never met nor HIRED directly) to express my displeasure. I have instructed my lawyer to look into this and see how best to approach this from a legal point of view without festering an already open wound. Thanks.

Politics / Suspected Herdsmen Kill 2 Policemen In Benue by metroblogger: 3:41pm On Jan 09, 2018
The Police Command in Benue has confirmed the killing of two of its personnel by suspected herdsmen in an ambush in Logo Local Government Area of the state on Monday.

Confirming the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Makurdi on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Moses Yamu, said a police patrol team sent to the area was attacked late on Monday.

He said the command immediately dispatched a reinforcement team which repelled the attackers and restored normalcy in the area.

Yamu said because of the nature of the attack, it was difficult to ascertain the number of casualties, especially as the attackers were many.

NAN recalls that the Chairman of Guma Local Government, Mr Anthony Shawon, had alleged that hordes of herdsmen were camped at Dogon Yashi Forest from where they launched attacks on villages in the area.

Shawon, who is also the Chairman of Association of Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria in Benue, explained that the forest stretched from Guma to Logo on the banks of River Benue covering over 57km.

NAN recalls that the suspected herders had attacked some Benue communities on New Yew Day and killed 71 people.

The state government has fixed Thursday for the mass burial of the victims.

Politics / Wike Places N20m Bounty On Each Of 32 Wanted ‘cult Leaders’ In Rivers by metroblogger: 11:25am On Jan 09, 2018
Rivers Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared 32 suspected cult gang leaders spread across the State wanted and is offering N20 million reward for anyone who can provide useful information that will lead to their arrest of any of them.

The Governor had also announced that the State Anti-kidnapping Law will be amended to prescribe death sentence for criminals involved in cultism, robbery and kidnapping.

The Governor who stated this in broadcast on Monday on the killing of Johnson Igwedibia alias Don Wanny, stated that the Rivers State Government has zero tolerance for crime and criminality, hence it will continue to take measures to protect lives and property.

He said: “We reiterate our zero tolerance for all forms of criminality and reassure all residents of our determination to be tough with those who choose to violate our criminal laws and undermine peace and security in the State.

” To underscore the seriousness we attach to the fight against violent crime, we shall be amending the Anti kidnapping law to prescribe the maximum sentence for engaging in cultism, robbery and kidnapping”.

Governor Wike stated that the amnesty programme of the state government led to peaceful atmosphere in the state and was largely successful before it was compromised by the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi who prevailed on the Federal Government and the security agencies to sabotage it.

He claimed that APC leaders in Rivers State worked against the Amnesty Programme.

He said: “Our decision to offer amnesty to all repentant cultists, militants and criminals was done in good faith and in the best interest of the State. Regrettably, while the programme was on course, some opposition leaders in our state, especially the former governor, unhappy with the successes recorded, dissuaded some armed militants and cultists from sincerely embracing the amnesty.

“Indeed, they also persuaded the Federal Government not to support the programme and other security measures we had recommended. This is the reason why we must thank the President for doing things differently and with the support of all, a different result has been achieved.

“Even now, instead of showing respect for the dead and genuine sympathies to the bereaved families of this dastardly act, the former Governor prefers to further exploit the unfortunate incident for political ends by making wild, unguarded and inciting statements against the State Government. However, we leave him to the judgment of God and posterity.”

Governor Wike said contrary to Amaechi’s false claims and posturing, the security challenge in Omoku predated the current administration. He said Rivers State was never peaceful when Amaechi held sway as Governor, noting that the same Don Wanny tragically killed 32 persons in Omoku on the 14th of December 2014 under Amaechi , who failed to bring Don Wanny to justice.

Governor Wike said: “For years the security situation in Omoku in particular, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government area in general, has been most challenging because of the criminal activities of Don Wanny and his gang.

” We therefore wholeheartedly thank President Muhammadu Buhari for rising to the occasion and not politicking with the issue of security. We also commend the security agencies, particularly, the Nigerian Army and the Department of State Security, for swiftly rising to the challenge in the most professional manner.

“There is no doubt that this heroic success has proven what is possible when our security agencies are willing to discharge their constitutional duties with unadulterated commitment and professionalism.”

The governor stated that the position of the state government on the amnesty offer was clear as those who genuinely embraced the offer are bound to fully, completely and perpetually renounce all forms of criminality to enjoy terms of the amnesty or face the full weight of the law when they deviated from the programme.

He said: “Consequently, based on reliable information by the security agencies, I hereby direct them to immediately arrest and prosecute the under-mentioned persons who have either reneged on the terms of the amnesty and or refused to embrace same by continuing with cultism, kidnapping, and armed robbery in the State.”

The governor listed 32 cultists from 12 local government areas to be arrested and prosecuted by the security agencies.

While reassuring the security agencies of the support of the Rivers State Government as they discharge their responsibility of maintaining law and order.

“The Rivers State Government will pay N20 million to any person who volunteers useful information that would lead to the arrest and prosecution of any of the afore-mentioned persons.

“Since 2015, we have been calling for tackling security issues devoid of political considerations in Rivers State in order to achieve maximum result. This level of commitment and professionalism as demonstrated in the Omoku case is exemplary. Therefore, we will continue to demand no less from our security agencies to keep our State safe and secure for residents, visitors and investors.

“As a government, we have invested heavily on the security of the State and will continue to do everything within our powers to guarantee the security and safety of lives and property throughout the State. As a fact, we will spare no cost in ensuring that nobody will have peace if the lives and property of our people make no meaning to them”, the governor said.

While recalling his visit to the families of the victims of the ugly Omoku Violence on January 1, 2018 where he pledged a N200million bounty for information on the perpetrators, Governor Wike said the death of Don Wanny and his murderous gang is a welcome development.

He said: “Although we would have wanted Mr. Don Wanny and his gang members to have been arrested alive and put to trial for their numerous crimes and atrocities against his own people, his death, nevertheless, is a huge relief to the entire State, and therefore, most welcome development.”

The Governor regretted that some cult leaders have either reneged on the terms of the amnesty and or refused to embrace same by continuing with cultism, kidnapping, and armed robbery in the State:

Consequently, he declared 32 alleged cult leaders in 12 local government areas who, he alleged had refused to embrace state amnesty programme or initially embraced it but are back to criminal activities.
