America and Nigeria are not the same. So stop dreaming. Every Federation is peculiar, what works in County A must not necessarily work in Country B. The wicked dominance by the North is grossly unfair and may lead to an armed struggle in the near future. A stitch in time saves nine!

Nigeria and US are not the same interms of heterogeneous factors??
Pls which other system would you suggest??
Did you ever wondered how we came to this??
History has it we once operated the parliamentary/unitary system it didnt work out as a result of heterogeneous factors like religion, population, multi-cultural stance e.t.c and we adopted this system that is fashioned in line with the American system.

Family / Re: Why Do Poor People In Our Society Like Having Plenty Kids? by Metroman7: 3:10pm On Sep 19, 2016
IamWestAfrican:

Agreed that the poor, due to their financial deficiencies, have little to zero access to qualitative living, yet, why is mortality rate evenly distributed among the three societal classes in Nigeria? It really doesn't matter. In fact, it seems the poor are outliving the bourgeoise.

Your premise that the poor are guilty of indiscriminate child-breeding because they intend to make up for their downsized population is wrong.

You should have listed more germane causes like:

—Illteracy, and non-knowledge of family planning

—Inaccessibility to contraceptives, either due to cost, or due to poor orientation towards the usage of condoms et al.

—Non-knowledge of vasectomy e.t.c.

Where is your statistacs to butress that mortality rate is evenly distributed??

And again it is not like the poor are outliving the bourgeoises. No, the former procreates daily hence exceeds the latter interms of population. To be a bourgeoise is a luxury in every contemporary society my guy. It doesn't come cheap.

MissGdope:
one thing i detest a lot is generalization. Its absolutely ridiculous to assume that a whole group of people are one way just because of the actions of a few. I have met many poor people who have only 1 or 2 kids and rich people who have up to 8. Not all poor people are the same. this kind of question is like asking "why are white people racist" when a lot of them are not or "why are black people uneducated" or "why are women gold diggers". These types of questions make no sense to me because its like insulting other people who are not anything like you perceive them to be just because they belong to a particular group of people.
This type of useless question the OP asking has no purpose. what answer are you expecting? obviously from the tone he has set, he just wants to see others bashing and insulting poor people. OP you don't know where you will be tomorrow, respect yourself and stop causing unnecessary drama.

Op's assumption is based on aggregate...Asking questions is the basis of philosophy and everone has freedom to ask questions and everone is entitled to an opinion. It is only through that we learn. However ops use of the word "Dog" is improper. But to tell you the truth there have been a lot of conributions including yours which has really brought this topic to limelight, As the contributors have ushered reasons from a whole new perspective/ dimension. hence, it has passed for a good question now a good topic of discourse.

This is way extreme. The husband should be man enough to face the consequences.

There are more strategic creative ways of showing her that buhari is sleeping on duty hence not working other than turning her into punching bag.

I can only imagine how the woman was tearing the man apart with illogical arguments as against observable reality the man faces.[/quote][/s]

No matter how colossal the figure might seem let them have it as long as the source of the wealth is not ill gotten, I don't see a problem with that. What matters most is for the kids to adore the value of what they are having.... They are enjoying the labour of their parents in all outrageousness!

Show me a place like this in Nigeria and my next vacation I promise I'll go there. You guys want celebrities to grow the economy by spending their hard earned money celebrating in Nigeria when the government can't even provide the basics for them to rely on. No light to depend on. Ugly environment except some chosen areas. If rain falls, your guests will wade through dirty muddy water to get home:
So I shouldn't go somewhere like this to celebrate my day/time (if I can) out of loyalty to a country that doesn't care about me?

Mtchew. Not happening
